I’m a massive language nerd so I have to know what languages do your ocs speak? Like in universe do they speak English? Or something else? Or like can they speak fantasy languages like orcish and elvish or whatever? I absolutely adore your art and comic you’re so talented 🩵🩷

im aiming to leave it up for interpretation like they could be speaking any language as along as you can understand it sksksk but yeah Ollie can speak orcish (i think its technically called black speech or somethin?) that's his first language so im thinkin he probably has an accent maybe its a twang similar to german and russian combined somehow or a 3rd mysterious accent who knows!!! there's a whole plethora of languages including other worlds that connect with the 'main one' Kari can speak in her native dragon tongue but maybe she doesn't know much of her fairy language since her mom was out of the picture. I know Ponti can speak spanish too since he was around Wig a lot when he first started speaking and the most wide spread language most monsters use is body language 👍 some may use their appendages/ abilities as a "mouthpiece" in fact the orcs probably use more animalistic sounds for more discrete communication if they're ambushing or hunting ect. so monsters can have different levels of communication too

Very funny guy to me I like when hes depicted as like. Someone who presents himself to look very cool and intimidating and strong but is clearly the type of person that would fall for an updog joke repeatedly. Also based on his room he might be able to skateboard AND throw toy trains into basketball hoops so thats prettt cool

i feel in my heart that you are correct and also that solomon specifically is so mad that he can't do them.... also i'm going to make it a rule: if you can do magic you can't skateboard and vice versa. something about having magic throws off your inner boarder.....

this opens the possibility of ik becoming a tony hawk like figure within the devildom and i think this is the only variant of devildom fame that she would be okay with

Hiiiii I just wanted to come in here and say I’m so so obsessed with Callum!!!!! Absolutely loved the doodle Salt did of him with Kendall and I’ve been reading up about him since my girl August was also in that post and UGH his lore and design are just SO SO good I can’t wait to see more stuff abt him….I should also ask a question while I’m here umm what are his favorite/least favorite festivals? 👀

The dance of the moonlight jellies is BY FAR his favourite. He never got the chance to see them with his grandpa (pops is what he calls him) and during his first year in the valley, it really stuck with him. It’s a simple festival sure, but he enjoys it much more than the others. He’s also a pretty big fan of the Luau. What can he say? He likes good food :)

Which one he doesn’t like? The Desert festival, because SOMEONE (Lewis aka Class A Party Pooper) didn’t like the idea of having a bull riding competition. Callum was sour the whole bus ride back to Pelican Town when he found out. A close second would be the Ice festival, he’s just not a winter lad!
