Thinking about Garrus again and how much I appreciate his character, his development, his search for perspective and how it shapes his relationship with Shepard.
He always wants to do the Right Thing, as in Achieve X Positive End Goal, but the way there is so murky to him. So tough to navigate, to visualize. He likes when it's clear and when it's simple, but it simply never fucking is, so he has to Think It Through. And he simply cannot trust anyone else to do the thinking for him. He can't trust them to value the Right Thing as much as he does. He can't trust them to want it as badly.
and then, ENTER SHEPARD STAGE LEFT, and finally he finds someone that he can trust. With all of it. He can Tell she wants it just as badly, but the difference is, she seems to also have an idea of how to get there.
I've seen people complain that he has no backbone and just agrees with whatever Shepard says, and it's likeโฆ they don't get it. He needs someone in his life who he can trust to think things through with him, to meet him where he's at and to engage in good faith. She is the Only person he would ever cede to, the only authority he'll accept, because she has proven herself to care just as much as he cares.
(As a side note, that's also how I view his infamous elevator talks. He's not approaching these conversations closed-mindedly even if his word choice is often lacking or people take offense to his straight-forwardness. As I said, the path is murky for him. He's asking because he genuinely wants to know. He's practically desperate for another point of view. He wants to understand.)
He's the only character who constantly asks Shepard for her opinion on things, on morality issues and approaches and how she'd navigate all the little pitfalls that line the road to Justice. And over the games he recognizes that even this lofty end goal is anything but simple, and it's shaped by how they get there. He doesn't talk these things through with her just to follow her direction like a soldier following orders. Him accepting her response, no matter what it is, is him respecting her so much and believing so much in her true desire for achieving Justice - it's not blanket agreeing with her.
This happens so often in ME3: he'll ask, and she'll respond, and he will accept her answer without judgement, but you never hear him say "you're so right, o my moral compass". He's just mapping the path that's ahead, and he takes her opinion as much into account as his own, but that doesn't mean that he doesn't have his own or that it always aligns with hers. He wants the full picture, and at that point, he is humble enough to know that his opinion is subjective, so he needs more points of view and more intel, and there is none that he values more than Shepard's.
But it's not all for himself. They're both stuck in the same, horrible situation. He's asking her, and in turn she has to think about it and really consider all the pitfalls he's already identified but isn't sure how to approach. He's a safe sounding board for her. They think it through together, her as this unstoppable force towards the Right Thing, him as the one in the sniper's perch who sights the path ahead and calls out to her when there's a wall before she can run head-first into it. In the end, they're two people united in their striving for the same thing, two halves of a well-oiled machine. No Shepard without Vakarian.
#mass effect#garrus vakarian#this applies in literally any context romance or no romance#but i'll tag it anyway#shakarian#fuck I'm just so obsessed with him.#so many people completely misunderstand where he's coming from#and it's a little sad but it's okay because at least Shepard gets it#she always gets him#who's mshep never heard of him btw#milky.txt

Celebratory Sim Dump!! (the sequel)
I am very very late to do this, but, I'm releasing a sim dump to celebrate 100 followers!! ๐
That's so cool!! Thank you so much everyone who follows, likes, comments, or even interacts at all with my posts!! It means so much to me, really, and I'm so grateful for every interaction, big or small ๐๐
But enough of the cheesy thank yous, onward to the sims!!
Here are eight cc free sims, all Young Adults, for download!! All have two skills set to level three as well as set careers (also at level three). Do as you'd like with them, but I did write out little blurbs for them as a starter ๐๐
~ download (google drive) ~
[sim info below cut]
A little about the sims...
Mara McCoy (she/her) - Friend of the Animals, Cat Lover, Loner, Jealous - Mara ran away from home as a teen and never looked back (was actually a sim I used for a runaway teen challenge that I didn't finish ๐
). She prefers plants and cats to people but can occasionally be persuaded to socialize.
