the ultimate cringefest stations of canon fic is very likely the “canon cast reacts to the source material of their canon” fics or ReactFics for short
but man is it such a guilty pleasure to read 😭
#theres so much potential to it tho#since its basically a type of clairvoyance into ppl's pasts and eventually future#so everyone watching it would now be operating under those new knowledge#especially if certain misunderstandings are lifted because motivations/thoughts are now on screen#but most of the time its just an excuse to have author do quips with whats 'onscreen' via convenient characters#or they bog down the 'react' part of the plot with too much side content
