Haters whining that Steve would be oh so sad if Robin and Nancy got together makes me actually want to see it. Toxic friend Steve who is irrationally mad at Robin for "dating his ex" and Robin actually feels... so heartbroken that her best friend is turning against her like this. She doesn't understand - she's loved Nancy for years and Nancy loves her back. She's finally gathered the courage to ask her out and Nancy said yes. She didn't hate her, didn't shun her, didn't find her disgusting or sick - she loved her back. And for the first time in her life, Robin feels a little bit hopeful for her future - she's loveable and loved and she's not doomed to life alone as her friends move on and marry and have kids. She has someone who understands this fear and horror and happiness in a way no one but another girl like her could, and she thought... she thought Steve would be happy for her. She finally found love.
But Steve is just offended that she'd choose hoes over bros or whatever.

Chapter Five- Part Three
Phina and Nancy make their way to the field, hearing Jonathan's gun going off. Once they get to the grassy area, they see him shooting at some cans set up on tree stumps.
Phina smiles at her friend as he misses every single shot. Nancy also smiles in amusement.
"You're supposed to hit the cans, right," Nancy asks as they get closer.
Jonathan looks at the girls and smiles, "no actually, you see the spaces between the cans? I'm aiming for those."
"Well then you're a perfect shot Jonathan," Phina smirks sarcastically.
He does a little fake bow, making Phina snort. She loved when he was sarcastic, he learned it all from her.
Nancy sets her things down, Phina following suit. Jonathan starts to reload the gun.
"You ever shot a gun before," he asks Nancy.
Nancy laughs, "have you met my parents."
Jonathan snorts, "yeah, I haven't shot one since I was ten. My dad took me hunting on my birthday, he made me kill a rabbit."
"A rabbit," Nancy asks.
"Yeah," he shrugs, "guess he thought it would make me into more of a man or something. I cried for a week."
"I remember that, I went over and had to take all of your meals to your room cause you wouldn't leave," Phina says.
"Jesus," Nancy whispers.
Jonathan looks at her, "I'm a fan of thumper."
"I meant your dad," she says, sighing a little.
"Yeah. Lonnie's a real PoS," Phina laughs, "doesn't care about anyone but himself."
Jonathan nods, "yeah, I guess he and my mother loved each other at some point. But I wasn't around for that part."
Nancy gestures for him to hand her the gun and he looks down awkwardly, "yeah, just uh, point and shoot."
Nancy nods and takes the gun, "I don't think my parents ever loved each other."
"Must of married for some reason," Jonathan says.
Nancy raises the gun up, "my mom was young, my dad was older, but he had a cushy job, money, came from a good family. So, they bought a nice house at the end of a cul-de-sac, and they started their nuclear family."
Jonathan shakes his head, taking a glance at Phina who just nods, "screw that."
"Yeah." Nancy closes one eye to aim. "Screw that."
She shoots, the bullet hitting one of the cans. She smiles and looks at Jonathan, who smiles back. Phina looks in between the two of them with a wide smile. Perfect.
-
The three teens walked through the forest, Phina leading about twenty feet ahead. Nancy and Jonathan hung back, together, and Phina didn't mind one bit. She looked around the forest ahead of her, admiring its beauty. By now, almost every single tree had lost all of their leaves, which now crunched beneath Phina's boots.
Phina sighed, she loved being in the forest, it brought her a comfort that couldn't be found anywhere else, it even soothed her ever on going headache. Something about the way the trees reached for the sky, as if grasping for heaven, with its claws out. The roots of the tree shielding her from the damned below.
Not to mention the colors. Her artists soul yearned for any and all color she could find, the forest bloomed with it. Even this deep into fall, the fiery oranges and reds calling out to her fiery heart. She wish she had her sketchbook and her colored pencils. She'd capture the essence of its beauty on a page.
She was brought out of her mind by the sound of Nancy's voice, "you never said what I was saying."
