Anyway because avatar studios is planning a new animated series on the new earth avatar after Korra, i won't ever continue writing the story of my OC earth avatar so here's his story summed up (mind you i started writing this in 2014, after korra ended, before the kyoshi novels, i have the proof on my laptop to back this up, the manuscript's original date is 2014. so no, i did not steal the "avatar is an orphan and therefore no one knows who the avatar is" from the kyoshi novels, my work was never published, not even on fanfic websites so it is purely a coincidence my 15yr old brain came up with the same idea of FC Yee)

Main character is Shen (originally Chang but stopped liking that name in 2019) born in Ba Sing Se, dropped off the door of a non bender couple when he was two months old. Shen grows up thinking he is a non bender. The adoptive parents have one biological daughter after Shen, the father ends up being a dead beat and leaves when Shen is 9

Because his adoptive parents are non benders, they find out Shen's an earth bender embarrassingly late, when he's 14

Shen's family lives in the lower ring and can't really afford actual earth bending lessons, so they rely on their kind neighbor who is a farmer, and teaches Shen the basics

One night, Shen's mother forgets to put out a candle. Shen discovers this when he goes downstairs for some water. As he goes to snuff the candle, he realizes it grew as he got closer. He played around with the flame, and ended up holding the fire in his hands. He then runs outside to the farmland in the outer ring where he trains earthbending, where no one can see him, and firebends. This way he discovers he is the avatar at age 15

Shen keeps this a secret. He does not want to be the avatar. He fears if he reveals himself, powerful people from all around the world will try to take him away from his family, and try to push their political agenda on him. He mainly fears the Earth King, who's been causing political tension with the Northern Watertribe and Fire Nation since he inherited the throne, and has been "unifying" the Earth Kingdom whilst simultaneously taking land from the Fire Nation and Watertribe.

The absence of the avatar made these tensions worse, the king has been desperately trying to find the avatar and hasn't gotten anywhere. The Fire Nation and Watertribe think the king is incompetent and want to start the search themselves, but the king won't allow it. Even the air nomads are trying to get the king to allow them to search, but he refuses.

At age 16 Shen, his mother and sister move away from Ba Sing Se to a small harbor town in the southern Earth Kingdom. Shen starts a new school and meets a boy named Yahno, who's father hails from the Northern Watertribe, but his mother is from Republic City. He also meets Ji-min, and airnomad girl who is a descendant of avatar Aang. They moved to the town because her mother was banished from the Eastern Airtemple. At school he meets a girl named Chō, a firebender that has Earth Kingdom nationality and likes to dye her hair bright red.

The friends tell him about their classmate Uma. She was adopted, no one knows her actual birthday. She is an exceptional earthbender, which is why she believes she is the next avatar. She treats it as fact, and uses the title to hold power over others. During their first PE lessons (where benders are encouraged to train their elements) she bullies Shen about his lackluster earthbending skills

Shen and Yahno go sailing with Yahno's waterbender dad, who takes them out of the bay in the open ocean, however they are taken by surprise by a storm. Shen accidentally activates the Avatar state on instinct and saves them from drowning. Yahno and his dad vow to keep Shen's secret, as they know what the Earth King would do to get his hands on him.

The king declares a final nationwide search for the avatar. The earth king is a truth seer (Toph's ability to detect lies), he decides to use this ability because he suspects the Avatar knows their own identity and is hiding it. Shen tries to half truth his way out, but ultimately fails due to a trick the king pulled on him, making him firebend in front of everyone. Shen gets revealed to the king, and with that the world.

Firelord Kaen, who recently ascended the throne after the untimely death of his father at age 19, meets the young Avatar in secret. Shen is apprehensive, which Kaen understands. They end their conversation with mutual appreciation, since both are teenagers in position of power.

Shen starts his Avatar training. When he enters the spirit world through Republic City's portal for the first time he finally meets Korra, and she has to sheepishly admit to Shen that she'll be his only guide. There's no connection to any of the other past lives due to the new cycle.

Shen has the most trouble learning waterbending. He doesn't know how to let his emotions flow like water, which is blocking him from getting a true feeling for the element. He masters earth, fire and air relatively quickly, but water refuses to budge for him.

This is about as far as I got writing wise. In the second half of the story a time skip was planned so Shen would be a young adult instead of a teen. He'd get badly hurt during an assassination attempt at age 18 (airship he was on got blown up) and go missing for five years making people believe he's dead and thus reborn in the firenation. He joins a pirate crew bc he has amnesia after getting badly wounded, but once he regains his memory as he's healed he keeps his identity secret again. That is until he literally sees the earth king attack the fire nation and he reveals himself to his pirate friends and contacts his old friends to take down the earth king. Also a romance of sorts would develop between Shen and Kaen (which is another reason for the timeskip lol like an 18yr old and a 21yr old sounds weirder than a 23yr old and a 26yr old idk) then i'd explore the complications of an Avatar, who's supposed to be neutral and unbiased, falling in love with a leader of one of the four nations.

Either way i was never gonna finish this story anyway bc i suck at thinking of complex political plotlines and problems for the avatar to solve to include in my story lmao. I do have some chapters that are finished writing wise but they're not in order bc I'm the type of writer that just writes the chapter they want to write without caring where it takes place in the story, which admittedly isn't a great strategy but eh it's not like I'm a published writer, it's mostly for my own enjoyment

“girl, what was that look sunghoon just gave to you and jay?” their friend, min-su interrupted with a gasp.

“wow, you’re actually away from heeseung?” y/n snorted a laugh while the girl rolled her eyes. “shut the fuck up. did you see sunghoon give you that look??”

“i think someone’s jealous.. i mean- who said that?” dae joked. the four cracked out laughs as they remained further away from the members.

“you don’t think he could be..?”

“girl i wouldn’t be surprised.” ji-woo said with an eyebrow raise.

“mm.. no, i don’t think so. maybe he just wanted to talk to niki. i don’t think he’s jealous…”

“you know what, y/n?” dae called, heads turning to the boy who had a smug grin. “maybe you should just talk to sunghoon.”

y/n rolled her eyes. “bitch, you know that it’s hard for me to do that!”

as min-su was about to give her input with a dirty joke in mind, heeseung intervened with an arm slinging around her. “sorry to break this group huddle, but can i steal my girlfriend?”

“you always steal her from us.”

“sorry but i just want to be around my baby on my special day.”

the others fake gagged at the comment. “yes, yes, just take her and go away, geez birthday boy.” y/n said with an appalled look plastered.

the boy grinned at her words; the obvious displeased tone deafening out in his ears as his attention went to his girlfriend, dragging her away from the group.

“love, come here for a second?” jake called out to ji-woo. she looked back at her two friends who still had the same disgusted look. “oh, just go ji-woo!” y/n yelled, pushing her away so she could reunite with her partner. “you should go too, dae. jungwon looks sad without you.”

“but what about you!”

y/n’s lips curled into a soft smile. “i’ll be fineee. just go to your boyfriend like they did!”

the boy remained persistent in staying with her, though eventually leaving for his boyfriend as well once y/n confirmed it’d really be okay.

she sighed at the sight in front of her; all of her friends with their lovers while sunghoon was near niki and sunoo. her eyes stayed on him for a few seconds, heart thumping just from the admiration of how gorgeous he was. eventually, they wandered to where jay’s figure could be, which was in the kitchen of course.

“hey jay,” y/n softly beamed.

he greeted back with a smile — “hey y/n” —attention still persistent on the marinated meat for dinner.

“can i help?”

jay gave a playful laughing scoff at her words. “wouldn’t you rather be in the living room with niki and them?”

she shook her head. “i don’t really have anything to do, and i feel a little bad that you’re doing it all by yourself honestly.”

“alright, if you wanna help then you can put some gloves on and mix the marinade.”

y/n complied with excitement surging through and soon began helping the male with dinner preparations.

as long minutes passed, she continued to work around the kitchen with him. meanwhile, the couples stayed in their own spaces while the remaining three played on the shared nintendo switch.

“y/n, don’t do that!” jay yelled from the kitchen, her loud cackles of laughter immediately intensifying after.

“what could be so funny over there?” sunghoon mumbled under his breath. a scoff left his mouth as his hands tightly gripped on the controller.

“you that jealous?” niki snorted.

the older male rolled his eyes as he felt envy starting to build up. “no.. why would i be? y/n’s too young for me.”

“your excuses are becoming worse, hyung.”

sunoo let out a laugh at niki’s words — “they really are, why can’t you just admit that you like the girl?”

hoon’s eyes slightly widened. “shut up! don’t say that too loud; dae, min-su, and ji-woo are literally near us.” he harshly whispered to the maknaes.

“they’re lost in their own world, hoon. seriously, look at them and tell me they’re not in their own world with our members.” niki remarked with a laugh.

“you could be like that with y/n too, just saying.” said sunoo with a devilish smile.

“it doesn’t seem like she even likes me. she always ignores me and doesn’t talk much to me when she can clearly talk well with jay or you guys. seems like she likes him more to be honest.” his head darted towards the male in the kitchen who was still chuckling and being playful with her.

“maybe you just haven’t taken in the fact that you guys are both introverted?? and maybe she doesn’t know how to talk to you because you barely respond back?” sunoo replied.

hoon let out a sigh at his members’ words. “I don’t know..”