Delany Milton (she/her) - Academic Success, Ambitious, Perfectionist, Bookworm - Delany has an intense love of both teaching and learning. She never got the chance to go to college to become a full fledged teacher or professor, but she hopes that one day she'll finally be able to achieve her goals and move beyond her assistant teaching position, or (since it's the sims) work her way up through the ranks.
Jonas Mosher (he/him) - Master Actor, Cheerful, Childish, Glutton - You might recognize him from the teen a day challenge, but now he's a young adult and striving to be an acting superstar! He's still best friends with Courtney.
Courtney Cason (she/her) - Joke Star, Goofball, Unflirty, Erratic - Also from the teen a day challenge! She's on her way to becoming a famous comedian, having started gigs in comedy clubs when she was still a teenager. She's still best friends with Jonas.
Jennifer Nora (they/them) - Archaeology Scholar, Clumsy, Family Oriented, Loves the Outdoors - Jennifer loves archaeology and has dreams of publishing their findings and uncovering ancient artifacts that will cement them in scientific history! They're very close with family and friends (especially their cousin, Blake, who's like a brother to them).
Kellan Stanford (he/him) - Neighborhood Confidant, Gloomy, Outgoing, Lactose Intolerant - Kellan is a very social character. He's always hanging around others, even strangers. There aren't many that can tell you exactly how they met him.. He just sort of appears and is seamlessly integrated into social circles. He's a good sim to know, though, as he's great at giving advice, earning himself the title of neighborhood confidant.
Ernest Porter (he/him) - Master Chef, Good, Foodie, Squeamish - Ernest has big dreams of master chef stardom. However his squeamish and very picky nature tends to lead him more towards baking rather than cooking. One day he hopes to open his own restaurant/bakery combo.
Grant Meade (they/them) - Friend of the World, Loyal, Paranoid, Freegan - A chaotic entity, Grant spends most of their time chilling in whoever's basement they're currently crashing in while crafting conspiracy theories about how the sim world is going to end. Despite their eccentrics, they're a good friend, and will always be the first on the scene should any of their companions need help.
#another one of these is on the way#๐๐#because this one took me so long that now i have to get caught up on milestones#anyway#i wasn't sure if i liked them but they've grown on me#๐๐๐#sims#sims 4#sims 4 screenshots#sim dump#sim download#sims 4 download#sims 4 dump#ts4#ts4 download#ts4 screenshots#follower gift#cc free#original sims#moonfromearth#long post

Zoe couldn't wait to take these assessments. She was surprised at most of them!
๐
๐๐๐๐๐๐ฐ ๐๐๐๐
๐๐๐
Zoe IS like a wild cat - fierce and independent! She's always on the move, and you can never predict her next move. She's got this natural grace and poise that makes her stand out from the crowd. You can tell she's always in control and won't let anyone or anything bring her down. But that's what makes her so fascinating - you can never reasonably predict what she'll do next. She's a force to be reckoned with, and you can't help but admire her. Sometimes, though, she can get a little too distant and aloof. It's like she's so focused on her own goals that she forgets to connect with others. But that's just part of her wild nature. She's just too captivating and enigmatic to ignore.
๐๐๐๐๐๏ฟฝ๏ฟฝ๏ฟฝ๐๐ ๐ฐ ๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐
I have to admit, I was surprised when Zoe got sorted into Slytherin's Hogwarts house. I always thought she was more of a Hufflepuff or maybe even Gryffindor. But the more I get to know her, the more I understand why she would end up in Slytherin. Zoe's got a fierce determination and an unwavering ambition that I've never written in another muse. She's always willing to do what it takes to get what she wants, and she's not afraid to take risks. And even though she may come across as a bit intimidating at times, she's also fiercely loyal to those she cares about. A full 360, I think Zoe is a perfect fit for Slytherin.
๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐ฐ ๐๐๐ ๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐
Zoe is undoubtedly an achiever, a type three enneagram who is highly driven and motivated to succeed. She is ambitious and goal-oriented, always striving to be the best version of herself in all areas of life. Zoe is such a hard worker that she doesn't shy away from putting in extreme efforts to achieve her dreams. She is also highly adaptable and able to pivot and adjust her approach when faced with challenges or setbacks. She falls forward. Zoe has a keen eye for detail and is highly organized, which allows her to stay on top of her game. She is a natural leader and enjoys taking charge of projects, inspiring and motivating others to work towards a common goal. Despite her focus on achievement, Zoe is also highly compassionate and caring towards others. She values the relationships she makes deeply and goes out of her way to support and uplift those around her. She's driven to make a positive impact on the world and wants others by her side.
๐๐๐๐ ๐ฐ ๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐ (๐ฌ๐บ๐ป๐ท)
It's fascinating to discover that Zoe has an Entrepreneur ESTP personality type. This implies that she is a natural-born leader with a talent for taking risks and making quick decisions. Zoe is a practical and realistic person who is always on the lookout for new opportunities to explore. She has a hands-on approach to problem-solving and is always ready to take action. Zoe's attention to detail is impeccable, and she is known for her ability to think on her feet. She is incredibly skilled and competent, and her passion for learning and improving is evident in everything she does. Zoe's unique combination of traits makes her a force to be reckoned with in both her personal and professional life.

APRIL 15th, p. DYSTOPIA - 2024, e. ยฑ289.927361!! ฮป-3 - in-systemia Lagrangian int. still E(b) 4ฯMw/gยฒ
To survive this dystopia - and the war in the future to come - to survive this dark city, an even bigger understanding was necessary.
But all of this leads back to just one critical error.
To be here, in this potential, is to accept the ruin of the world.
Surely, universal architects would not allow this.
Eccentric, uncapturable probabilities this reality was destined for; could all laws really bend to this?
That's right, we saw the scene that they strived to see for the entirety of existence. This is what wars are fought for, and the enslavement we endured came from. Isn't it the greatest insult that someone like us should see their greatest goal? Isn't it ironic? But isn't that her style, also? The reversal of oppression. If she were forced to wear these uniforms, then she should do so with pride, and make it her own. Her own style, her own petulance turned into good will. So, she took what they always wanted to see, and now held it: Esteemed, it must therefore be "apotheosis."
I understand now why we suffered like so. Every little thing, that pained me so greatly, I saw it there: The truth is there, you know, this is what they wanted most of all. But you cannot have it with force. It's impossible. I can't describe it to you, though I stood there by her side. No, that's wrong; I saw her turning back to meโโradiant and splendid, exactly like the first time I met her, saw her. These scenes replay like ripples, here is the TruthโโHow nice and pleasant it was, illuminaryโโthe feeling was that of being in utero, the one I was ripped from and deprivedโโisn't she like a mother? Or perhaps sister ?โโIt's as though she had no sin, none at all. Why else was she granted this? By whom? Did "they really fight to achieve this", never having gotten it? All these years? And don't they know, to be here, was just to see her smile? I could see everything, and all of the truth, All truth is there, but I simply watched her. I already knew the reason for the pain in my arm, my neurological condition. Yes, I knew what happened in ะะพััะพะบ, now. But I am only just watching her, as she turns around and watches like it is almost below, almost as if we were in the sky.
And from there, I understood completely, the intertwined past and future. Whether it was me, or her, or that of a hymn being sung to us, I heard, but I also saw, simultaneously, everything leading up to us here, together. Now I know that she will be gone, and she will be leaving me; yet she is here, and I understand what it was that led us here. I am desperately fighting this feeling, and this anxiety of the unknown; though I know it already. What a strange feeling after all, that I also understood why I must have forgotten everything since. Maybe she was the one telling me, isn't that so? When she falls, she'll leave the rest to me. But how would I go on without her? Understanding this, and understanding the enigmatic theorem she left in full, I cannot bear the sadness and loneliness. All she can do now is smile, and almost laugh like always. We're standing here in our fatigues, and yet we were lying down in the shrapnel before. My eye has long since been lost, but I see in depth clearly. Her arm, too, was cleanly blown off, but she's holding me, now.