"What," Jonathan asks her, confused.
"Yesterday, you said I was saying something, and that's why you took my picture," she explains.
"Oh, I don't know," he says, flustered, "I guess I saw this girl, you know, trying to be someone else. But in that moment, it was like you were alone, or, you thought you were. You know, you could just be yourself."
Silence, and then Nancy speaks, "that is such bullshit!"
Phina turns around as Jonathan says, "what?"
They had all stopped, and Nancy turned to Jonathan, "I am not trying to be someone else. Just because I'm dating Steve and you don't like him."
Jonathan shakes his head and starts walking again, "you know what, forget it. I just thought it was a good picture."
Nancy walks after him, "he is actually a good guy."
"Ok," Jonathan says sarcastically.
"Yesterday, with the camera." They both stop again. "He's not like that, at all. He was just being protective."
"Yeah, that one word for it," Jonathan says, waking away again.
Phina rolls her eyes as Nancy says, "oh and I guess what you did was ok?"
"No, I never said that," he defends himself.
"He has every right to be pissed," Nancy shouts at him.
Jonathan stops again and turns around, "ok, alright, does that mean I have to like him?"
Nancy stops, "no."
"Listen, don't take it so personally ok," he says and steps towards her, "I don't like most people. He's in the vast majority."
He turns and walks away, again. How long are they gonna play this stupid game? Phina groans to herself.
Nancy looks around, "you know, I was actually starting to think you were ok."
Jonathan stops, again, "yeah?"
"Yeah," Nancy answers, "yeah. I was thinking, Jonathan Byers, maybe he's not the pretentious creep everyone says he is."
"Guys," Phina groans, trying to stop their stupid bickering, she was getting irritated now.
Jonathan starts to walk back towards Nancy, "oh I was just staring to think you were ok. I was thinking, Nancy Wheeler, maybe she's not just another suburban girl, that thinks she rebelling by doing exactly what every other suburban girl does, until that phase passes and they marry some boring one time jock who now works sales, who lives out her perfectly boring life at the end of a cul-de-sac, exactly like their parents who they thought were so depressing."
"Would both of you shut the hell up! Right now, you both suck, and I couldn't give a damn about who's wrong or right. I'm out here to find whatever took Will and Barb, so save your petty bullshit for the high school where all these stupid little arguments belong. Got it! Good," Phina yells at them fed up with their crap.
They look at her like scolded children, both of them nodding.
"Now shut the hell up and look for this gods damned thing," she growls and turns on her heel in the direction they were previously walking.
They follow her with their heads down, not noticing the shift in the trees. Not noticing how the branches coiled and uncoiled, copying the motion of Phina's clenching and unclenching fist.
-
Night time had fallen, and Phina had slowed down to be next to her sister and Jonathan, for safety. They pointed their flashlights ahead, walking and listening to the forest around them.
Phina stopped, listening to a noise she had heard. Nancy stops to, also hearing the noise.
Jonathan turns to the girls, more so towards Nancy, "what, are you tired?"
"Shut your sarcastic ass up Byers," Phina whispers, listening harder.
"What," Jonathan asks, a little shocked at her words.
Nancy sushes him, "I heard something."
Phina nods, pointing her light in the direction the noise is coming from. She walks towards it and the other two follow.
The noise becomes clearer, a distressed and painful whimper. As they got closer, Phina felt her heart painfully lurch.
A deer lays on its side, injured, bleeding everywhere. Phina covers her mouth, to keep a small cry from escaping. She kneels down next to the doe, reaching a hand out to stroke her.
Nancy kneels besides her, "it's been hit by a car."
Phina nods, tears building in her eyes.
Nancy looks back at Jonathan, "we can't just leave it."
Nancy grabs the gun she had sat down and looks at it, Phina shifts back a little as her sister aims.
"I'll do it," Jonathan says, noting Nancy's distraught face.
