soft hands and soft eyes god they make me cry
Sometimes I wonder if a cybertronain ever wants to cry when they see a child. They've done horrible things. None of the, can ever be who they once were. Energon stains their plating and no matter how long it was cleaned off it continues to suffocate them. Their cold and calculated warmth is no longer found between them. They weren't brought up with tenderness and safety it is a world unknown to them. And yet seeing this small organic smile and scream with enjoyment of seeing them makes their peds feel unstable. They'd cry and if could maybe they will once they find solitude for just a moment. Do you think Megatron has ever wants to comfort the children the autobots hold dear when he harmed them. Do you think once the dark energon has cleared his processor of its fog for just a moment he finds himself disgusted of his actions. Do you wonder if he finds a way to monitor them. Do you think he almost collaped when he so,how got word he almost killed Raf. I wonder if starscream ever found himself wanting to snatch Miko up and keep her safe. She's strong and quick minded. Maybe if he found a way to make her mind find comfort in a metal frame as she does flesh he could convince her to let him teach her how work her new body.( he'd push her to want to be a seeker be he supposes if she's a wrecker he could still keep her close enough.) He realized how dear the other two are to her and know he is fighting his mind on wanting to help preen to children. Blitzwing finds themselves in front a wide eyed child. "What's your name?" The small organic says loudly voice smooth and comforting unlike any voice modulator could ever hope to mimic. He's calm whenever he visits now and yet still each personally seems to itch in the need to coo and the child and convince them that they have a spark. It's there they just need some help and Blitzwing is here to help them. Their isn't many things these mechs and femmes aren't used to but warmth and love is one fo them.

The hatred single mothers get is wild to me. Because it reveals so much about motherhood and how mothers are viewed in society. Because one minute, women are told “Your happiest days are when you become a mother!” Or “Being a mother is natural for women and what god intended” but the second she’s a mother without a husband or partner, her and her child will be ostracized, shunned, and even be discriminated against.
It’s even wilder too because you could literally be the best mother on earth but because you’re single, society literally salivates at the idea of you and your child failing because that’s what’s expected and they want you to be another statistic for them to use as an example of why women should be married and settle down (Because it always leads to this conclusion 🙄)
Another thing that opened my eyes to this was when I saw men complaining about how undesirable they think single mothers are, and while it’s perfectly fine to not want to date someone with kids, it always felt weird to hear men say “She’s a single mom? That’s why no man will want her!” or “You’re a single mom? Your market value has dropped because men don’t want that”. I remember a guy said this to me as he was trying to give reasons why single mothers are bad, and I asked, “What does her being desirable to you have to do with her parenting?” He couldn’t give me a straight answer because it would just reveal that society doesn’t actually care about mothers or children but rather a woman and a child’s ties to a man. And this is the type of thinking you get when you live in a society that says women should serve men and children should serve adults.
And I’m saying this as someone raised by a single mother. Growing up, I never saw my mom being single as a problem, I didn’t even know it was a problem. She did a great job raising me and my sister and I look back fondly on my childhood but when I got older that’s when I’d start to hear the messaging “Single moms are bad”, which always confused me. My mom was great, even when she got married, it didn’t magically change her. She was still the same yet people were more positive when I talked about my mom and stepdad meanwhile just saying my mom often got pitied looks or people trying to project all these statistics and stereotypes about single moms onto her . But anytime someone would tell me she needed a man, it was either for things she was already providing me or just because that’s what was expected.
Funny enough, these same people who hated my single mom would see a two parent household, where the families are toxic or even abusive but never had that same vitriol they had for my mom. Hell, these people would make excuses for these couples and even warn them against divorcing because “Divorce is evil! It’s bad for the kids! Stay together for the kids!”

