Remus: *walking back into the kitchen after going to the restroom and seeing that he's eating a slice of cake out of a frying pan* Sirius, baby boy, you can't have cake for breakfast.
S: *looks him dead in the eye as I take another bite* It's a pancake, perfectly valid breakfast.

He wasn't listening to his councilors, though it wasn't like they were listening to each other either. Aidas and Theia were dead, their blood in the soil, Lanthys in Eldred's care. Apollion and Sirius were locked in the Prison their boys sent to the Wingedfolk to care for. It was all on him, everything his mother had fought to rebuild was poised to crumble if he —
He scraped his chair back taking his dagger to slam into the wood.
"Enough! We squabble while the world tears at us and feeds at us. You, gather our spies I want them in embedded in every kingdom south of The Thief Kingdom. I don't care what they need to do, I want them entrenched, our roots will be too deep to cut now."
If he left now he could see the tail end of the Oord blooming.
"Sire that is sound but what of the heirs shouldn't they —"
The advisor swallowed a scream as Thanatos slammed his blade into his hand pinning him to the table. His eyes darkened, the room's magic ricocheting higher.
"They are not the heirs. Apollion was stupid enough to get him and our queen caught. Aidas was too weak to resist the temptations of a fae bitch. So no their children will not be setting foot in this kingdom. Anyone else have other asinine questions to waste my time?"
He dragged his eyes to the council members meeting each of their eyes. He looked back to the one with his dagger embedded into it.
"I want that cleaned of your filth an hour before I retire."
He turned striding out of the room, his way clearing. He didn't acknowledge his subjects, he didn't focus on anything till he was topside among the thick fogs of Oord.
He bit down on his fist, crumbling to his knees as the waves of grief crashed over him again and again. They'd all come here as boys playing late at night. His people may only recognize brutality but his parents had still taught them compassion. If the lower dregs had nothing to work for, pockets of peace why would they fight for them?
He should have given his life for his brothers, either of them would be better suited to all of this. He felt too much that had always been his curse. He —
He stiffened the sounds of another reaching his delicate ears. He growled striding through the fog to find her. He barely blinked at the state of her. He simply glared down at her. He was used to the state the Thralls were kept.
"This place isn't for you Female. Why are you soiling what belongs to your king?"
He hoped his mask held, he needed it to. He wouldn't be considered weak. He wouldn't be overthrown for his nephews, they were safer far from this - at least till he could leave them unsupervised.
//Thanatos meeting Makaria!!//
A moment, that was all she asked for. A moment of peace, a moment of rest. Her body ached and her soul cried for relief, soul...That was a funny concept, she had heard the comments aimed at her before. Thrall, that was all she was seen as. She had no position, no place.
Her nails dug into the skin of her palm as she settled upon the ground, the fog of Oord was calming for it felt as if she was protected. No one would find her, no one see her. Makaria let out a soft sigh, her head falling forwards.
All peace and calm disappeared the moment she scented him, the sight of him caused her entire body to tense as her hand went for the weapon tucked in her belt. Useless, but she would protect herself.
She scoffed, even if it pained her to act so rudely to him. "I will not be ordered around by any Male, not even one who wears the golden crown," she snapped back. "I'm sure if I did it will only add to your fragile ego."