"I," she starts to protest, remembering his story from earlier.
He grabs the gun, "I'm not nine anymore."
Phina looks into the animals eyes, you'll be ok. The animal stares back, an almost thankful look in its eyes. Then it's being pulled back, almost to quickly for Phina's eyes to process. She falls backwards and into her sister, who helps her up from the ground.
They all breathe heavily, "what was that?"
"I'm willing to bet that's what we came here for. Come on," Phina waves, tracking the trail of blood the deer left behind.
The other two hesitate, glancing at each other before following. The blood on the leaves glisten in Phina's light. Jonathan and Nancy shine their lights around, Jonathan holding the gun up as well.
The trail suddenly stops, making Phina stop and look around.
"Where did it go," Nancy asks shakily.
"I don't know," Jonathan breathes, "Do you see any more blood."
"The trails gone, like it vanished into thin air," Phina answers.
Phina turns and walks away from the two, Nancy almost doesn't notice, but when she does, she follows. Jonathan, unfortunately, doesn't notice.
Phina shines her light on a tree, for some reason, it calls to her. At the base of to tree is a hole, which emits a low noise that sounds more like a growl than anything.
"Phina, what are you..."
Nancy looks at the tree and then at her sister. They creep slowly over to the tree, bending down to look at it. A gooy substance is all over it, and blood. The girls look at each other, the same question on there mind, should we go in?
"Jonathan," Nancy shouts, but they had gone to far, he couldn't hear them.
"What could go wrong," Phina shrugs, she's read enough horror novels to know those where the most fatal words she could've said, but, she didn't give a damn.
She starts to climb into the whole, a sputtering Nancy going after her. They climb through the tunnel, coming out on the other side. Phina helped Nancy up and looked around.
It looked like the forest they were just in, but different, more sinister. Particles float around them in the air, the color of the forest void. It felt utterly wrong to Phina, yet familiar, like she had seen it before. No, she shakes her head, that's crazy.
The girls look around and start to walk away from the tree, their flashlights beginning to flicker. Phina hits hers a few times and it stops.
They jump as a noise comes from their right. They whirl their lights on it, and are met with the monster feeding on the deer.
Phina grips Nancy's hand, so tightly that she'd probably leave a bruise, but Nancy squeezes back just as hard. They slowly back away, one step at a time, staring at the monster. Nancy steps back and a strange vine thing crunches under her foot.
The monster turns towards them and roars loudly, it's mouth opening up just like the drawing Phina did of it. The girls bolt.
"Jonathan!"

AN: Let's get back to this, shall we? (P. S. I do not own the GIF of Steve spinning the bat!!!!)
—————
“You're thinking of what? Are you fucking stupid? You could get yourself killed!” Billy yelled at her, watching as she rolled up the sleeves of the new shirt she changed into.
“Now, you can see why I have to go. Jane, Jane could die if I'm not there. Hopper too, hell, maybe Will's mom. I'm not letting that happen.” Y/N spoke with a stern voice, eyes meeting his. “So, piss off. It's not like you give a shit anyway, Hargrove.”
“Listen, fuck, just listen to me, okay—”
“Didn't I say piss off?”
“You're not going.” A voice agreed from behind her, making Y/N chuckle and turn around. “You're not going to die, risking your life for us. Jane can do this.”
“For once, we fucking agree on something, Harrington.”
She bit her tongue, turning back away before placing her hands on the table. That's when Y/N’s brain processed everything. She got mad, no, she got pissed.
She wasn't going to be able to go. She wasn't going to be able to save her sister, or Hopper, or even Joyce—hell, she'd barely known Joyce and she already cared for her—and Will, Will's going to blame it all on her. She was furious. Slamming her hands on the table multiple times, she screamed.
Billy and Steve had clenched their bodies, waiting for the force of Y/N’s mind to throw them around.
But, it never came.