Her powerful conservative politician husband, stole her property, had her sent to prison, and subjected to humiliating strip searches when she filed grievances at government offices, but this Mexican Feminist, advocate for single mothers, refused to be intimidated, no matter what outfit she was wearing. She proved that whatever patriarchy might wish, women are still a threat even in their underwear.
Martha Patricia Romero García arrived early at the Government Palace of Veracruz during the "Open Doors Mondays" citizen assistance program. She undressed, leaving only her underwear, in protest against the slow progress of ministerial investigations and to demand help because her husband had stripped her of her belongings.
Slowly, she removed her clothing in front of the Secretary of Government's desk and shouted that the Attorney General's Office had ignored her complaints.
"I have to do this for them to listen to me, for them to see me. Do you want to vote for PAN (National Action Party)? Why? So they can destroy single mothers," she shouted, accusing her husband Felipe de Jesús Saldaña, an alleged member of the PAN, of also wanting to take away their daughter.
"Do you think the PAN has the right to mock everyone? And if you claim to be PAN supporters, do you think PAN is good? Well, let me tell you, they are a bunch of sons of b..., sellouts who abuse all single and unprotected women," she added.
The woman explained that her husband had stripped her of all her belongings, and her salary of seven thousand pesos, which she earns at the Ministry of Finance and Planning, is not enough for her to survive.
The dissatisfied woman denounced that her husband, "in collusion with PAN leaders," has done everything to ruin her by accusing her of defamation, which led her to prison in 2007. She was subjected to various abuses in prison. And her prison record was used as an excuse to subject her to strip searches whenever she entered official government buildings, so she could not hide any "dangerous materials" in her clothing.
In a courageous act of resistance and defiance, Martha Patricia Romero García, a strong-willed woman, decided to break free from the clutches of an oppressive marriage to Felipe de Jesús Saldaña, a prominent figure in the conservative PAN (National Action Party). With unwavering determination, she confronted the unjust treatment and abuse she endured, refusing to be silenced any longer.
Standing before the world, Martha boldly questioned the authority of the PAN and its supporters. Her words resonated with the frustration and anger felt by countless women who have suffered under the oppressive grip of patriarchal power structures.
Martha's ordeal extended beyond emotional abuse and psychological manipulation. Her powerful conservative husband subjected her to humiliating strip searches whenever she visited the government building to file her complaints. Stripped down to her underwear, she experienced the dehumanizing tactics employed to suppress her voice and deter her from seeking justice. But Martha refused to be intimidated. She saw through the façade of control and emerged stronger, ready to challenge the system that had allowed such mistreatment to persist.
Her decision to make a defiant feminist stand for the rights of single mothers was nothing short of inspiring. In an act of symbolic resistance, Martha shed her clothes, standing tall and unapologetic in nothing but her bra and panties. It was a powerful statement, reclaiming her autonomy and demanding recognition for the struggles faced by single mothers everywhere.
Martha's bravery has shed light on the urgent need for change within conservative power structures. Her story serves as a rallying cry for justice, urging society to confront the abuse and discrimination faced by single mothers. Her determination to challenge the authoritarian government demonstrates the strength of women who refuse to be silenced and demand equality.

No matter their sexes, some people live stupid lives and shove it to your eyes. You see how emotion-driven mindless losers they are and how they gamble with their life and pay the toll. They may be the woman at work you like, your sister, your neighbour man next door... Of course it's not our job to judge people but, you know being exposed to all this nonsense makes you angry, because life is already hard.
I am angry at this type of people, not women.

Sometimes I wish we had more sites just for finding non-romantic house partners.
So many single mothers could have shared an house with each other to raise the kids/paid the bills together.
So many older single people wish they had someone to go back to, to tell about their day, to aid with the house and all the rest.
Its can be a platonic life-partner(s) someone you spend your life with, or just for a long period of time, but with no sexual/romantic feelings.
Aro/Aces, divorced and old people (especially widows) are also included into this.
And it helps fight the loneliness too. I know by personal experience what it can do to people, its hurts. Living with friends can help so much.
This also reminds me about that post about communities, nuclear families and capitalism.