ใๆญปใฎไธญใใฎ็ง็กๆตใจ็ด ๆตใซใชใใใใ
"In death, I will be invincible ็กๆต lit. muteki; I will surely be ็ด ๆต lit. suteki splendid."
How strange it is, to see past and future, here in the present. It really is "apotheosis", this really is "truth"; you really do become invincibleโโthis really is like a dreamโโit's too real.
Coming down from this, is like the lingering taste of sweetness, melting away.

Silco put far more value in Sevika than Vander did. He'd always had, even before the fall out. There was more to her than just her appearance, which in itself showed how intimidating she could be. There was a brilliance there that Vander never capitalized on. She knew how to get things done and wasn't afraid to do what had to be done, but did not do so mindlessly. Most importantly she was loyal. Which was why it enraged him so when he'd learned that upon his 'disappearance' that he'd all but left her to the side. That he'd been so easily replaced by Benzo.
That was why when she found him, he'd be so relieved. He didn't even hesitate to propose the offer to join his side. Because as much as Vander had changed, they hadn't. Vander might have abandoned the goal they strived for but he didn't. Silco and Sevika were kindred spirits in that regard, they shared a sentiment that Vander didn't. In order to achieve their goal, it required action. Not just playing lapdog to the very people that condemned them. They had conviction and she had chosen without a second thought.
This also meant that he valued her words above everyone else's If anyone could get through to him when he needed it, it was her. And it was only her who got a glimpse of the man behind the mask he carefully crafted. Silco trusted Sevika with her loyalty, knowing that she would also keep him grounded if weakness changed him, like it had Vander. Trusted her enough to want no one else at his side.
Silco watched carefully as Sevika made her way over, knelt in front of him. "Vander allowed himself to be changed, influenced, but that fire was still there even if it was in embers." He rested a hand on Sevika's shoulder, a hint of a small smile tugged at the corner of his lips. "He was weak, but you, you were always the strongest of all of us. You never betrayed the cause, never swayed and for that you've always had my appreciation."
"You saved me from that explosion, for that I cannot truly repay you, except maybe in this manner." A hand was extended towards her now, both an offer to help her up and an unofficial sealing of the deal. As his deputy, it would be a lot of responsibility but he knew she could handle it. She always could. "Vander was holding her back, but together we can help unlock that potential inside her, help it find its direction. That little monkey bomb was just a taste of what we can show her."
Once more he returned his attention to the girl, deep in thought. "Her sister had potential, but Jinx...I think she'll far surpass anything she could ever achieve." Silco wasn't quite sure why how or how, just felt that it would become a reality. It was going to be perfect.
Silco watched as the small child twitched in her slumber, knew already that he had his work cut out for him. That the trauma of the night would play a role in how careful he'd had to be. Was already planning on lessons. "I know this will be a lot on you, but can I count on you to train her?" He finally turned his attention away from sapphire locks. "She would benefit from your quick thinking and expertise."
Sevika had been unconscious during the time frame, in which Silco had found the girl. And while her boss would have cut others off with a fairly easy answer, he and Sevika had a different dynamic. He trusted her with glimpses into not just that brilliant and ruthless mind of his, but also into those wrought and pained emotions, which he kept on such a tight leash.
As Silco claimed the girl might be of use, Sevika raised one of her brows in silent doubt. She looked back down at Powder. The behemoth of a woman remembered how the little girl had been in The Last Drop when she had been around her sister and the other foundlings. What were the boy's names? Mylo and Claggor? Either way, Sevika remembered how the taller of them had constantly berated and belittled Powder, making her shrink in on herself. There was no telling how meagre in demeanour that girl would be once she woke up. Silco had his work cut out for him.
