Astrology Observations
💫3rd house synastry increases ease with communication, especially when the Moon or Venus are involved, comfortability with sharing your feelings or thoughts/emotions will come natural.
💫For a woman, if she has an Aquarius Mars she will appreciate her partner to be visually or intellectually different.
Appearance Wise: someone who stands out in some way, someone who is comfortable in their feminine and masculine energy, someone who doesn't need outside validation from others, someone who is confident without being overly aggressive or forthcoming. Another note is someone who has an unique or artistic style, someone who puts effort in their wardrobe, (rings, necklaces, painted nails, accessories) Open-mindedness is very very ideal, and if they have more of a theoretical mindset with how they view the world brings in more attraction for the native.
💫4th house synastry (especially with conjunctions to your IC) will create an energy that brings you a sense of comfort you never knew was possible.
💫8th house friendships can also take on more of an intense dynamic, expectations still arise, especially for the person with more Scorpio/8H influence.
💫If you struggle with accepting intimacy, love, or romance but deal with South Node + water house synastry (along with other indicators of attraction such as aspects/house overlays/more past life synastry aspects) letting them go will feel impossible, especially if they bring you this type of curiosity you hardly feel from anyone else.
💫Neptune-Moon synastry doesn't get talked about enough. If attraction and desire are factors within relationships with harsh Neptune to Moon influence, the dynamic can feel fated. At one end of the spectrum the Neptune person can confuse the Moon person, the Neptune person can showcase as someone the Moon person can't really understand and yet there could be a desire to save or idealize them. Similar to Pluto influence the spectrum of the intensity depends on each souls but someone with a lot of Neptune/12th house placements in their natal chart will feel very drawn to this connection.
💫Vertex synastry comes at you unexpectedly. You could know someone for quite some time with no initial curiosity to know them better, but once they enter your atmosphere in some deep manner, you will feel very very close and comfortable with this person.
💫4th house synastry can elicit intense feelings especially if there are mutual IC conjunctions (bonus if each others Vesta asteroid conjuncts each others IC) as well as have Moon conjunct Pluto in the composite chart. These added factors will add more intense dependent need for this person.
💫Jupiter synastry is so cute. You will feel so optimistic when you're around this person. You can't help but feel like you can handle anything that comes your way, you're excited, content, and trusting of the individual looking at you (especially if you guys share more 4th house synastry).
💫Each water moon can struggle with extremes, in some shape or form.
💫 Individuals with natal 12th house placements (especially Venus) may often turn to music as a means of escaping reality.
💫Capricorn moon individuals struggle with accepting the fact that they have emotion. Often times their mother was absent or emotionally un-nurturing, leaving them to feel uncomfortable with sharing their emotions, they struggle with feeling safe, they may not have a direct resentment link towards their mother, but in some aspects her coldness leads them towards the same void of avoiding emotions they wish to escape from.
💫Libra stelliums are likely to find a partner, and with that partner they may lose their identity or self within them. They feel complete when another is "their person" but with it may also lead to codependency.
💫Libra karma can deal with issues of stating their opinions, thoughts, and desires. They may think it's easier to avoid conflict or disarray but all that does is create a deeper hole of forgetting who they truly are.
💫People with 8TH house natal placements (especially stelliums) are more likely to experience extremes in their life, whether it be with finances, partners, or emotion. It is likely that they can end up being dependent on another for resources/money etc.
💫Gemini placements (maybe even air placements in Gemini degrees) are more likely to be on the spectrum with their sexuality, it's more likely that they would be attracted to anyone they just find attractive. Although sexual attraction and romantic/emotional attraction are very different categories. You can be sexually attracted to someone but have no emotional or romantic desire for that individual, sexuality is a very complexed spectrum.
💫Sagittarius suns with Taurus risings handle pain with grace. More than likely if someone has these two placements with a poor placement Moon or harsh aspects towards the Moon/Sun/IC etc they are likely not to fixate or struggle with the emotional turmoil (compared to others).
💫Water moons typically have blurred boundaries with their mother. These placements manifest differently but boundaries when it comes to their mother or the love within their dynamic is often times more complicated.
💫Fire dominate/Venus individuals are more likely to have physical touch be their love language.
💫Gemini venus's get bored very easily, constant stimulation or some excitement in the dynamic is needed. (But 5H/7H/Cancer/Leo/Libra placements with a Gemini venus are less likely to become bored)
💫Moon-Mars & Venus-Asc synastry will create intense attraction almost instantly.
💫8th house stelliums are likely to deal with large sums of money at one point in their life, or they will owe others money, they will be given money, or other people's money becomes a major factor in their life; someway or somehow
💫9th house placements appreciate other people's culture, beliefs, thoughts, and ways of life that differ from their own.
💫Virgo's placements with prominent 10th house or Capricorn placements can create an individual to be very hard on themselves, the goals they place on themselves oftentimes exceed others, prompting them to feel less than if left unaccomplished or unproductive.