“you overthink this too much, hyung. i heard from someone that she’s literally been in love with you for so long! also, how have you guys not talked much when you’re in the same friend group?” responded niki.

sunghoon’s heart immediately raced at the potential thought of his crush liking him back; blocking out the question asked. “does she really..?” he bit his lip as he awaited for a response, only to be interrupted.

“i’m gonna be grilling outside but we also have a pool, so if you guys want to go for a swim, you guys can!” jay yelled.

everybody grinned at each other, racing out of the back door to swim in the said pool.

splashes of laughter were heard in the air as everybody swam in the cooling water.

y/n remained persistent near the shallower parts of the pool while the rest splashed around. ji-woo attempted to stay near as well but could only be pulled into the deep water by her determined boyfriend.

dae was with jungwon, giving soft squeaks of laughter as they were sweetly playful. from time to time, y/n could hear the sound of their laughs tangling in the air with soft music exuding in the back.

min-su and heeseung were in the pool as well, but would always go back to singing their favored songs that’d echo aloud. followed by ji-woo and jake softly humming along.

y/n took in the sight in front of her again. her eyes followed each of her friends and the joyous moments they were experiencing. something she wanted to experience.

she softened at what she was observing. her friends have truly never been this happy and she loved it.

“hey, you okay?” a familiar voice said, snapping her into reality.

“hm? oh hey, hoon.” she nervously replied.

he beamed a half smile as he took a seat next to her. “they look pretty happy, don’t they?” y/n turned her head to respond back but paused.

he was observing just like her. she fought back a smile as her eyes twinkled with affection. “yeah.. they do. i’m so glad they all found their other halves.” she said in admiration.

“now it’s just your turn huh?” sunghoon gently turned his head to look back at her. his demeanor was softer than she was used to, and it made her heart flutter.

she cleared her throat and looked away. “we’ll see what the universe plans for me” — her voice almost weak from his simple question.

“almost sunghoon’s time isn’t it?” niki suddenly boomed.

y/n’s brows curiously furrowed at the boy who swam near them. “it is?” she stupidly questioned.

“yeah.. sunghoon’s been talking to mei. isn’t that right, hyung?” his eyebrows wiggled around playfully. the obvious teasing tone of getting the poor girl jealous wasn’t clear enough as she felt her heart sink. her mind went blank as everything else became a numbing pain.

suddenly finding it hard to breathe, she stood from where she was and laughed off the heavy feeling. “oh that’s right sunghoon, how is it with her so far?”

her attempt to look fine was a success as hoon didn’t notice the sudden change in becoming tense. “oh.. mei? it’s fine.. i haven’t talked to her in a while.” he mewled out.

it was like taking one step forward and three steps backwards. their moment of potentially being more had been ruined; and with the thought of mei in mind, it seemed like everything had taken a pause.

y/n swallowed the lump in her throat as she forced the tears away. “well uhm, i should go to dae and them. i wanna see if they’re tired of being in the pool yet.” she stood from where she was, feeling her legs become like jelly as her lips trembled from holding in the pain.

the heartbroken girl walked away with deep breaths. she fought the urge to breakdown and cry, leaving niki and sunghoon in the shallow water.

hoon let out a slightly frustrated sigh. “what was that, niki??” his brows pushed together in an irritating way.

“sorry… i thought it’d help..”

the maknae mewled out another sorry before leaving to sunoo.

y/n let out another deep breath before arriving to dae and jungwon at the other end of the pool.

“hey guys,” she gently said.

her shaky voice had apparently became noticeable as dae stopped his movements to carefully look at his friend. “what’s wrong y/n??”

in an instant second, her eyes watered at the question. ‘fuck!’ she mentally cursed to herself. “i knew it was a bad idea going to you, dae!” she yelled before speed walking away.

“WHAT? Y/N COME BACK.”

he followed after her, catching min-su and ji-woo’s attention as well. the loud questioning of ‘is she okay’ came to mind as they all followed behind and left their significant others.

“guys it’s fine!” the girl tried to defend.

“girl you’re on the brink of tears. what happened? are you okay?” min-su said.

“uhm.. yeah…” her voice cracked as she softly smiled at the aching feeling.

“stop lying!” ji-woo yelled.

y/n broke out another smile as she admired how caring her friends were. “it’s fine guys.. seriously! i’ll tell you when we’re not surrounded by them.. but let’s go back. i don’t want them to wonder why we’re having our own group talk.”

“girl if sunghoon made you cry, you just let me know.” the dimpled girl threatened.

everybody giggled in unison as the other two agreed. eventually, they all went back to their significant others while y/n decided to stay near jay. she couldn’t stand being a third wheel, and sunoo had remained around niki and sunghoon; so jay was her best choice.

“you’re really not gonna go in the pool?” asked the boy who was barbecuing.

“i can’t swim jay.” she replied back with a head shake.

“oh that’s right… seems like hoon can’t swim either.” the name call caught her attention and almost immediately, her eyes landed on the 5’11 boy.

sunghoon continued to stay around the shallow parts of the pool where he was before. her heart stopped for a moment as the repeating words of him and mei were in her head.

“that’s funny,” she mumbled.

jay’s face scrunched at her monotoned voice. “if you don’t think it’s funny, you don’t have to say it is.”

her lips curled into a soft smile. “no i didn’t mean it like that jay, geez.” she rolled her eyes as he smiled as well, turning his attention back onto the grill.

“how are you and hoon though?”

“shut up, i don’t want to talk about him right now.”

“so you guys are going through something then hm?”

“jay.. please.”

he widely grinned at her plead. “fine, i’ll let it go.” she beamed a ‘thanks’ before changing the topic to something for both of their liking.

from time to time, sunghoon turned his head to see how they were easily conversing. he let out an annoyed scoff. “maybe she does like him..” his hands clenched in fists as the continuous words that fell out of sunoo and niki’s mouths were drowned out by jealousy.

after long minutes passed, dinner was finally ready. throughout the various conversations everybody had, hoon and y/n had none together. in fact, they didn’t even look at each other. a few glances would be made to each other but other than that, no one dared to make a peep.

when dinner had finished, a cake had been brought out to celebrate heeseung’s birthday. a bright smile was plastered onto his face as his girlfriend stuck by his side.

loud laughs and joyous occasions were shared upon one another. everybody sang happy birthday to the boy who was contented enough for a cake.

when the long day had come to an end, everybody found themselves settled into the living room with warm blankets and soft smiles.

little murmurs of “this was so fun!” and “we gotta do this again” were heard before all had passed out for the remaining night. all except y/n.

she stepped out to the backyard after making sure everyone fell asleep. a sigh left her mouth as the heavy feeling in her chest came back. “fuck..” she whispered, after situating herself in the same seat of the shallow pool, letting her legs dip in. her breath hitched while inhaling another breath of air. she thought to herself that she shouldn’t be this bothered about someone who wasn’t hers.

“you okay?” the low voice said, shocking her as she immediately recognized who it was.

y/n subtly sniffled her snot back inside before looking at the direction of the voice. her heart dropped just by looking at him.

“you’re awake hoon?”

her voice weakened as he awkwardly chuckled while taking a seat next to her.

“i saw you come outside so i just wanted to see if you were okay.”

she nodded at his explanation. “i’m fine..” but she wasn’t. and it seemed like her excuse wasn’t convincing enough, but hoon let it go.

it had become awkward and tense too soon. they had always slightly been like this, but it only seemed to intensify this time.

sunghoon took a deep breath, wondering if it was something he should say but he had to know.

“do you like jay?”

his question was sudden and it had y/n whipping her head to him.

“i’m sorry?”

“sorry that was sudden.. but is jay the one you like?”

she kept her eyes on him in search for how he meant his tone to be but he couldn’t even look at her. the awkward boy was too scared to even say such a thing.

“why would i like jay?”

“well.. you seem to enjoy being around him and… seems like he likes you back too.”

y/n eyes closed at the tightness in her chest. she liked him. how could he not see that?

“i don’t, sunghoon. and i’m sure he doesn’t like me back either.” she confirmed with a gulp. her gaze observed how soft his body language had become.

“i uhm,…” the girl paused for a moment. she felt her heart in her throat as the conflicting thought of confessing tortured her. “.. i don’t like anyone right now..”

the searing pain in her heart increased as she mentally cursed to herself. she wanted to tell him that he was all she’d been thinking about, but how could she when she remembered he was talking to someone like mei?

“oh.. okay.” — was all hoon could mutter. he was pleased and yet, somehow still devastated. she backed off of confessing and he didn’t even realize it.

it was then that things got quiet. they didn’t know what else to say to each other after the sudden call out.

their eyes remained to stare at the starry night that had come upon them. perhaps they partially enjoyed the quiet scenery together while partially still finding it difficult to break the silence.

“y/n?” hoon suddenly squeaked.

his head turned to face her. “hm?” she looked back at him.

“are we okay?”

her heart shattered and she felt the pulse hitting her hands with the words spoken out. she forced a half smile that had reassurance written over it.

“of course we are sunghoon..” she breathed for a second. “we always are.”

he reflected the warm smile back but nothing else was done. “good.. i hope we remain friends and become reliable to each other.”

