That day's material for testing was stronger than expected
Boss, somewhat dejected, after the third failure to kill the sample: I'm going to look for bigger weights. Me, at the same time, in the same tone of voice: I'm going to get a wrench.
#veresiine irl#lab adventures#I think this was from when we were doing dart drop testing#anyway my role was to tighten the holder/clamp#since I'm too short to reach the required height to drop the missile from (top of the guiding tube)#hand-tight no longer worked hence needing a wrench#in the end we needed such large weights on the missile and such tightness in the clamps that the apparatus broke#the sample remained#it was like 50 mil thick woven PE#at least the client was happy
