I love Sirily friendship

I call them Starflower ⭐️🌸

Can I share the snippet of an Aro/Ace Sirius, Demi Lily friendship that I've been playing around?

“Whatever you say, Evans. You’ve been yelling quite a lot these days.”

“Only when people aren’t listening.” She crosses her arms. “Your friend seems to have a hearing problem besides his myopia.”

Black doesn’t seem bothered by her comment. “James hears what he wants, he sees what he wants. I thought your problem with him wasn’t about his looks – some people have assured me he’s quite comely.”

“Well, you can go back to those people and tell them to–”

“Then you yell you are not attracted to James at all – he heard you, by the way, and he’s feeling quite down.”

“I’ve made myself clear before I’m not–”

“Interested in him, yeah.” Sirius’ eyes are gray, stormy, deep. Lily should be able to see what everyone sees, only maybe she is as nearsighted as she just accused James Potter of being, because she can’t. “Have you ever been interested in anyone?”

She thinks of her only kiss, of standing there thinking this was what she was supposed to do; thankfully her date took her stillness for shyness and that was over quickly. The only thing LIly remembers feeling was relief when they broke apart.

She could lie to Black – he’s done nothing to earn her confidence – but standing there, watching him, that same relief floods her.

“Have you?” she replies, and when Sirius Black smiles at her – the same smile that would make all other girls in her class faint –, Lily smiles back because, for once, someone understands.

I love when they're casually v physical even just as friends like hand holding and leaning on each other's shoulders or lying in each other's laps or whatever; Lily hitting it off w Sirius and that being like the Real Gateway to things working in a Jily way; becoming actual friends by exchanging owls over a summer break; and I'm always a huge slut for a muggle au where Lily's deep in STEM and James is a humanities bitch (speaking personally as an english/history double major lmao)

I love thinking that Lily is just a very touchy person and doesn’t hesitate with her affection (apart from when she’s just admitting to liking James of course.) 

And I love it when she’s bros with Sirius. Like I really love a good Sirily friendship. It’s very important to me. I mean if they didn’t get along, James would have been miserable tbh. And I do love Jily being friends first. Makes the ust build more lol

And yes, most of my Lily’s want to be a Healer or Doctor so I feel that