“yeah.. me too.” she mewled out, fighting the pressure that had been suddenly pressed on her heart. “i hope you can get with mei soon, hoon. she seems great for you.”

y/n compelled a smile onto her lips while his grin slowly dropped (and she didn’t notice). “oh yeah.. mei.” he mumbled with a sigh.

given that he didn’t deny how he liked the girl, she took it as a sign that she should back off so something could happen with them. but she didn’t know that the only girl he could ever love was her. hell, he was head over heels for his friend that he had to play the long game with. the only reason why he didn’t deny liking mei was because he thought y/n liked jay, and couldn’t find it in herself to admit it.

“we’ll always be okay, right hoon?” she hesitantly asked.

“yeah.. always y/n.”

they both swallowed down their feelings as they kept eye contact for a moment, admiring each other from the bottoms of their heart before looking back at the night sky. sunghoon gulped down a harsh reality check as he wished they remained eye contact a little longer; to stare deeply into her eyes like she was holding the whole universe.. his universe.

“always, hoon..”

J-Hope & Grace: I'm Your Hope

It had been utterly hilarious to stand there, front and centre, and watch what was Hobi’s welcome home speech. It had been a lovely thing to do where he thanked everyone and now that he was properly home, he could relax and get on with the couple of schedules that had been planned when he last had a few days off. 

However, as Seokjin had learnt when he finally walked through the door to the home he shared with Grace, it was hard to adapt from life with strict times and ways to being completely free and at your own pace.

This is why Hobi packed a small bag and grabbed a pillow from his bed. There was just a little too much comfort, just a little too much silence, just a little too much freedom for his liking. It was not even twenty-four hours since his discharge and yet already he was struggling. Of course, the military had warned them that this would be a thing everyone experienced and the more you went about your daily life, the more used to being at home you would feel.

But for Hobi, he knew the only person right now who could give him any kind of encouragement was Seokjin and the only person who could give him that sisterly comfort was not even his own sister, but Grace.

The knock on the door surprised the two and made them wary, as they hadn’t expected anyone to pop over unannounced. Dinner was being cooked in the kitchen, the TV in the background was playing some kind of reality show and Grace was already in her pyjamas. 

A wary (but scared) Seokjin checked the door cameras and immediately relaxed. Quick as a flash, leaving behind a confused Grace, Seokjin pulled the door open: “Oh J-Hope!”

Grace laughed to herself and automatically got another bowl out, adding a pair of chopsticks to the table with a glass and popped her head around the doorway.

In typical J-Hope style, glasses and beanie on, there was a Louis Vitton bag with a fluffy pillow on top and a pair of sliders by the door. 

“Ah hyung, oh Gigi!” Hobi was apologetic at first but turned increasingly happy when he got a look at Grace, as if he hadn’t seen her only hours before.

“You planning on moving in?” she asked, chuckling when she found herself wrapped up in a typical Hobi hug.

Seokjin brought the bag over with the pillow, took one look at what he was holding and immediately turned to head upstairs to the spare room. He knew, better than anyone, what was currently running through his dongsaeng’s head. Back in the kitchen and the dining room, Grace was plating up the food and Hobi, ever helpful, was bringing it to the table. 

“You can stay as long as you like,” she was saying as Seokjin returned. “Maybe you can help this one with Run!Jin,” Grace nodded in her partner’s direction and grinned at the scoff she got in return. 

“I had already planned on kidnapping our hope.”

Hobi frowned, having kind of been aware of the plan, but not fully understanding the plan behind it. It was over plating up a bit of kimchi that Grace showed him the video of what Seokjin had planned to do.

“Jwan,” Hobi complained.

“J-Hope!”

Dinner was a long affair of bouncing back and forth ideas for shows, concerts, Grace’s own solo tour, Seokjin’s solo album, the planned kidnapping, the military and the like. By the time it was finished and dessert had warmed his belly, Hobi finally felt like he was home and away from his strict military life.

“Her cooking will do that,” Seokjin grinned as he led Hobi to the spare bedroom where Min-ji had been waiting. 

“Ah, do you want me to move him?” his hyung asked, watching as Hobi spread out the clothes that he had packed with staying for two days in mind. 

“No, I’ve kind of missed him,” Hobi smiled as the cat came over to wander around everyone’s favourite sunshine and then settled on the chair in the corner. 

“Right,” Seokjin gave the cat a beady eye for which he got a stare in return. “Well, you know where the bathroom is and you know where Grace and I are so just come running if you need us.”

“Hyung, I’m not scared of anything anymore.”

That would have been true if the two of them hadn’t jumped when Grace knocked on the door and popped her head around. “All settled?” she asked, walking in and pretending not to notice Seokjin trying to calm his beating heart after the little jump scare.

“I will be. Thank you for letting me stay here Gigi, the apartment was a bit too quiet,” J-Hope sighed as he sat on the bed. 

“I can imagine. Jin needed a video playing in the background of nature songs to get him to sleep the first night he came home.” 

The second eldest playfully glared, shook his fist at J-Hope then left them to it. 

“But you’re back now,” Grace smiled as she smoothed down the covers of the bed. 

It didn’t take Hobi long to settle and with the covers tucked up to his chin, the bedside lamp on (for now), Grace picked up Min-Ji and waited at the door.

The last time she had spent time like this with her sunshine was over six months ago and she wondered if he would remember but ever the one to remember all the members quirks, nicknames and pastimes, BTS’ sunshine and dance leader proved that he was back (at least to Grace.)

“I’m your hope,” he started.

“Your my hope,” she replied with a grin.

“I’m J-Hope.”

My K-dramas list

LOVED:

Crash Landing on You (사랑의 불시착, 2019-20, 16 eps) This drama is my n1! It made me feel thigs and made me cry a lot. I enjoyed the found family aspect and the story was so different so far what I've watched. I was rooting for the couple so much and the fact they're married in real life! Chef kiss!

No gain No love (손해 보기 싫어서, 2024, 12 eps) Every episode was delight. I fell in love with main couple love story. Their chemistry was magnificent. Second couple had more screen time in my opinion, I was cheering for them, but my heart was stolen by Son Hae-yeong and Kim Ji-wook.I enjoyed the family aspect of it too! And it should've had at least 16 episodes, it ended so quickly. Hope they'll make more stories like this one!

Goblin (쓸쓸하고 찬란하神-도깨비, 2016-17, 16 eps.) Drama which made me watched other kdramas! I loved everything about it, the story, characters and the sountrack.

Doom at your service (어느 날 우리 집 현관으로 멸망이 들어왔다, 2021, 16 eps) The story premise was so good. I enjoyed every second of it. Only thing I didn't love that much was second couple, Na Ji-na was acting so childish.

Tomorrow (내일, 2022, 16 eps) every episode was masterpiece, every episode made me cry because the topics which have been shown was sad reality for so many people. The team was excellent, the chemistry between them was so nice. The camera, the script - I love every episode so much. Definitely need to check out webtoon comics.

The Judge from hell (지옥에서 온 판사, 2024, 14 eps) My first show with Park Shin-hye and not last. She was awesome. And the punishments which those monsters got, was satisfying!

Hometown Cha-Cha-Cha (갯마을 차차차, 2021, 16 eps) I really liked Shin Min-a acting in No gain no love, so of course I watched other drama with her. Enjoyed the story, the chemistry between her and Kim Son-ho, the people from the town. It was such a nice drama!

Welcome to Samdal-ri (웰컴투 삼달리, 2023-24, 16 eps) It had Hometown cha cha cha vibes. The story, sisters bond, friendship and love story in this story was everything. I loved every minute of it.

Fight for my way (쌈 마이웨이, 2017, 16 eps) This drama showed me that when it's done well Friends to lovers trope isn't bad at all.

The Sound of Magic (안나라수마나라, 2022, 6 eps) This was so beautiful drama! JCHW as Magician was brillians as his cast members! The songs were weak except the first song and A curse o Asphalt, those two I can listen to over and over.

Mr. Plankton (Mr. 플랑크톤, 2024, 10 eps) I didn't have high expectations, but it surprised me! I'm glad that I found out at the beginning how it will end. I could prepare myself for it. The story had original story line and Woo Do-hwan stole the show for me!

Marry My Husband (내 남편과 결혼해줘, 2024, 16 eps) I didn't plan to watch it, because the concept was same as Perfect Marriage Revenge. But it was so much better than PMR. It had revenge with R. I couldn't stop watching after episode 1, that addictive it was. The chemistry between couple was so good, side characters were loveable and the villains were amazing - I hated them with my whole soul, the actors did good job. And Yoo Ji-hyuk became my another favorite husband material.

Healer (힐러, 2014-15, 20 eps) I loved everything about it. I binged in 2 days. Healer and Ajumma hacker - the best combination! No love triangle!

Strong Woman Do Bong-soon (힘쎈 여자 도봉순, 2017, 16 eps) I started it because of Park Bo-yeong, but finished it because of Park Hyung-sik - his character Ahn Min-hyuk stole my heart. Overall I enjoyed it a lot. I binged it how intrigued I was. It had comedy, crime invesitgation what I should wish for more. The acting of main characters were flawless!