"Be careful with that projection, Silco", Sevika warned, "Not that it clouds your judgement." She leaned back and finished her bourbon glass. "Vander was not immediately the soft spineless man. We both remember the man, he used to be. The one, who never backed down from a fight. The one with fire in his veins and eyes. Not sure how you did it, boss, but you always knew what to say to make that fire burn ever brighter."
She put the glass down on the wooden table with a soft clink. "His change was slow", Sevika recounted, "Not immediate. I know you ain't Vander, Silco, and believe me, if I suspect you are becoming even a sliver like him, I am gonna give you one bad wake-up call."
Her head turned as she watched Silco walk over and caress the girl's cheek. At his touch, her lips twitched a smidge, revealing the pointy fangs, she had in her mouth. She was whimpering or maybe growling in her sleep, mumbling the word "jinx" once every while.
As Silco spoke again, all her attention was on him. There was the crime lord, Sevika had sworn her loyalty to, even when she had still worked for Vander. Though working for Vander was a bit of a euphemism. It had been a long time since she had last been properly integrated into his own gang structure, something she should have seen coming when Vander after Silco's mysterious disappearance failed to announce a new deputy. Sevika remembered the ire she had felt at seeing Benzo step beside Vander during this conversation in the same vein a deputy might have stood.
That's Silco's spot, you thief!
"You won't let me forget this any time soon, are yah?", asked Sevika when Silco brought up that it was Powder's horrendously improvised bomb which was the reason she now missed an arm, "I reckon you do have a point. The kid has potential. Wildly undirected potential right now, but potential nonetheless."
There was a warm, open surprise on her face as Silco asked Sevika if she was alright with being his deputy. Sevika had done many kinds of work in her lifetime, drifting from gang to gang. The crossed-out sigils, tattooed on her body, were a testament to her years and her fine sensibilities on which gang was worth backing. Yet at the same time, she had never strived to become a deputy, even though she could absolutely qualify for that position.
Sevika rose from her seat and stepped around the wooden table. Stopping before Silco, she graciously dropped to one knee and bowed her head. Her voice carried a soft, raspy tone as she spoke: "It would be my honour, boss."

omg i love atla's universe and i love beyond evil! can we have your list of the characters' hc as benders? pretty please๐ i love going through people's hc~
RIGHT anon, so i had to take a second to write this out bc OHOHOOO
so i headcanon'd joo won as a firebender, in part because of his attitude, but also how i feel like he just has that duality in him, what with fire being able to destroy something but also bring something to life, which is exactly how i see joo won and how he goes about his whole life. (also, a nod to iroh's whole speech on the elements: those of the fire nation have desire and will to achieve exactly what they want, which i think sums han joo won up nicely. sometimes that's a good thing, other times it's a bad thing, just depending on what the goal is.)
i see dong sik as a waterbender, in part because i love the fire/water duality, but also because something about how waterbenders always seem to prioritize community (think the water tribes, the swamp people). i think dong sik is someone who was always at the heart of his community, whether he necessarily wanted to be or not--but more than that, he also is someone who's had to adapt to so many of the changes in his life. there's something to be said about how he really had no choice when it came to adapting, but i see him as a waterbender just because of how he looks at a problem and works his way to getting what he wants, rather than crumbling apart. (needing to be fluid, needing to move with the tides of change, even if he hates it . . . very waterbender of him.)
i see jae yi and ji hoon as airbenders--jae yi, because she's someone who strives after freedom first and foremost. that's not to say that she's completely detached from her home, but we see that she looks outward, and she takes breaks when she needs to. she'll always find her way back home, but that desire to break herself free has always struck me as airbender of her. i kind of see ji hoon in the similar boat, just because of that one time he'd sounded so resentful about having to be stuck in manyang. like jae yi, i think he does crave a bit of freedom or movement outside of the town (which is made more interesting when we look at the script book, which notes that ji hoon had, at one point, actually been .. . . a part of a failed kpop group).
