Our son says for the swing arm of tube steel you can build it you cut the swingarm pieces you have two straight pieces with angled ends and then a short piece like 5 in Long on both sides with angles on both ends and it goes inwards so you're tired and rim and your sprocket will still line up with the motor but on the inside it goes in for about 5 in and it's thinner it's only about 4 inches of space it has a cross arm that you mount the shock on and that piece has a stitch on it too the swing on this one by two the cross on this one by two and the stitch would be a saddle mounted on the top and the barbarian circular piece the ball bearing circular tube would have a square TS around it and it would be pulled in and stitched in with the adhesive and you pack the bearings in yourself and that would be attached to the end box of your swingarm they look kind of different there be two boxes at the very end and the reason for that is if you use one box there's no way to attach it except for two flimsy connections when you put it at the end you can put a full stitched piece it's like an insert it goes on both inserts into both ends from the cross piece at the end and then it inserts into the ends of the two horizontal members coming from the rear so it's very sturdy then you bolt the stitched on and you have a special saddle that detaches to the swing arm ball bearing TS with tube inside and there's there's a particular connection that works real well this one is just like a standard saddle and that will work there's one that's a saddle and it has another angle that goes down but you can't get it on he says which is true so you have to use just two regular saddles but he said you saddle the other side of it and this is just sort of work so really you are using two sandals and one is larger you come from the rear and you bolt that on and it's all stitch glued. That tackles the problem of the swing arm the rest of it is the same thing the angles in the connections are pretty much the same thing we have some shops that made one and they kept an extra pieces they made a few more and said these are really easy to make they made a jig for drilling the holes and tapping and dying and said it's so easy I almost want to bolted together right now and they both together a few and the frames are so sturdy it hurts and the metal you use for the saddle doesn't have to be massively thick it's a little less than a quarter and the frame is a quarter most of the frame is one by one we have a lot of people who are making these and we're starting to make them and it's going to be huge it's going to be gigantic so we're going through the records and see her son is trying stuff and we're trying to figure out what to do and something's working some don't and he's thinking you can't name it Harley but you can name it Davies and it's trying to think of what to name it and Hera said Davey's harlequin it's kind of like a clown bike but it looks like one and you said that's pretty cool we can make it look like evil Knievel's bike later on and she said that's really nice so we're going to try and do it it looks a little odd the frame is kind of square and it's level with the ground that's about 5 inches up it's not really wide but you put the motor on and it looks a little silly like John Cena chopper. We have a lot riding on this and this is a great idea and to change it's better and we're going to try and get Harley-Davidson going up a little more right now we're building them in our area and we don't have the turn off thing and we took out the fuses fairly soon we'll get a new motor going because their motor is a hassle to build and it's too big and too heavy and the gears are too heavy they're frankly it doesn't look that good cuz the motor's gigantic it's stuffed in there and the frames are not really sturdy enough to hold that much weight the brakes and everything else heats up so we might go with this idea of making a evolution too and we're going to use the good steel they're using different but not different we don't want to make too many advances so we're going to go ahead and do that he likes the idea because we can sell the motor aftermarket and then we'll start selling our Harleys and we're going to name it Daveys Harley motors. It says it probably can't get away with that so we'll have to call it Davies Harlequin motors and we're going ahead with it it'll have some motors because we don't have them and we use the lawn mowers and it's going to be exciting and he also says this these Harley Quinn motorcycles are going to be used so you take apart the ride on lawn mower and we do something with the chassis and you go to the motor and test it clean it and put oil new plug and you sell it as a used motor from the company and people are crap in their pants because it's really what they need and we're going to we're going to start doing that it's a great idea

We're going to clean them up but I don't think we should paint them it'll take too much time and money and check the seals they check it to see if it's any good pressure test and we have some examinations and and put in new oil and a plug and it's good and heck that's a great idea I'm up for this and with each kid that we sell we put in the proper kit to install it on the bike there comes disassemble so people wouldn't trust it but they think it's their own and they're going to buy it and I'm going to do this now

favorite thing about them: I think what I like the most about Jack is the contrast between him and Soldier 76. He went from a guy who really had the best intentions and was just beaten down until he didn’t feel like it was worth it to get up in the morning. I dunno, I think he has more going on than people give him credit for because he fits that “white hero dude” archetype, but that doesn’t mean he has to be boring.

