joker 2 getting bad reviews is so disappointing namely because if i made a dark edgy alternate backstory movie for connor then in the sequel decided to introduce beckett, an unreliable, non-diegetic jukebox musical from an especially mentally ill beckett's point of view is exactly what i would do. they're supposed to be letting me daydream about that hello it can't be bad
