Finally drafting something for this. Have a snippet from the first story, featuring the Moon Prince and the journey of death:

In the way that I have known tomorrow will always come (until it doesn’t) or that Antarctica exists, I have known that the expanse of space is vast and endless. That is to say, intellectually. But to know something as rote is to take it for granted—to know something intrinsically is to know it holistically and spiritually.

Once I had known that space was vast. Now my Knowing is an understanding—a sensation like yearning. A clawing to hold onto something infinite and finite, possible and impossible; to join and disperse within one unquantified moment.

What is the Lodestar Cycle?

Stories about existence; death, memory, time. A love letter to space. Told through the eyes of the otherworldly beings of those domains. POVs vary.

How often is the Cycle updated?

When I feel like it. From time-to-time, my ADHD needs a dopamine hit from a low-commitment and novel project. Sometimes, I’m just feeling inspired. Think of these stories as vignettes within the same universe.

Who is the author?

An agender grown-up just trying to find some nourishment in this world.