“No.” She whispered. Falling to her knees, tears fell instantly. “No, no, no. No, fuck, no, this can't be happening.”
—————
They didn't know what to do when Y/N had finally gotten up after crying and walked to the front door. Billy looked at Steve, and Steve looked at Billy, but their eyes came back to her.
“We're going. End of discussion.” She said, opening the door.
“Hey, you don't have your fucking powers any more, doll. You don't just get to push us around anymore.” Hargrove spoke up as he walked up to the girl, his fingertips lightly touching the front door. “So go sit the fuck down, and wait for everyone to get back.” With that, he pushed the door closed.
“Don't fucking tell me what to do.” Y/N uttered, eyes filled with anger. She would break his fucking neck if she could.
“Listen, princess—”
“Call me another name like that, and I'll knock you the fuck out, Hargrove.”
“I would really like to see you try.”
“Okay.”
Before Steve could comprehend what was happening, her fist smacked right into Billy's face—well, his nose and face, she'd punched him, twice. His head made a sharp left turn before he fell to the ground, unconscious and blood left pouring out of his nose. Her eyes caught Steve's and she sighed.
“Well, I mean, you did tell him.”
—————
“What happened to my brother?” Max pointed out the figure lying out cold on the floor, blood slightly dried now.
“I told him I’d knock him out—”
“He didn't believe her.” Steve finished.
“Well, okay then.”
“Thanks for the friendly chat and catching up while we've been in the basement or an hour or so, guys, but, uh, we have trouble.” Dustin spoke, pointing out the window. A small demogorgon was creeping up to the house, hissing and growling as it smelt blood.
And life.
“What do we do?” Mike asked, biting his lip slightly as he looked at everyone.
“Y/N could use her mi—” Lucas started but was interrupted when he saw Steve using his hand to motion it back and forth in front of his throat. “Wha?”
“Remember when I left to use the bathroom?” Max blurted out, eyes staring at the floor.
“Yeah?” Will questioned, voice fading at the end.
“I saw it, Steve.” She said, looking at the teen in his eyes and then at Y/N. “I saw you having your seizure. And it scared the hell out of me.” Max whispered, turning back to her friends. “That's why I came back to the basement, looking sick.”
“So that means—?” Lucas questioned, still not understanding.
“It means she doesn't have them, now. Or they're blocked.” Steve said, standing up and walking to the kitchen. When he reappeared—after stepping over Billy's body—he had his bat.
“Are those—?”
“Yeah.”
“And you—?”
“Kill those things with this, yes.” Steve said, twisting the bat in his hands. “Maybe we should move him. It would suck if he were to get eaten, or something. Keep that door closed?” He questioned Y/N, and watched her nod.
He placed the bat on the ground and helped the kids drag Billy's body to the next room with ease.
Y/N’s body jerked forward as the monster outside slammed into the door, trying to make its entrance. Steve had placed him down without a care, and his ears immediately caught Y/N’s voice from the other room.
“Steve!” She yelled, attempting to press even more weight against the door. “Steve! I can't—”
—————
His eyes snapped open and he stared at the ceiling for a good moment, it was twenty minutes, but in his mind, it was hours, before he heard a scream of ‘Steve!’ coming from a room, he definitely wasn't in. Standing up in one quick motion, the teen rubbed his nose and made a confused face before pulling his hand away.
“Steve! I can't—”
The dried blood on his fingertip made him come to a realization and he clenched his teeth together.
She fucking did knock me out.
Did he have time to actually think about it? No.
So he ran out of the room he was in and into the living room, his eyes widening at the sight before him. Y/N was pressed up against the door, attempting to keep, whatever the fuck, it was out of the house.
“Doll, what the hell are you doing out here by yourself?” He questioned, still attempting to rub the blood off from under his nose.
“Billy, Billy, listen, leave—” She attempted to warn him, but it was too late. The demogorgon had finally broken its way through the door, throwing Y/N on the ground in a swift motion.
