#original post #mtg #aetherdrift #custom magic card #i think aetherdrift would be really cool with more cameo mechanics. give each team some more hometown flavor #and my immediate thought went to the idea of a kylem pilot/vehicle partner pair #(i considered giving one or both cycling to play with the tutor to hand aspect but decided against it)#so i made this pair to go in my aetherdrift booster #that had two problems though #1. it took up two card slots as opposed to just one #and 2. doing a cameo mechanic at common was dubious but i think to make this viable in draft it needs to be common #since you're not gonna get both in one pack always like you do in battlebond #(also i think a partner pair in draft that you're *not* guaranteed to draft together is interesting)
