In the original The Lion King (1994) movie, Scar's nose bridge is darker than the rest of his fur for the first half of the movie (as shown here).

But in the second half of the movie, during Simba's return + the battle scene and everything surrounding, his nose bridge is a light toned gradient, colour-matched to the rest of his muzzle (as shown here).

There are several reasons this could be. Could have been an unintentional design change mid-movie and nobody noticed, or that it was meant to look like greying hairs around his muzzle, to show that he had aged! Who knows! (Someone probably does, but it isn't me)

#wiki got to witness me noticing this in real time earlier because i've been scouring movie clips for good reference images #since i'm doing full tlk character redesigns. and when i got to that image i was like. hey wait a minute. i fucking Know his nose bridge was #DARKER. i was even mad about it because Kovu's was lighter and Zira's was darker and I couldn't find a way to make that specific trait make #sense what with the family tree i have going on. but yeah his nose bridge is Lighter for the full second half of the movie and Darker for #the full first half. it's really weird #ive been asked #ask game