“Y/N!”
“Not today, asshole.” Steve's voice blurted out, bat in hand. “Come on.” He whistled to the monster, backing away slowly as he does so.
It definitely took the bait, as it followed Harrington, hissing and spitting. Suddenly, it lunged. It didn't get far though, not before Steve smacked the shit out of it with the nail-ridden bat. It fell to the floor before picking its body up and turning to the male. It's face opened up before running at Harrington.
Smack.
Squelch.
Thump.
Steve held onto the bat, looking down at the creature with a disgusted look on his face. His eyes turned to Y/N, realising she wasn't by the front door—there wasn't even a door there, anymore—and looked around. His eyes shifted to movement on the other side of the room and there she was.
Eyes filled with worry, lip smeared with blood, but still confident, and Steve, Steve had never seen someone more beautiful in his entire life. “Hey.” He said to her, smile gracing his face.
“Hey.” Y/N breathed out, wiping the blood off her lip and hissing when she realized there was a cut. “Fuck, that hurt.”
“Was, was that the fucking creature you were talking about?” Hargrove suddenly sputtered out of his mouth, body still frozen in place.
“Yeah, and good morning. Get used to it, he—” she pointed to the dead monster on the ground, “brought friends. Hope you can fight.” The words came out easy and she licked the cut on her lip before getting in stance. “I didn't sign up for this.”
—————
He could. Billy Hargrove could fight, and she was shocked, to say the least. She wasn't shocked about him fighting, no, she was shocked how easy he took this whole—Hawkins had made a lab, which created El and you, and the Upside Down. Which, in returned, haunted you all forever.
“Did you know that this is fucking bullshit?” Billy spoke, throwing the shovel down on the ground. “Maxine and I moved here, to get away from this shit—”
“Wait, it's happening in California, too?” She questioned, turning to the male. “This is happening in California, and you just ran away?!” Y/N was pissed as she punched him in the chest as hard as she could, but he had ended up holding her wrists and pulling her to him.
“What if they're all connected?” Mike said, brain filled with ideas. The kids started making a plan, all of them butting in.
“All we'd have to do—” Max.
“Is go down to the tunnels—” Lucas
“And set that shit on fire!” Dustin.
“Hey, hey, hey, that is not happening.” Before he even knew what happened, a voice chimed in.
“It's closed. The kids are right, we have to burn the tunnels. Hargrove, we'll be having a conversation, later.” Hopper said, taking off his jacket before sitting on the couch. Eleven followed, wiping her nose multiple times before she ran to Y/N, hugging tightly.
“You're back.” Jane said, hugging tightly.
“Wha—” your eyes widened as you looked over and tilted your head to the side slightly, Mike's backpack falling off the table. Smiling widely, you threw your head back and laughed.
“Yes, Jane. I'm back.”

Chapter One: The Vanishing of Will Byers
Seraphina Wheeler sat in her room, running her fingers across her wrist, where a small, black tattoo had rested her entire life. She was thinking, not about anything specific, just any thought that came to her mind. Her mind traveled through multiple things, happy and sad memories, painful and terrifying ones, all of them, of which she could actually remember. One stuck out like a sore thumb, but she kept her thoughts away from it, from the anger and sadness that came with it.
That thing festered in her mind, and she knew that it wouldn't be long before it consumed her. She had locked it away a long time ago, not able to handle that pain, the feeling. She was good at locking away her emotions, but one day, she won't be able to hold back anymore, and she'd break.
A knock sounded at her door, she jumped a little, her mind coming back to the present, "come in."
One of her little brother's friends stood there, Dustin, "Hey Phina, since Nancy just refused the last slice of pizza, do you want it?"
She smiled at him, "sure Dustin, just set it on my desk. You guys done for the night?"
"Yeah, your mom is kicking us out," he said, slightly sad, walking over to the desk and setting the box down, "we didn't even get to finish!"
