It was time for the annual Valentine’s day, the celebration of romance and romantic love in many regions around the thousand seas. At the end of the banquet, the Straw Hat captain had mysteriously said that his present was left to the kitchen so he headed there. He stayed here for a while so obviously it was weird like he was preparing for something bigger. Curiosity must’ve woken up. 

Once entering the kitchen’s threshold, one could immediately pay attention that there were a few candles giving warmth and light, a wine bottle was waiting to be poured and no one else in the room. Somewhere outside, Brook was playing a smooth tune with his violin as the sun was slowly setting down. It almost felt like everything was perfectly planned, pretty hard to believe from a guy who is basically a kid from the heart? But what if he had grown on these past years and starts to show maturity and interest in romance?

In this cozy room, their eyes met once he noticed that the door was opened. He waved friendly and asked to close her eyes with a smirk on his face. One could hear his flip flops coming closer slowly. Then out of nowhere and unexpected, he gave her a kiss, then another. Those famous bite-sized, flat-bottomed, conical-shaped pieces of chocolates, a bag of these treats. 

“Happy Friend’s day~!” he said and chuckled and then went outside from the door, searching for the rest of his crew since he had bought a bag for each of them. As expected, he really had not planned any romantic, this just accidentally seemed like one of those scenes that could’ve been read from sweet novels. 

Actually, it was all just a funny coincidence since that wine bottle just happened to be left from their banquet and the candles were also left from the party. Luffy wasn’t even in the kitchen alone the whole time. While he was looking for the lost presents he had hidden (and forgot their location), Sanji had carried the dishes back and just happened to be outside cleaning with the others at that moment when Nami went to check the kitchen.