I mean, that accent? Brilliant! Hamilton is one of the reasons why I love this movie. He is a delight to watch and I just love the way he talks. This is why he wants to find Miss Sondheim. A lot of the comedy comes from this contrast.ĭracula’s also very much aware of his age (712 years) and is actually starting to get a little bit bored. He’s charming, suave, and very much of the “old school,” which becomes apparent when he arrives in New York. Hamilton might not be the most obvious choice to play an undead creature of the night, but he does it with gusto. The Count is played by George Hamilton ( Doc Hollywood, Evil Knievel). “ Without me, Transylvania will be as exciting as Bucharest… on a Monday night!” He leaves his former castle and the townspeople with one of my favorite lines from the movie: So, Drac decides to go to New York to find Cindy Sondheim, who he believes is a reincarnation of his long lost love. Of course, the Count objects, but they townspeople refuse to listen and tell him to take his aristocratic shit and split. They are there to take the castle from the Count and turn it into a training facility for gymnasts. After he’s glanced at the pictures, of course! No, the magazine he wants is a fashion one featuring his favorite model, Cindy Sondheim, which he takes with him down to the crypt again.Ī short while later, the pair get a visit from a couple of representatives from the Romanian government, along with the whole town in tow. Renfield hands him a bunch of “girlie-mags”, all of which the Count calls smut and filth, and throws them on the fire. When Renfield appears, the Count reminds him that the blood should always be body-temperature and then asks for his magazines. He pours himself a glass of blood from a bottle and, with a disgusted look on his face, calls for his bumbling moron of a servant, Renfield. Count Vladimir Dracula has just risen from his slumber and is slowly climbing the stairs to his candle-lit chambers for a little drink. We see a dark castle shrouded in a thin mist, which is even present down in the dark crypt where a coffin is slowly opening. Well, at least it is at the start of the movie. I even like the winter… if it’s cold and snowy that is! Rain and sludge is not my cup of tea and can be skipped entirely. And the summer with its warm lovely evenings. Yes, boils and ghouls, fall is here, and I love it!ĭon’t get me wrong, because I like all the seasons… spring, where everything comes to life again. You can almost taste it, can’t you? Built to Spill Live Preview: 8/18-8/19, Thalia Hall, Chicago

“You feel the wind at your back / It makes you feel so bold / But when the wind forgets your name / The world can be so cold,” sings Doug Martsch on “Elements”, a swaying standout from Built to Spill’s upcoming When The Wind Forgets Your Name (Sub Pop). It’s an appropriate sentiment after which to name the album, a collection of songs about trying to capture a sense of familiarity and empathy. For us, that warm acquaintanceship comes from the band’s trademark chug full of drippy, reverb-soaked guitars, Martsch’s falsetto, and meaty bass and drum fills. Though Built to Spill now consists of Prism Bitch’s Teresa Esguerra on drums and Blood Lemon’s Melanie Radford on bass, When The Wind Forgets Your Name was recorded with its previous incarnation,  Lê Almeida and João Casaes. The two recorded bass and drum tracks with Martsch in Boise, then Martsch overdubbed guitar and vocals, and the three collaborated virtually on mixing. The result is a classic rock-sounding record, at times short and sweet and at times meandering and expansive.

Of course, Martsch is always concerned with the intangible. On “Gonna Lose”, a song whose namesake refrain is reminiscent of one of the band’s greatest songs, Martsch sings, “What could be more disorienting / Than being on acid in a dream?”, his guitars following his lead as he chants the second sentence, giving power to the layered confusion inherent in dreaming about hallucination. Further lyrics of surreal fantasy pervade the album on songs like the mellotron-imbued “Fool’s Gold” and “Understood”; even if the latter references Evil Knievel’s failed stunt in Martsch’s hometown of Twin Falls, ID, a line like, “It’s been a long time since we took a trip / To the bottom of a canyon in a rocket ship,” fits well within Built to Spill’s altered zones. “But really, I don’t know,” he eventually sighs, an evergreen statement of humility from one of the music world’s finest dreamers.

Impressively, Built to Spill find room to explore on When The Wind Forgets Your Name. As this version of the band was built out of the need for a Brazilian touring band before it became the version of the band to play further and record, they delve into reggae and dub (“Rocksteady”) and even bossa nova rhythms (“Never Alright”.) Elsewhere on “Elements”, Martsch sings as the rest of the music drops out, “Up in the sky / Another world abounds / And I don’t know just what it means / But I like the way it sounds.” The line is apropos of Built to Spill’s instrumentation in 2022. On sludgy, storming closer “Comes A Day”, Martsch sings, “How can you still complain / There’s no reason to explain / What we all go through is not the same.” Approaching music with the same sense of confident decency is why the band continues to melt hearts and minds.

Built to Spill plays Thalia Hall tonight and tomorrow night. Prism Bitch and Boise rock band Papas open. Doors at 7 PM, show at 8.

A paper airplane (1x19)... that Happy "saved” (or a new one she made in memory of the rooftop moment)... that she also keeps in that “keepsakes box” of hers. 

The “box of hexnuts” & the “wrench bouquet” Toby gave her as an apology in 1x20. That she’s kept all along (after salvaging them from the trash bin). - they could be in her “keepsakes box” or just in a drawer somewhere... 

The dollhouse Toby gave Happy as a present in 2x04 (to “replace” the one her dad gave her when she was 2. The one they worked on together in season 2 & the one they’re gonna give their child as a present) -- it’s gotta be stocked in the extra room in their home..for now