"Wow that sucks, you guys have been planning this for two weeks," she shouts, a small frown on her lips.
"Yeah," Dustin huffed.
"I'm sorry Dusty," Phina smiles at him, "come on, I'll walk you out."
Dustin nods happily, he'd had a cute little crush on her for the longest time, and she knew that, she thought it was adorable. She had babysat him when he was little and ever since then, he had the cutest little puppy dog crush.
The two walked down the stairs, talking about the campaign. Dustin told her about the Demogorgan and how Will had used fireball.
"He should of used a protection spell," Dustin whined.
"I don't know Dusty, if it were me, I would've used fireball," Phina smirked, knowing a double meaning behind her words.
Dustin shook his head, "and I thought you were the smart Wheeler."
Phina laughed loudly and smacked his shoulder, "I am the smart Wheeler, and that says something about my siblings."
Dustin laughed and opened the door to go into the garage, seeing his friends grab their bikes. He follows suit, turning to Mike.
"There is seriously something wrong with your sister," Dustin said to him.
"Ouch," Phina mockingly says, holding her heart as if she had been hit there, "my ego Dusty.".
"Oh you know I meant Nancy," Dustin laughed, "well, maybe it was just a little bit about you."
"Oh whatever Dustin," Phina playfully scoffed, "you know you love me!"
"What are you talking about," Mike asks.
"Nancy's got a stick up her butt," Dustin answeres, blushing a little because of Phina's comment.
Phina snorts loudly, both at Dustin's blush and because of what he said about her sister.
"Yeah," Lucas agrees then adds, "it's because she's been dating that doucheage, Steve Harrington."
Phina's smile falls and turns into a hard scowl at the mention of Steve Harrington, "damn right it's because of Harrington."
"Yeah, she's turning into a real jerk," Dustin nods.
"She's always been a jerk," Mike scoffs.
"Nuh-uh she used to be cool." Dustin starts to ride away on his bike. "Like that time she dressed up like an elf for our Elder Tree campaign."
"Four years ago," Mike shouts back.
"Just saying," Dustin says.
Phina chuckles at them, earning a small glare from Mike. She raises her hands in surrender, but continues to smile.
"Later," Lucas shouts.
"Be safe boys," Phina yells at them.
Dustin waves his hand in the air dismissively, "yeah yeah, whatever!"
Phina shakes her head and yells, "don't be a sarcastic ass Henderson! That's my job!"
Will stays behind for a second and turns to Mike, "it was a seven."
Mike looks at him, confused, "huh?"
"The roll, it was a seven. The Demogorgan, it got me," Will explains, "see you tomorrow."
As Will turns and rides off, a chill goes down Phina's spine, something felt a little off about what he said. The lights flickered a little and she looks at them a little wide eyed. The feeling did not go away, only pierced deeper into her.
"Be safe Will! Tell Jon and your mom I said hi," she yells after the boy, almost wanting to tell him to come back and just stay the night, but she knew her mother wouldn't let him stay on a school night.
"Okay!"
Phina shakes her head, trying to tell herself that she was just being paranoid.
She puts on a fake smile and turns to Mike, putting her arm around his shoulders, "did you have fun?"
"Yeah, it was one of our best campaigns yet," he says excitedly.
"Well good," Phina smiles at him and pushes him inside, "now go get ready for bed."
"But," Mike begins to protest.
Phina lifts her hand, "ah, don't argue with me Micheal."
He huffs, crossing his arms like a pouty child. Phina chuckles and ruffles his hair. She pushes him towards the stairs and he complies, swatting her hand away, laughing.
Phina smiles at him as he runs up the stairs and turns around. She goes to shut the door, but a cold wind blows into the house, surrounding Phina. She shivers, the creeping feeling in the back of her mind sends a deep chill through her. She shuts the door and shakes her head, staring at the door.
"You ok sweety," her mom asks.