Suspicious partner (수상한 파트너, 2017, 20 eps) Combination comedy and suspense was so good. It had good balance. It wasn't the best drama, but I loved it either way. I fell in love with its characters.

Revenant (악귀, 2023, 12 eps) I'm not fan of horror, but I got influenced by some edits. It was pretty addictive and scary. The cast did such a good job. And Kim Tae-ri was excellent. Her performance was flawless. Can't wait to watch other shows and movies with her in it.

Gangnam B-Side (강남 비-사이드, 2024, 8 eps) I watched it because of JCW, I was hesitant at first, because I was afraid it would be too much for me, because of the topic, but it wasn't that brutal I was expected it'd be. The pacing of the story was good, the acting was perfect. I enjoyed the friendship theme. Bibi was so good, it's my first drama with her but definitely not last. Chemistry between her and JCW was pretty natural. The ending was satisfying, everything clicked together.

The Worst Evil (최악의 악, 2023, 12 eps) Let me tell ya, it was perfection. I don't even mind I was anxious every episode, because everything on this drama was just perfect. Acting, story, script, soundtrack.. The ending had to be like that, because the whole time it was coming to that point. I can't even watch fan edits, because they made me emotional, that big impacted this drama has over me.

A Business Proposal (사내 맞선, 2022, 12 eps) My first kdrama ever. I enjoyed about it how feel good this drama was. After watching some Turkish dramas where unnecesary drama was made, it was fresh air for me. I loved the friendship so much! And the family dynamic was nice, too.

Daily Dose of Sunshine (정신병동에도 아침이 와요, 2023, 12 eps) Park Bo-yeong was amazing. The story is one of those which everyone should watch once in their lifetime. The story is opening topics about mental illnesses and how big stigma it still is around people. Honestly, only thing I didn't like was the romance there, because it wasn't that necessary for the story itself.

If You Wish Upon Me (당신의 소원을 말하면, 2022, 16 eps) I went into this show blindly. I mainly picked it because of JCW. I didn't know anything about the story.After first episode I knew I will love it and also that every episode will be pretty emotional journey. I enjoyed the plot so much. I like that it's story about people who has their struggles, but they gather to help grant wishes of dying patients. It was so touching.What I love the most about this show is the journey of main character Yoon Kyeo Re. From not trusting anyone, because everyone in his life let him down, to embracing his true self and his new found family! I'm sucker for found family trope and this show served it so amazingly.I loved how the story is wrapped exactly how it begins. The circle of new beginning are repeating.What I didn't like was how was handled the fixation of Ha Joon Kyung on Yoon Kyeo Re. It wasn't satisfying at all.Overall very well done show which made you cry, but the acting and story is so good, so it's totally fine. I just wish the show to be longer, because I didn't want to say goodbye to the characters! They grew on me so much.

Melting me softly (날 녹여주오, 2019, 16 eps.) I had a really good time. When I'm thinking about it now, it wasn't the most perfect thing I've seen, it had its faults and loopholes, but you know what I don't care, because I was enjoying every minute when I was watching it. The comedy, soundtrack and the acting! JCW just know how made you cry or fell in love. Plus his looks with glasses were death to me, he's just that good looking in anything he wears, I guess. Also Won Ji ah was pretty good too, love her portrayal of Ko Mi ra who was a really awesome character.

Happiness (해피니스, 2021, 12 eps) I just say that everyone who was praising this show was right. It was so good! I loved (even though it irritated me, but in reality it would happended) how it showed how would people reacted in some pandemic moment. How people becomes selfish and dangerous. The main couple had stunning chemistry, so natural! And must say I enjoyed strong FL.

Love scout (인사하는 사이, 2025, 12 eps) This was such beautiful mature romance story I've seen for a such a long time! Yoo Eun Ho is the greenest ML! I'm glad the story doesn't have unnecessarily drama, which sometimes happens and I hate it. It had moments I didn't love, but it wasn't something major, just my problems. If you want something when the roles are switched - F CEO and M assistant. Grumpy x Sunshine type of story with mature communication - THIS IS IT!

Brewing love (취하는 로맨스, 2024, 12 eps) I'm glad I didn't stop watching after first episode, because I didn't like that episode a lot, but it got better! I enjoyed the world of making beer and fact that ML was sensitive character, who can feel how someone is feeling, very new what I've seen so far. I also love about the drama the meaningful conversations and no love triangle, and just good time without frustration of miscommunication.

Queen Woo (우씨왕후, 2024, 8 eps) My first historical kdrama. I was shocked how many explicit scenes there were. But I enjoyed the strong female protagonist! The cast was so good, the costumes were stunning. Definitely not disappointed, only thing I was sad about was that JCW's character dies at the beginning. I loved their love story they really loved each other so much.

Shooting Stars (별똥별, 2022, 16 eps) I got crush on Kim Young-dae after watching No gan no love. Unfortunately I didn't love this drama, but I had a really good time. I enjoy the story setting, it shows how messed up is the entertainment industry in South Korea. The comedy was so good. I wasn't satisfied with how some plots were handled in the end. Overall it was fun drama!

Extraordinary Attorney Woo (이상한 변호사 우영우, 2022, 16 eps (S1)) I enjoyed every case. Joon-ho is such a green forest!

Backstreet Rookie (편의점 샛별이, 2020, 16 eps) First episode wasn't good, the problematic elements shocked me, but I give it a try, because of JCW and after second episode I was hooked. Enjoyed the comedy and serious topics which was added. I wasn't fan the romance though, it took them a long time than ML and his gf broke up, which I was frustrating with the gf behavior, I was sorry for her at the beginning, but I got mad at her soon after that. She was such a toxic victim acting person. The whole relationship was mostly about her and fact she was feeling embarrassed when she was with him!? And after break up, which she broke up with him and in bad way...she started chased him again! I was done with her acting. And another person annoyed me that much, which wasn't even punished is younger sister of FL. LIke what a brat. The chemistry was there, but I didn't feel the love. I hope they'd be in another drama together!

Love next door (엄마 친구 아들, 2024, 16 eps) I enjoyed chemistry between charcters and also trope friends into lovers, which was executed so nicely. Enjoyed important messages in it, BUT a few last episodes was dragging to me. I guess, I lost interest in the end. But I was so rooting for second couple, so I needed to finish it. This gonna be my first kdrama where I prefer second couple more.

Lovestrunk  in the city (도시남녀의 사랑법, 2020-21, 17 eps) It had very interesting concept. And was suprised that episodes were short like 30 mins. What I loved the most about this show was friendship of Lee Eun-oh, Suh Rin-i and Kang Geon. Give me supportive friends and I will love it! Next thing is spoilers so what I didn't get was 2 months fling which he did like they knew each other for longer period time. Understand, that it can happended, but he was such a loser boyfriend. I was embarrassed for him for many times. But I loved how caring he was...The ending wasn't satisfying at all. It felt like there gonna be season 2, but I doubt it.

When the phone rings (지금 거신 전화는, 2024-25, 12 eps) It had very good start. I love the chemistry ad the acting. But the finale ruined it for me. Honestly, I don't mind the war-zone plot, I was annoyed with Hee joo decision to get kidnapped in that zone to find her husband. Like girl you could've been killed. What were you thinking?

Cinderella at 2 am (새벽 2시의 신데렐라, 2024, 10 eps) beginning started so high and it went down half way through the show, which was a shame. This is my second noona show (found out there's a name for older woman, younger man show recently) Moon Sang-min was such a cutie in the show. Most people prefer second couple and I don't blame them, but I love main couple, they were such cute idiots and I was there for it. But if I should choose only 1 drama with noona theme...No gain No love did it better in whole picture (characters, story itself).

Wedding Impossible (웨딩 임파서블, 2024, 12 eps) I had the same problem as with Cinderella at 2 am, it had a really good beginning but in the halfway it got a little dragged. Especially didn't enjoy what they did Dohan's story, I was picked this show up especially with the premise FL helps her friend and becomes his fake bride because he's gay. This theme wasn't handle very good. I started it because of Moon Sang-min and stayed because of him, because hist character Lee Ji-han was overdramatic and I was here for it! I was also in awe with FL Na Ah Jung - I love abour her she doesn't give a damn and tells you what she thinks!

Empress Ki (기황후, 2013-14, 51 eps) The beginning was nice, but I was dying half way through. I was watching it because of JCW, but his character was so annoying and childish and I know that if that character was played by different actor I would loath him so much. The biggest red flag ever. I loved the main heroine though, she was clever and strong. Like yeah she was good at everything but I don't mind, I just loved her and she deserved so much more... The romance was I don't know... the chemistry was there but I didn't feel it it¨s some epic love. Tal Tal was side character which stole my heart, his tactic mind and fact he started having respect towards Ki through time, they were besties for me. Even though I wasn't that big fan of the show like most of the people, the characters have grown on me and the finale destroyed me big time. The soundtrack was so nice!

Perfect Marriage Revenge (완벽한 결혼의 정석 , 2023, 12 eps.) It had so much potential, but it didn't live up to it. I enjoyed ML, he was another green forest. But I was expecting a little more satisfying revenge from FL. Nervertheless it was solid drama, I like it.