ji hwa strikes me as a an earthbender, just because something something about how she has that same attitude that's so reminiscent of lin beifong, ngl--but also, just the fact that ji hwa is just so no-nonsense. she definitely has her own secrets, but she still faces confrontation as head-on as she can: batting away lee chang jin, straight up asking han joo won if he has a problem with her, etc. all the signs of an earthbender.
the only character who i'm not totally sure of is probably park jeong je. he strikes me as an airbender in some ways (although that might just be because of his speech pattern, and how he too craves freedom), and also because i like the image of him holding a tiny tornado in his hand.
but as for other headcanons . . . god, i have this image in my head of dong sik bending the raindrops around him and joo won so that it doesn't hit their heads . . . . or joo won holding a little flame in a power outage, the flame only barely lighting dong sik and his own face (y'know, like that scene in the secret tunnel episode between katara and aang) . . . oh, and i can see ji hoon and jae yi racing each other on gliders in the skies, and ji hwa just stomping her foot to create a little earthquake if she's pissed.

In that 2016 interview, Isayama spoke of Eren and Mikasa's eventual separation being ideological: 'If I were to draw the separation of Eren and Mikasa... Mikasa would have to endure the strain of being stuck between Eren and Armin. Even though she can sympathise with Armin, who considers things from a "globalism" perspective, it's possible that she can't just let the more self-focused Eren go'. This ideological separation begins the moment Eren defects from the SC. It's from this point onwards that EMA's paths truly begin to diverge, and Mikasa in particular is presented with a choice that she's never had to face before.
The choice she makes will most likely conclude Mikasa's character arc once and for all, and it's a choice that's been building since before the time-skip, represented by her interactions with two characters in particular:
1. Mikasa and Floch
At the award ceremony in Chapter 90, Floch points out something interesting about Mikasa in what is otherwise an easily overlooked moment in the manga. Although multiple people were present on the rooftop during Serumbowl, he is the only one to explicitly draw attention to the fact that Mikasa let go. She resigned herself to losing Armin because Hanji convinced her that Erwin was more important to humanity and Mikasa's grief at losing him was something that would pass.Floch sees this as maturity, but the realisation that she was willing to let Armin go for the sake of humanity is something that Mikasa is shocked by. It makes her falter, and let go of Eren.
Mikasa has always defined herself as Armin and Eren's protector; she's presented in the story as such, and she styles herself as such. She's the one who keeps Eren and Armin safe. But Floch's words make her realise that, on the rooftop, she was able to step away from that role - because her world has expanded beyond Armin and Eren. It has expanded to include Hanji and Levi and the other Scouts - and humanity.
Mikasa is capable of making choices that hurt her deeply for the sake of a greater cause.
2. Louise and Mikasa
Louise meets Mikasa on three occasions. The first time, Louise tells Mikasa she likes her because Mikasa saved her, and gave her something to strive for: 'You can't save anyone without power. It's okay for us to fight against unjust violence. That's what I learned' (109). In the same way Eren 'gave' Mikasa a motto to live by, Mikasa gave one to Louise.
The second time, Louise tells Mikasa that she's happy to be by her side again, fighting for the same goal. Mikasa is ambivalent towards her. And she leaves her scarf behind, choosing to go and fight the titans without it.
In between the second and third meetings, Mikasa talks to Armin. When Mikasa asks what should be done about Eren, Armin replies (due to bottling up stress and frustration) that there's nothing to be done and he doesnt know. After Armin leaves, Mikasa notices that the scarf is missing, and goes to retrieve it.
The third and last time they meet, Louise is dying. She tells Mikasa that Eren wanted her to throw the scarf away, but she thought that she could take it to be close to Mikasa. Though she appears to sympathise with Louise's plight, Mikasa demands the scarf back from her. She walks away from Louise even as Louise tells her that she had no regrets, because she chased after Mikasa, devoting her heart.