"Yeah, I'm ok." Phina jumps, turning around to give her mom a fake smile. "Just tired, I'm gonna head up to bed."
Karen smiles at her, "ok sweety, goodnight."
"Night."
As soon as she was in the comfort of her room, she locked her door and closed her curtains. Phina did a mental checklist in her mind, making sure she was not going to be seen. Once she had checked off everything at least twice, she sat in the center of her bed, closed her eyes, and concentrated.
In the house next door, a small girl looked out her window, and towards the Wheeler's house, almost every night, the same thing happened. A golden glow emitted from the window, but the girl could not see what it came from.
The girl watched in awe, the light was beautiful, swirling and flickering in the night, almost as if someone was making a shadowy story for the little girl to see. The magical light was the girls favorite part of bed time.
The light went out, and back to the normal light of the room. The girl left her window.
Phina walks down the stairs of her house, dressed in her normal outfit, dark denim jeans, a black long sleeve shirt and a red flannel over it. Her long, blood red curls flowing down her back freely. She sat at the table, where her family had already started eating breakfast.
Mike pours syrup all over his foom which gets a look from Nancy, "that's disgusting."
"You're disgusting," Mike snaps back.
Phina smiles at the two bickering, but the smile vanished when she hears her mother pick up the phone.
"Hello..... oh, Joyce, hi."
Something happens with Phina's siblings and they start yelling. She doesn't spare them and attention. Their bickering was normal, and, unless it escalated, she wanted no part of it.
"Will? No no no, it's just Mike.... no, he left a little bit after eight. Why? He's not home?"
A sickening feeling settles in Phina's stomach, the same one from the night before. Karen hangs up and looks over at Phina, giving the empty plate in front of the girl a look.
"Are you going to eat?" she asks.
"No, I think I'm gonna head to school early, I have to meet up with a project partner," Phina lies, not at all hungry.
"Ok sweety," Karen nods absently, though her tone says she isn't happy about it.
Phina stands from the table and grabs her jacket, bag, and keys, before heading out to her motorcycle. She threw on her black leather jacket and then her backpack. She hopped on her bike, started it up, and drove off quickly towards the school, all the while, the sickening feeling settling deeper into her stomach.
Phina drove into the schools parking lot, people jumping out of her way as she sped past them. She parked in her usual spot, which was relatively close to the door. She noticed a few people standing by a car, watching her. Steve Harrington and his group of asshole friends.
Phina wanted to snap at them, but that would cause more harm than good. She avoided looking at them, but that didn't stop Carol from harassing her like normal.
"Watch out everyone, the freak of Hawkins is coming," Carol said loudly.
Phina didn't even pause, her mouth moving before she had time to even process what she was about to say, "watch out everyone, the slut of Hawkins is out spreading STDs."
The sound of Steve's sharp laugh, and Carol's cry of anger, made Phina smirk. She continued into the school not bothered by Carol screeching and calling her a bitch.
The crowds parted slightly as Phina made her way to her locker. She had a reputation at the school, and that made people very hesitant of her. Her, I dont give a shit attitude and her history of fights certainly kept people away. She kept to herself, only ever talking to her best friend and her younger sister.
Phina got to her locker and opened it, grabbing the things she would need for her first few classes and putting them in her bag. Then she grabbed her sketch book and her pencil case and shut her locker. She turned around and was met by the face of her best friend, Jonathan Byers, who had his hand held out like he was about to touch her shoulder.
"Shit Jon, you scared me." She jumped, then noticed the look on his face, distressed. "Hey, what's wrong?"
"Will, he didn't come home last night. My mom called your mom but he wasn't at your house," Jonathan explained.
The feeling in Phina's stomach began again, almost painfully present, but she kept calm, for Jonathan.
"I'm sure he probably just stayed at Dustin's," she tried to reason with him.
"Yeah, you're probably right," he sighed.
Neither of them believed her.