Link: Eat, Love, Die (링크: 먹고 사랑하라, 죽이게, 2022, 16 eps) Interesting plot, but that slow pacing of the story was killing me. I'd prefer 12 eps, because it'd be enough. I enjoyed the main characters, plus FL's mom and grandma who were stealer of the show how hillarious they were. The characters were main reason I finished it.

The K2 (더 케이투, 2016, 16 eps) Ji Chang-wook has become my favorite actor. I love how he can play anything. And the action is so good when he's there. I was excited after a few episodes in, the action, political schemes. But in the end only Ji Chang wook and Song Jun-a were saving this show. Her villain character Choi Yoo-jin was magnificent and interesting persona. Thanks to them I wanted to finish it and I did!

My sweet mobster (놀아주는 여자, 2024, 16 eps) I enjoyed the idea of the show. Loved the guys and their boss. But it was dragging a bit in the end. It took me a while to finish it because of it.

Family Matters (가족계획, 2024, 6 eps) It was good to see Bae Doona again after so long. The story was interesting. Hope they are planning second season, because it definitely deserves it.

The Trunk (트렁크, 2024, 8 eps) The plot was very confusing at first, it took me 2 episode to understand it. Pacing was very slow and if there wouldn't be main couple I'd just give up, but I enjoy them. Their chemistry was natural and fact, they healed each other at some point!

Family by choice (조립식 가족, 2024, 16 eps) I must say I was pleasantly suprised how well they did the remake of Go ahead. The essense of that show was there, but it made it more its own show.

Face Me (페이스 미, 2024, 12 eps) Beginning was promising, but it flopped in half way. I can't blame cast too much, because main issue was script, they couldn't do better job because of it. I was missing development of characters and the fact the killer was obvious from very beginning wasn't cool, I love being surprised.

Thinking about how petrifying it must have been for Su-min to watch Ji-won detach herself from her in every possible way. How telling that their nickname for each other was "[my] other half." Where Ji-won thought of her as a sister with whom she could share everything, Su-min only ever thought of Ji-won as an extension of herself, the other half of her that matters, the other half whose dad did not abandon her, the other half who is loved. When you're loved, you're not empty.

Watching Ji-won stand up for herself and refuse to do all the things she used to do for Su-min is akin to watching her two arms and legs suddenly grow a brain and go on about their life, abandoning her completely. At this point I think she's beyond angry: she's horrified lol

She is incapable of thinking of Ji-won outside of herself: she doesn't see her as her own person. And Ji-won used to unknowingly let herself be eaten away. Su-min's weird coping mechanism for her abandonment issues is based entirely on that. She both resents and needs her.

In the original timeline, she slowly, insidiously took over that "other half" until Ji-won completely disappeared, and Su-min was able to replace her fully (righting a—perceived—wrong). But, in the new timeline, her other half doesn't act like a puzzle piece. Uh oh, Ji-won is a whole, complete person! Su-min still tries to "replace" her, but fails because Ji-won has become too solid to be moved or erased.

I feel like Su-min's reached some sort of milestone with the last couple episodes. It's like she expected to be spoon-fed sugar as always, but realized she was suddenly choking on salt lmao. We didn't see much of her in ep 14 unfortunately, but her outbursts in episode 13 were so good. Hands down the most interesting character lol (sorry Yu-ra, I can't be bothered to care about youuu, I'm bored).

She's certified cray-zy, and compared to her composed appearance of the earlier eps, it's almost like she's experiencing a descent into madness... but girlie's been insane the whole time, and for so long, so at this point it's not a descent; she can't go any lower. Rather, it's kind of an abrupt ascent lol. A violent wake up call. Everything is bubbling up to the surface, and she can't avoid it.

Even during the confrontation (finally!!!!) with Ji-won, she took so long to drop the act, she took so long to admit what really motivated her actions. 100% sure it was the first time she had to put words, Actual Words on her feelings and behavior. And after her whole monologue, for Ji-won to reply, "...what, that's it?"

Even her reasons are seen—by her own victim too!—as utterly empty, and devoid of any meaning. Oooooh, it must have burned.

You and Seungmin weren’t fans of surprises. Commonly scaring each other you don’t mind, but life changing decisions such as asking you out, proposing, and pregnancy, we’re all things you made each other aware was going to happen.

Maybe it was like that because of how you met, but that is a different story for a different time.

Right now you had just found out you were pregnant, and it was planned and you were going to tell Seungmin once you got home from work.

You just played with Li-Hyeon, and then put her down for her nap. She was three, and you knew she was ready for a sibling, so you and Seungmin were excited to give her one.

You were reading a book, and that’s when you heard the door open. You just sat there reading away while listening to the surrounding sounds.

You felt a peck on top of your, something commonly did when he came home from work. “Hi..Min” you say, turning a page in your book. “Hi my Citrus Scented, Bath and Body Works spray” he teases.

You just look back at him with an weirded out expression. He just chuckles and sits next to you. The moment was calm, and perfect. You shut your book and cuddled Seungmin lying on his chest.

“I took a pregnancy test today, and it came out positive..” You said, you felt Seungmin’s heart rate increase, and his chest grow. “Really? Did you take another one?” He asked with excitement filling his voice.

“Yeah, I scheduled a doctor's appointment for tomorrow..” You said, Seungmin put his hands on your stomach. “Our family is growing each and everyday!”

Your daughter was beyond happy when she learned that she was going to be a big sister, and you told Seungmin’s parents when you dropped Li-Hyeon off there.

You and Seungmin went hand and hand into your ultrasound, and when it was your turn to get your ultrasound, the sense of Deja-vu came over again. 

It was like when you were pregnant with Li-Hyeon. But things were going to be way different. The lady hands you a folder of your sonogram, after your ultrasound.

You and Seungmin open it up, to reveal your child. “Mrs.Kim, 2 months pregnant, Twins”You were shocked and looked at Seungmin. 

Seungmin's eyes widen very much, “Do you have twins in your family?” He asked. You shake your head “No..not any that I know of..” You were still shocked at the sonogram. Seungmin smiled and said, “Well this is a surprise..” 

The two of you knew, as much as you tried to avoid surprises, you knew you were going to have a few surprises. Your daughter was excited to have two siblings, Seungmin’s parents were shocked, but then explained that Seungmin’s great-grandmother was a twin, they just never mentioned it.

The pregnancy itself came with surprises, you took Li-Hyeon when you figured out the gender. She was excited when she knew she was getting two little brothers now.

The next surprise was when your two little boys came 3 weeks early, it was expected they came early, just not that early. Finally after giving birth, you held your two babies in your hands, as Seungmin looked at the boys, who were identical, with a lot of his puppy features.

“I guess I will have to get used to having 4 Seungmin’s around” you said, as Li-Hyeon also resembled Seungmin in looks and attitude. Ji-Ho and Ju-woo grew up the same, except Ji-Ho was a bit shy, but they were all your sassy children, who learned well from Seungmin. -x-x-x-x-x-

I woke up, grabbed my phone from the nightstand, go on my socials, like and commented on some photos and videos, set my phone back on the nightstand, changed it, got off the bed and do my routine.

I walked out of the bathroom all dressed, grabbed my phone along with my bag, walked out of my room to the kitchen, greeted my sister Iseul, served myself and sat next to her.

" Are you coming to the restaurant today? " She said.

I nod my head and said " Yeah, I am. "

She smiled and said " Great, we could use your help. "

" I just need to do a errand before I go to the restaurant. "

" Alright. "

~ Yoongi's POV ~

I am here in my office at home doing some work, heard the door knocked and I said " Come in. "

The door opened, the maid walked in, looked at me and said " Mr. Min, Jin and Hobi are here. "

I nod my head and said " I'll be right there. "

She nod her head, walked out of the office, I took off my glasses, set them down on the desk, got up from the chair, grabbed my phone, and walked out of my office to the living room.

I looked at them and said " This better be good. "

" It is, we finally found them. " Jin said.

" Found who? "

" The person who you've been looking for, for a year. "

" Kim Seojoon and his son Dae-hyun. " Hobi said.

" They opened a hot pot restaurant right under our noses. "

" What are you gonna do now, Yoongi? " Hobi said.

I looked at Jin and said " What's the address of their restaurant? "

He gave me a paper, it has the address, I nod my head and said " Thanks. "

I finally found you, Kim Seojoon and Dae-hyun.. No more running away.. I'm getting the money you borrowed from me and I'm not giving anymore chances..

~ Y/n's POV ~

I finished with my errand so I am walking over to the restaurant which isn't too far from my house, when I got to the restaurant, I noticed three men standing dressed in black staring at the restaurant from across the street.

I walked over to the door, looked at my brother and said " Who the hell are they? "

" Who? " Dae-hyun said.

" Those men standing across the street. "

Dae-hyun and my sister in law Ji-ah walked over to me, looked at them, and I said " I think they're spying or something. "

" God, you're right. " Ji-ah said.

I looked at Dae-hyun and said " What's going on? "

~ Dae-hyun's POV ~

I walked inside the restaurant and mumbled while taking my phone out " I hope it's not what I think it is. " and called my Dad.

Dad: Yes, son?

Me: Dad, there's some guys standing across the street. They're spying on us. Do you think they found us?

Mom ( from background ): What is it, Yeobo? You've gone pale.

