I was looking for a different quote, but this low-key validates my thoughts and predictions on Sansa's Vale arc
#sansa stark#asoiaf#Sansa being the first named character to have her title change + w/ TWOW it's likely she'll have the most chapters w/ a single identity#is all interesting considering LF's manipulation and her way of coping is a perfect storm for her to /lose/ herself in a new identity#she's slowly going deeper and deeper into /Alayne's/ identity and relying on/trusting LF more as time goes on#makes me think that something big is coming to the vale to shake her out of it and think of herself as /Sansa/ again#unlike other characters she also has actual external conditions that make it difficult for her to resume her identity since she's wanted#for kingslaying which is going to make escaping from LF difficult...I think it's something that will make her hesitant to act#I do think that as long as LF is pretending to act for her benefit she'll be under her thumb so the moment she starts figuring out his plan#or he starts letting things slip is when we'll be getting her breaking out of her persona#it'll be very interesting to read cause there are so many ways the vale plot could go#I think there's a chance LF influenced Sansa on the Tourney and it's part of his actual scheme so something's happening there#whether it's LF's plan or his plan being disrupted by the mountain clans potentially attacking