Each meeting between Louise and Mikasa mirrors, in an abbreviated way, the different stages Eren and Mikasa's relationship has gone through. 1: Louise's initial love and gratitude, and her taking Mikasa as an inspiration; 2: their fighting side by side as equals; and, finally, 3: their literal separation as Mikasa chooses to walk away.
Mikasa never seeks to stop Louise from talking about her feelings; instead, she listens. She might not reciprocate, but she does understand. She walks away, but she takes the scarf with her. Despite what Armin said, and what Louise told her about Eren and the scarf, Mikasa chooses to keep a hold of it in the way she keeps a hold of the hope that Eren can still be brought back.
Mikasa is capable of holding on to the person she loves even when he's gone too far.
Mikasa Chooses... Mikasa
Despite the apparently binary choice, Mikasa doesn't have to choose to side with Eren (allow the Rumbling to go ahead) or with the opt: kill Eren to stop him. She said it herself: there's a third option. Her way. Eren's wandered so far down his path that he's lost sight of Mikasa and of Armin; of what connects him to the world. Mikasa chooses, not to support him or to believe that he's a lost cause, but to remind him that walking away from his humanity doesn't mean that he can't turn around and walk back.
Kruger said 'Anyone can become a god or a devil. All it takes is for someone to claim it for it to be true' (88). But if there's someone to challenge that belief, then the possibility remains of breaking the facade and setting the story straight - thereby freeing that person from the role they've either taken on out of necessity, or been assigned. It's something we've already seen happen. All it takes is for one person to question it, and the goddess falls apart to reveal an empty, unloved young girl, or the devil's mask cracks open to show the boy still grieving for the world he's lost.
Ymir knows that Historia's faking it; Mikasa knows that Eren is kind. Each of them challenges the story that their loved one is telling in order to keep going: Historia to survive, Eren to achieve his dream.
It took Mikasa years to truly overcome the cruelty she had seen as a child. Despite everything, she did, in the end, go back to being that 'ordinary girl'. She came to acknowledge that cruelty exists, as does death - but life must nevertheless be lived, people loved, experiences had, and faith kept. Seeing the beauty in a world that is inherently cruel is, and always has been, Mikasa's greatest strength. It's something she is capable of offering Eren, who no longer seems to believe in that duality, or in his own humanity. She can show him what he showed her; that the world isn't black or white, cruel or beautiful, dark or light. It's both. And it's possible to live with that.
Conclusion
Mikasa is fighting to prevent a massacre and stop eren. She's the person best suited to do that not only because she's his family, but because Eren's despair and anger at the world is what she might have ended up with herself. If any character could have become as bitter about the world as him, it was Mikasa. But he stopped that from happening because his kindness showed her that the world, as bad as it was, had good in it.
Little by little, Eren's abandoned that view of the world himself. He no longer sees both its beauty and its cruelty, but has confined himself to seeing - and acting on - only one. When they fought Annie in Stohess, Mikasa had to remind Eren that the world was cruel, because Eren had lost sight of that truth. Now, Eren's lost sight of another, equally valid truth; that the world, as cruel as it is, is also beautiful. That he, as inhuman as he thinks he is, is also kind.
If Mikasa manages to 'bring Eren back', she'll have come full circle. She started off as a little girl who was seeking something, anything, to hold on to. She needed a saviour, and she got one in the form of Eren. In this scenario, she'll end as a saviour herself, someone who is now able to pass on the light that she once received. Her fear of the world and of losing her loved ones subsided; she managed to find the warmth she needed to carry on.

here's my girl hallura! the best thing about her is that she's decisive about the things she wants. she commits to her goals and pursues them until she achieves everything. sometimes it can get her in trouble, but her heart is in the right place, and she's powerful because she'll keep on trying to reach the finish line until she succeeds!
In reference and in the spirit of this post right here, please reblog this with a screenshot of your character along with their name andย your favorite thing about them.