Dad: Don't freak out. Is Y/n there?

Me: She's here.

Dad: Don't tell her anything, I'm sure it's not them.

Me: Right, I won't tell her Dad. But how can you be so sure?

Dad: If it's them, they wouldn't stop.

Me: Well then, why are they standing there? Why are they watching the restaurant? They don't take their eyes off it.

Dad: Okay, hang up. Let me call Jun and asked about them. I'll get back with you.

Me: Alright.

~ Seojoon's POV ~

I let out a sigh, ran my fingers through my hair and my wife Ha-joon said " What is it, Seojoon? Have they found us? "

" Some people are lurking around. "

" Oh my goodness. We are doomed! "

" Jagiya, easy now. Calm down. I'm calling Jun now. "

I am here in my office, my phone rang, I looked at the caller ID, it's Jungkook, I grabbed my phone and answered it:

Me: Are they there?

Everyone is in the kitchen while I am sitting down on the living room couch looking at my phone that is on the coffee table anxiously.

" My God, all these years I have done everything to keep Iseul and Y/n away from this mess. May we receive good news. " I said to myself and let out a sigh.

" Dad, * Walked over to him * are you hungry? " Y/n said.

I looked at her and said " Don't worry. I'll be there in a minute. "

The phone rang, I quickly got up, grabbed the phone and heard Y/n said " Who is it Dad? "

I answered the phone " Hello? Wait a minute. " I walked outside to take the call.

~ Y/n's POV ~

" Mom, what is it? " Iseul said.

I looked at Mom who looked like she's freaking out a little, she looked at Iseul and said " Nothing. Serve the food, will you? "

" Okay. "

I walked over to Iseul and helped her.

~ Dae-hyun's POV ~

I walked out of my bedroom to the kitchen, looked at everyone, noticed that Dad isn't there, I looked at Mom and said " Where's Dad? "

Iseul looked at me and said " He's outside talking on the phone. "

I nod my head, walked outside, saw Dad talking on the phone, I walked over to him, he hanged up the call, let out a sigh and I said " Any news Dad? Who are those guys? "

" I don't know, son. I'm asking around about them. But no luck. "

" Don't worry Dad. If it were them, they wouldn't wait, right? "

" How long did they lurk around? "

" No sure. But they weren't there when I left. "

Dad let out a sigh and said " Probably they weren't looking for us. "

The door opened, Y/n looked at us and said " Dad, Dae-hyun, come on the food is getting cold. "

" We're coming. " I said.

We walked inside the house.

* The Next Day *

~ Seojoon's POV ~

I am here sitting down on the living room couch waiting for a call while Ha-joon is making herself some tea, Dae-hyun and Ji-ah are in the restaurant.

" Any news yet? "

" Not yet. "

My phone rang, I quickly grabbed it from the coffee table and answered the call:

Me: Hello? ... yes.

I heard Ha-joon running to me, sat down next to me and said " What is it? "

I stood up with a shocked face when I heard the news, Ha-joon stood up as well and said " What? They found us? "

I didn't answer her, just heard him talking and she said " Why aren't you saying anything Seojoon? Talk to me. "

Me: Okay..

" Is it them, Seojoon? "

Me: I understand.

Ha-joon panicked and said " Is it them? "

The call ended, I gulped as I lowered the phone, looked at Ha-joon and said " It was them. "

She let out a loud gasp and said " Oh God! "

" They found us. "

" Oh God, Dae-hyun! " She ran out of the house.

~ Yoongi's POV ~

I am getting ready to go visit the Kim family at their restaurant, I grabbed my gun, put it in my back pocket, put on my jacket, grabbed my phone, the office door opened, Jin looked at me and said " Where are you going? "

I looked at him and said " I'm going to pay the Kim family a little visit. "

" You want me to come with you? "

I shooked my head and said " No, I'll go alone. "

" Are you sure? "

" Yes, I'll call you if I need backup. "

" Alright, be careful. "

" I will. " I walked out of my office.

I am here in my car parked across the street from the restaurant, I saw Dae-hyun, there's four customers, I waited for them to leave, once they did, I stepped out of my car, Dae-hyun walked over to the entrance, someone called his name, he walked out of the restaurant and talked to this man.

I took out my gun from my back pocket, the guy left, Dae-hyun took his phone out of his pocket, and heard someone shouted " Dae-hyun!! "

I saw a woman running to the restaurant, Dae-hyun looked at her and said " Mom? "

She grabbed him, trying to push him inside the restaurant and he said " What's going on? "

" Let's go inside. " She looked around.

" Mom? "

" They found us! Get inside. "

They walked inside, I saw Seojoon running to the entrance of the restaurant, he looked around, his eyes locked with mine, his eyes widened, ran inside and closed the door behind him.

I stepped inside the car, got out my phone, made a call to Jin to get the men ready, hanged up the call and drove away.

~ Dae-hyun's POV ~

My mom is sitting down on a chair crying and said " God help us. Protect us! "

" Ha-joon, will you stop it? " Dad said.

She looked at him and said " Stop what, Seojoon? Stop what? * Looked at Dae-hyun * Son, you are leaving today. Take your passport and leave the country. Go to a place where no one can find you. "

" Mom, what are you talking about? How can I leave my wife, how can I leave you? "

" You will go, Dae-hyun. I will not lose you over this. "

I looked at Dad and said " What did Jun tell you Dad? Is it true? "

Dad nod his head and said " They are after us, son. Your Mom is right, you have to leave. "

" Dad, for God's sake. How can I leave you guys? "

" Don't think about us, Dae-hyun. You will go. You have to leave, son. You have to run away. " Mom said.

We heard a voice " What's going on? "

We turned around, Y/n walked over to us, looked at Mom and said " Who is running away to where, Mom? "

~ Y/n's POV ~

They told me what happened and I said " What? * Sat down on a chair * How? You mean, they will kill my brother and Dad over some debt? "

We stood quiet, Mom rubbed her temples and I said " What kind of a debt is this? We will work and pay the debt. Why don't we talk to them and ask for time? Why would my brother leave his home? "

" It's not a debt that can be paid off easily, Y/n. " Dae-hyun said.

" Can't we take out a loan? We can mortage the restaurant. * Looked at Dad * Dad? We won't let him leave, right? We will find a way. "

" Oh shut up! Go home and go fetch a few things for your brother. Now! " Mom shouted at me.

" Mom.. "

" Just do what I say! Remember to get his passport. "

I didn't move and she shouted " What are you waiting for?! Go! "

I looked at Dae-hyun and said with tears in my eyes " Dae-hyun? "

" Come here, come. " He spread his arms open.

I got up from the chair, walked over to him, we hugged, I cried and he said " Do as Mom says. "

" Why don't we go to the police? What year are we in? Killing people because of debt is a thing of the past. "

" Shh. * Pulled away from the hug, looked at her * Come on, Y/n please. I am asking you. Go. "

I nod my head, wiped my tears, walked out of the restaurant and walked home.

~ Yoongi's POV ~

I am here in my office with my men explaining the plan, I grabbed the stuff, looked at my men and said " You ready to go? "

They nod their heads and said " Let's go. "

We walked out of the mansion, got in our cars and we are on our way to the Kim's restaurant.

~ Dae-hyun's POV ~

Mom is pacing back and fourth, I looked at her and said " Mom, calm down. "

She looked at me and said " How can I calm down?! Where the fuck is Y/n?! "

All of the sudden a bunch of cars pulled up, I walked over to the window, men stepped out of the cars and I said " Mom, they're here! "

She ran to the door, blocked it, looked at me and shouted " Run! "

~ Yoongi's POV ~

My men and I arrived at the restaurant, we stepped out, I walked over to the entrance, saw Seojoon's wife blocking the door, I kicked the door open which caused her to fell down to the floor.

I walked in, saw Dae-hyun grabbed a knife, I took my gun out from my back pocket, pointed the gun at him which made him dropped the knife, and the Mom stood in front of Dae-hyun.

" Don't shoot me in front of my mother. Take me outside and then shoot me. " He said to me.

The Mom shooked her head and said " I'm begging you. Don't give me the grief of losing a child. Let go of my son. Spare his life. "

" You think you can fucking hide from me? You really think you can get away? Where is my money?! "

" We don't have it, but- "

She slapped him and said " You will let her go! Shut up! * Cried and hugged him * You will let him take her. There is no other way. "

Dae-hyun didn't say anything, the Mom pulled away from the hug, looked at him and said " Say yes, don't be silent. * Looked at her husband * Seojoon, talk to your son. "

Seojoon didn't say anything so she yelled at him " Seojoon, say something! Hello?! "

He didn't say anything which is loosing my patience, the wife shouted while crying " Seojoon! "

" That's enough! " I shouted.

They looked at me, I looked at Seojoon and said " Bring me the girl. Now! "

" My sister isn't going with you. " Dae-hyun said.

" Then, blood will shed. One way or another, we will put an end to this today. " I said.

" Stop! I am begging you! Y/n is on her way now. She'll be here any minute. " Ha-joon said.

Dae-hyun looked at Seojoon and said " Dad! I don't agree with this. Don't sacrifice Y/n. She's your daughter. Don't do it! Dad, please. Don't, she's your daughter! "

Ha-joon stood silent and Dae-hyun shouted " Dad! Say something! "

" My guys are waiting at the door. You will hand over the girl to them. " I walked out.

