occasionally getting so mad about what they did to maya 5 years after the fact that i have to take a break from writing a maya scene in my fics and just be really fucking mad about her

#made the mistake of alluding to her being raised by a cult and like. whoops.#she wouldn't have gone back to athenas to protect them! they weren't pacifists!!! they wanted her to be their weapon!#there's no reason to go there to learn about sirens she left there because they couldn't teach her about #sirens!!! that's why she went to pandora! she would not become a mom and passively accept death!!!#kinda funny how they tried to make it 'better' in the krieg dlc but what they really did was retroactively turn her death into #'woman fridged to fuel a man's angst' (like. i shipped them from the start but god...no...)#(if i ever fit aurelia into a fic I will flat out never get any fic writing done)
