my mom and I bond so much over high profile trials. she was on a murder-kidnapping jury once, then a grand jury for a year, and I've been foreman on a civil case and a criminal case. she likes to watch the live coverage and I like to listen to her takes on it.

regarding the murdaugh trial, I only listened to murdaugh's cross. mom watched the talking heads tear the prosecutor apart for letting murdaugh say more than yes or no on the stand but of COURSE the prosecutor was letting him talk!!!! he was just making everything worse for himself!!

anyway, the jury came to the right decision.