I looked at my men and said " A girl will come here. Bring her to me. "

I stepped in my car and drove off.

When Yoongi left, my Mom wiped her tears, I looked at my Dad and said " Dad? Say something. She's your daughter! It's Y/n we're talking about! "

I got to the restaurant holding a carry on luggage, I saw two men standing outside the restaurant, they blocked the door, I tried to push my way in but they grabbed my arms and I shouted " Let me go! Leave me alone! "

I saw my brother was gonna run to me but Mom is holding him back and I heard her said to him " Dae-hyun, I will not forgive you if you don't let Y/n go! Let them take Y/n! "

I broke free, ran inside, dropped the carry on luggage, they grabbed my arms, I looked at my brother and said " Dae-hyun, call the police! "

Mom looked at me and shouted " You will go with them. If you want your brother to live. You have to go with them! "

" What are you talking about mother? "

" I told you to stop! " Mom shouted to Dae-hyun who is trying to get to me.

" Mom, I can't give my sister away. I can't let her go. "

" Dae-hyun, stop. I said stop! "

" Mom, what are you doing? " I cried.

" Seojoon! * Looked at her husband * Seojoon, help me! " Mom shouted at Dad.

I tried to get away, one of the men said " Come on, move it! "

They dragged me out and I heard my brother said " Let me go, Mom! "

They opened the door, threw me in the car, I saw Mom walked out of the restaurant, looked at me and shouted " Don't come here again! Stay away from my family! "

The car drove off, I cried, banged on the window and shouted " Help me! Somebody help me please! "

I froze when I felt something cold on my temple and heard " Shut the fuck up! I don't want to fucking hear it. "

I nod my head and he said " If I heard anything from you, I'm going to blow your fucking head off and go back to your brother and Dad and kill them. Do you hear me? "

I nod my head again, he moved the gun away from my temple, covered my mouth with my hand and silently cried.

What are they gonna do to me? I can't believe this is happening! Can someone save me?!

I don’t understand how people can say Kim Young-dae can’t act. It’s true that the heavy lifting in no gain no love was left to Shin min-a but you can see his character growing just from his physique. In the first episodes he has rounded shoulders, he looks reluctant to talk to people, he speaks with a low voice, he looks like he’s going to faint when he is on the same bad with a woman. Flash forward to the last episode, the way he speaks and talks and flirts show us how much he has changed. Even during the funeral, his posture is enough to make us see is struggle between wanting to join the sisters in their sorrow and being afraid of intruding into a private moment.

He also shines in the comedy bits because he’s always believable, even if the situation is crazy his acting is never over the top.

I think it perplexes me so much because I was watching Moon in the Day and I liked him so much that I can watched both Sh**ting Stars and The Forbidden Marriage while waiting for new episodes. At the same time, I'm reading all these people complaining that he has "dead eyes" or that they hated the male lead in MitD. He looked like he was suicidally depressed and the character let an assassin live in his house hoping she would kill him, so I'd say that role was done perfectly. Also the difference between Joon-oh, whom I absolutely hated, and Do-ha was perfect.

The funeral in No Gain No Love was so good! Ji-uk looked so miserable being left out but was trying to respect it. And he was angry at himself for crying, it was great! The way the drama was written Hae-yeong is definitely the main character. We get way more insight into her thinking than Ji-uk. That's not an acting problem (and I don't mind more focus on the female lead).

Also, his characters have different smiles and different ticks, which I think counts as good acting. Anyway, I probably should just accept that it's subjective because I don't like certain actors that other people think are good and I read comments about couples having no chemistry when I think they have so much chemistry so 🤷🏼‍♀️

*A wormhole open up in the sky above the ship and before you know it, Sang-mi crashes face first onto the deck.*

"How did...?" The unfortunately deposited tenrec peeled herself off of the boards she'd faceplanted on with a groan, a little blood dribbling from one nostril. Bleary eyes take in a star-dotted sky overhead that seems to go for miles and miles, and the sound of the living breathing awe-inspiring existence of the ocean filled her ears to boot. And then the raccoon. The raccoon, who is looking at her from behind a ship wheel twice her size. A long, wordless staring contest began... Or at least it felt eternally long to the rattled and bewildered Sang-mi, before Marine cupped her hands around her mouth: "Oi, Surge! A bigger, prettier version of you just fell outta the sky!"

"Surge..?! Wait, what's-"

"The hell d'you mean bigger and prettier?! Lemme get a look at this friggin' beanpole and I'll-" A hand went to Sang-mi's shoulder and promptly spun her around on her heel, and she abruptly found herself staring down at another tenrec who hand her hands on her hips, linen muffler cloak fluttering behind her in the sea breeze dramatically. The tied up quills. The dagger-teeth currently displayed in a perplexed frown. Okay, the big billowy cape was a little crazy, but-

"M-Min-Ji?! I mean, Surge?!"

"Woah. Uh. You... kinda do look like me." Surge looked her up and down, wisely not contesting either of the two qualifiers Marine gave her anymore. "Not that I'd ever wear something so damn lacy. A sundress? Gimme a break."

"Min-ji, What's going on?! Who's that raccoon? Where's Jewel? Where-" The questions came in an outpour before she managed to stop herself, stiffen, and ask: "Why are we on an old-timey pirate ship?"

"What's Mingee? Is that an Earth swear? Am I gonna get in trouble if I say it? Am I in trouble right now?" Marine asked loudly from her perch behind the wheel. The tenrecs ignored her.

"So, to answer your questions..." Surge began to count each of them off on her fingers as she spoke, "Dunno know who Min-ji is, the raccoon's a little scumbag who drives boats, dunno who Jewel is, and you fell from a magical hole in the sky onto a boat in the middle of the ocean in another dimension where I'm sailing with the Princess of a magical empire to try to find a legendary sword and some enchanted talking rocks so that I can get home and make out with a sheep."

Silence. Sangi-mi, though, eventually sat down calmly with her hands on knees folded against her chest. Surge frowned. "Uh... What the hell are you doing?"

"Clearly I'm dreaming, and this is the part of the dream where everything just stops making sense and your brain starts throwing nonsense at you. So I'm, um... Going to just sit and wait to wake up?"

"Aw, c'mon, was any of that really that weird?" Surge felt strangely insulted somehow. "Oh, well. I'm sure the Princess can figure somethin' out for you. Until then, whatever floats your boat, sister."

"At least you remember that part," Sang-mi pouted. "...W-wait, did you say sheep?" The taller of the two tenrec's face immediately turned a deep red.

Surge had a feeling this was going to be a long night.

Sang-mi and Surge was making their way through Spiral Hill when a giant portal opened up in the sky above and before they knew it, it spat out a group of girls on the ground right in front of them before vanishing back into nothing.

"Amy?!" Surge exclaimed in surprise as she rushed over to help the hedgehog back up on her feet. "What have you gotten yourself into this time?!"

"Uhm, Surge? There's another you again. I think that was the Tumblr wormhole Kit talked about." Sang-mi noted as the rest of the group got up, the other Surge getting into a battle stance in front of what looked like a lizard wearing heavy armour.

"Okay, which out of you bastards-" the other Surge yelled as sparks ran across her before she laid eyes on her duplicate. "The actual fuck?"

"Tumblr wormhole." Jade Surge replied with a shrug as Amy slowly got her bearings next to her. "You get used to them after a while. You'll be back in your own universe in a minute or two."

The newcomers looked between each other, making sure they were all unharmed and accounted before a purple cat in a royal looking garb turned her attention towards the two tenrecs.

"Another universe? Another version of Amy's world. Most intriguing. You must be this world's Surge and..." Blaze began before looking up at Sang-mi with a confused frown. "Another Surge? Tall-Surge? Another tumblr wormhole visitor?"

"No Blaze, this is Sang-mi, my little sister." Surge replied and she couldn't help but chuckle at the look the other Surge gave them.

"I'm afraid that...I mean I know Surge." Sang-mi said as she gestured towards amycule Surge. "But I'm afraid I don't know anyone else? Who are you?"

Amy let out a undignified gasp before turning to Jade Surge with a frown on her face.

"You haven't introduced your own sister to your girlfriends?! What's wrong with you?!"

The look on Jade Surge's face could only be described as priceless and Sang-mi would kick herself afterwards for not taking her picture. The way her eyes went wide and a blush quickly took over not only her muzzle but shone through her green fur.

"I...what? Plural? I-what-no-I-when-how-" Surge barely managed, struggling to form a coherent sentence, prompting her sister to step in.

"Min-ji, I mean, my Surge is dating Jewel and we've met. She's lovely." the taller tenrec explained and she couldn't help but giggle as everyone in the amycule turned their heads towards their own Surge with knowing grins on their faces.

"What's this Surge~?" Amy asked in a singsong voice. "You want Jewel to join us too? You greedy little tenrec!"

"I-I wouldn't mind." the armoured lizard said as she peeked out from under her helmet. "If it makes you happy, t-then go f-for it."

"I-what-no-I mean-I" the visiting Surge tried before pulling a large helmet out of nowhere and placing it atop her head, much like her reptilian girlfriend. Nothing could breach the helmet of solitude, not even her girlfriends' teasing.

Jade Surge and Sang-mi just stared at the scene in front of them for a few seconds before a loud pop was heard and the amycule was gone from sight.

"Is it bad that I'm starting to get used to this?" Surge asked as they continued their walk.

"No, it's...odd, but so am I." Sang-mi hummed. "But I'm surprised, their Surge was using electricity. I didn't know you could-"

"I can't, must be something about their universe I don't know, oh look at the time we better hurry."

And with that Surge grabbed Sang-mi by the hand and rushed towards the Restoration HQ, desperately hoping to change the subject when they arrived.

Minho sighed before reaching out for his phone.

"what?" minho mumbled as he read the text message he recieved from you. He was just about to message his date that he wouldn't be able to make it when he got the notification from you. "what is it now?" Jisung questioned. "Y/n cancelled. Her sisters over. " Jisung hummed. "so the Gods heard your prayers. You must really like this date huh" Minho side-eyed Jisung. "Shut up." Minho grabbed his wallet and left for the date not batting another eye to the text.

He reached the movie theater and smiled when he saw his date waiting at the entrance. "Hii." She said. He smiled and held out his hand for her to hold. "Ready for that sit com?" He smiled. She nodded. Walking in they handed their tickets and went to buy popcorn. Minho stood in line when her heard a familiar laugh, he turned to his right and was surprised to see Y/n's sister and her husband standing in the line beside them, giggling over something.

"Oh noona?" Y/n/s turned and looked at him. "Oh minho! Hi!" He smiled in confusion. "We're getting popcorn dumbo, are you on a date!!??" he laughed, scratched the back of his neck and nodded. "okay well see you around!" they said leaving the till. Minho brushed off your lie, confused on why you had to lie to him about her coming over.

During the movie he felt a little distracted so he excused himself to the bathroom. He texted you.

Minho contemplated leaving and going to y/n's apartment. He concluded that he couldn't just ditch his date. He went back into the cinema and sat down passing her a small smile. How did she know he had a date? Did Jisung call her and tell her off because she called him earlier? No way he did... did he? His mind was racing.

When the movie was finished his date asked if he wanted to come over. Using fatigue as an excuse Minho said goodbye and drove to your apartment. Would you be asleep? It was 9:30pm. He didn't think so. He rang the doorbell, knocked on the door and called out your name. You opened a little drowsily and frowned "The hell Minho." He huffed. "I'm sorry I didn't know you were asleep." he walked in.

"Why did you come here so late?" He noticed your red puffy eyes and his heart ached. He would beat Jisung's ass if he said something stupid and he hurt you. "How did you know I was at the cinema?" You sighed and sat on the couch. "You..." He frowned. "Me?" You sighed and wiped the sleep out of your eyes with your palms. "You didn't end the call you idiot..." His eyes widened. "Oh...gosh. Did you hear everything?" He grimaced. "No actually, I cut the call when jisung was about to go off about how I'm in the way of your happiness."

His faced flushed in embarressment. You knew about his feelings. He crouched down and hid his face in his hands. "Oh gosh." You frowned. "What is it." He whined. "I didn't mean to fall in love with you I swear." Your eye's widened. "You're in love with me?" He looked up and gasped. "Shit." You blushed. "and if you stayed on the call you would have heard how I bashed sungie for bad mouthing you because you always make me happy."

"Oh." you said and looked the other way. He stood up from where he was crouching and sat next to you. "Y/n." You looked at him. "I'm sorry for not realising that you had feelings for me." He sighed "Its okay, I always knew you were a dumbass." You rolled your eyes. "I'm serious you loser." He laughed. "Its okay. Its not your fault. You know that." You leaned back on the couch and sighed. "Maybe if you said something we'd be dating by now."

"What?" His eyes widened. You side-eyed him. "I like you too. I really really like you." He just stared at you. "Minho?" He blinked, and made an "o" expression. You chuckled. "Lee Minho?!" He held you hand and kept staring at you. "Marry Me." You pushed him and started laughing. "Yah!" He laughed. "WAE?!" You shook your head and looked away.

He turned your face to look at him. You gulped. "What?" He wiped your tear stained cheeks and then quickly pecked your lips. He immediately stood up and backed away. He pointed at you. "You're mine now okay?!" He stumbled backwards and headed out closing the door behind him. You laughed and went to text him.

Minho laughed and put his phone in his pocket before heading home. Although you were both oblivious of each others feelings , you both knew now. And he wouldn't have it any other way.

Bangtan Baby: Bam

There was never any worry about Bam and Bora being together. She had come to understand with a couple of valuable lessons that animals weren’t as happy to be poked and prodded as humans were. A little incident with Min-Ji where a tiny foot had met a long fluffy tail was a big lesson to the tiny one. 

So now she understood that you had to take time and be gentle.

However, Bam had more energy than any of them combined and even with an excited toddler, the dog’s energy was completely unmatched. 

Jungkook let out a wheeze as he sat down on the grass, completely winded by running after his dog and his sister. The training in the military and outside of it clearly didn’t prepare him for this. 

Bam slowly chased around the small garden, tiny legs and feet following with little arms stretched out. Even Bam knew he couldn’t go too fast otherwise the toddler would cry at the frustration of not matching her second favourite visitor. 

The first one being Jungkook.

“Go and get him Bora!” The golden maknae yelled, giving up completely on trying to even catch up. 

It took two more laps around the garden before Bam stopped, panting as he realised the little one was no longer following. His ears flopped against his fur as he turned, trying to see where she had gone. 

“Got!” a little voice yelled as she finally got her target.

Bora wrapped her arms around the dog’s neck, gently like her mother told her, and rested her head against the Doberman’s. With a huff of defeat, Bam sat in place.

“Okay, that’s cute,” Jungkook grinned as he took his phone out to take a photo. 

He left them like that for a moment, watching as Bora gently stroked Bam’s long neck. 

“Come on then guys. Lunch will be ready soon,” he said as he stood and stretched. He hooked Bam’s leash to his collar and held onto it with one hand, the other taking hold of the out stretched tiny hand, ready for her brother to lead her home.

"Hmmmm." Surge hummed, holding a knobby looking mushroom. "Kit said this was one of the good ones, right?" She cautiously brought it up to her moth before a sudden smack to her head made her drop it.

Surge yelped, before she turned and shouted. "Hey! watch where… what?" She stared in gobsmacked awe as her doppelganger stood with her hands on her hips. Pines Surge wasn't sure what shocked her more, seeing a walking mirror of herself or the outfit Jade Surge was wearing. "Is that a skirt?" she said incredulously.

Tails had mentioned something about this, when they started getting odd messages on the scanner he sent their way. 'wormholes from other realities might happen from time-to-time, they correct themselves quickly, don't worry about it.' He also assured her none of this is 'cannon', whatever the hell that means.

"It's 'traditional Holangi attire'" Jade Surge said with a huff, "Not my idea, doing it for my sister, what is that?" she said, similarly taken back by Pines Surge's outfit.

Looking down at herself with a raised eyebrow, Pines Surge said. "It's flannel and jeans, just some old stuff Saffron had in her closet." She paused a moment before adding "Uh, shit, yeah I should explain, so-"

"-and that's what we know so far."

Jade Surge whistled, taken aback by it all. "That's a lot." The two of them were sat next to each other, under a maple tree with only a handful of leaves remaining.

"You're telling me!" Pines Surge said, throwing her hands up. "It's all messing with my head. Like, spending time with them has been good, but it feels like I'm… I dunno, 'intruding'? They're Saffron's family, and I'm… I'm not her, but…"

"…but you also kind of are?" Jade Surge finished.

Pines Surge breathed out through her nose as she pulled up her knees to her chest. "Yeah."

Nodding, Jade Surge said. "I get that, yeah. Dealing with some similar shit."

"At least you remember some of it." Pines Surge said bitterly.

"Hey." Jade Surge said warningly. "It ain't all sunshine and rainbows, you think this is confusing now? Try keeping who you are straight when keep getting flashes of your old life."

Pines Surge unfurled from her curled up posture. "But that'd be so much easier! if you remember, then you're just her, you're Min-ji!"

"It ain't that simple!" Jade Surge said, agitation creeping into her voice. "For one, I don't remember everything, just bits and pieces. Second, being Min-ji doesn't stop me from being Surge. At least… at least that's what Sang-mi says." She trailed off, avoiding eye contact.

"That's… your sister, right?" Pines Surge asked.

Jade Surge pulled out her phone and tapped a few times before turning it to show her other self. On the screen was herself, Jewel, Kit, and a much taller tenrec, smiling serenely.

"Woah, she kind of looks like Anise… " Her eyes suddenly went wide and she said, "wait, you're the younger sister?!"

Shaking her head, Jade Surge said. "Nope, just short."

"Ha!" Pines Surge mocked, before getting smacked again. "Ow! cut it out!"

"Stop being a dumbass then." Jade Surge said, folding her arms.

The pair exchanged stories of their new families until with a sudden pop, Jade Surge was gone, leaving Pines Surge alone as her doppelganger returned to her world. She sat there in silence for a while, with only the howling wind keeping her company.