Get Back Rewatch 55 Years On: Day 18
Staring John Lennon, as that kid I should’ve been nicer to in first grade who always smelled like PB&J and was never to be seen without his pokemon cards
The dancing is really too cute. They’re just absolutely giddy. Making each other laugh AND an excuse to touch? John and Paul’s heaven.
John saying he was too excited after yesterday to go to bed. Like a fucking kid on christmas.
Everybody is serving today. While the candy-land suit is fun, I actually just love that vivid purple so much that I think it’s better without the coat over it. Billy looks extremely suave and classy. And those red polka-dots on Ringo. Red suits him, and I think with his very frank, masculine aspect, he looks so beautiful and bold in feminine fits. Paul and John are both just wearing what they wore yesterday. Yeah. But John is still a cutie, and Paul, well, you all know.
The advice chain about finishing a song while you’re working on. Paul → John → George
Paul honestly does a great job being supportive of George and his work. Coming over and grooving with him, then hopping on drums then guitar (right-handed, may I add). Just to give George musical atmosphere to flesh out his song and start thinking of arrangement ideas, I assume. Then letting him bounce ideas around. And the whole time being overly-enthusiastic to build George up. Look how happy George is with the love and attention.
John helping move some equipment in. We love a man who sometimes doesn’t think he’s too good for manual labor.
Yes, clean that homeless man’s palm sweat off your instrument. Probably smart.
TFW you made Paul McCartney jealous of your musical abilities.
John really knew so well when to be his little impish self and when to be hard and intimidating. Exhibit A, going from, “Can we have our microphones, oh, mister, can we please?” to “And get one for Billy too.” In a matter of seconds.
George Martin stepping in when they’re all getting panicky about the sound and they need an authority figure to reassure them in ways that someone like Glyn Johns never could. Just, perfectly cool and collected, puts everything right as they’re all shouting at him like school children who’ve just had a terrible time in PE.
“Believe me, when I tell you.” “Oh, I do.” Oh, good. He did put it in. That’s nice. Right, and this is the moment Yoko decides to tell John her divorce has come through and pull him in for a big smooch. Honestly, it just shows how threatened she feels by Paul. Nevermind her whole, “good thing Paul isn’t a girl or he would have been a great threat,” quote. Clearly, he just is a threat regardless of sex.
And then John, “I’m freeeee.” At Paul. Honestly, the amount of things they direct specifically and aggressively at each other that should’ve just been general statements if there wasn’t some weird thing between them. It’s really something. Normally, you’d announce something like that to the whole room. But it seems John specifically wants to impress upon Paul that he and Yoko could get married right now if they wanted to. I mean, it’s a little difficult to make the point, because John and Paul almost aways seem to be talking only to each other. But through the whole discussion of Yoko’s divorce, John does not take his eyes off of Paul.
Oh my gosh, Ivan Vaughn is here? How many emotional support boyfriends does Paul need to make up for John having Yoko? Glyn, Linda, George Martin, Dennis, Robert Fraser, and now Ivan? Fuck’s sake, Yoko, you’re a powerful woman.
Paul’s Strawberry Fields piano. Let me be as vulnerable and broken as possible in my singing, since I can’t show you any other way that you’re killing me. Do you remember this song? That you wrote when we were at the height of our partnership only two years ago? How happy we were then? How beautiful the world seemed for that one brief moment? And John can’t look at him, because, yes he fucking remembers and yes he knows he’s hurting Paul. But for whatever reason, (my theory is he wanted something more Paul couldn’t give him. What that was and whether it was ever specifically vocalized I don't have a guess) going back to that time would be more painful to John than this has been.
So they’ve been goofing off and Paul gives this little speech to get them back on task. “Alright Chawn Love. I’ve gotta call order, John, now, valuable time, here, son. Cool down, son.” But John’s response, “Don’t let me down, babe” completely switches Paul’s gears. He now thinks it’s important enough to get in this little snatch of a *meaningful* cover, “Take these Chains from my Heart,” reversing the course of productivity he’d got them on and ignoring the fact that they were about to do a take on two-shilling-a-foot tape. My interpretation of this moment is a bit tin-hatish and long, but suffice it to say, John is not happy with the message.
Everyone convincing Paul to do another take of his song is surprising, considering everything we always hear about how Paul was a tyrant task-master who just forced everyone to keep doing his lame muzak over and over when they all clearly hated it. Mal, “You can always go back to it.” Paul, “Do you want your head kicked in?” John, “We’ll never get a chance to do it again.” Paul, “Okay, honey bunch. Let’s hit it one time, tutti-frutti.”
Yoko watching Paul check out her boyfriend’s ass. Classic. Also the fact that she literally copied his outfit? I get so much second-hand embarrassment for her, and it’s not when she’s being a weirdo and a statement-maker. It’s the having to physically stick the gum you were offering your boyfriend into this hand because he won’t take his eyes off his boyfriend for two seconds to look at you.
Everyone laughing at Perfect Paul being out of tune is so funny to me. Like when the nerd finally gets a question wrong and the whole class is all “ooooohhhh!”
Ringo having a grand old time on the drums. I love that he just knew that’s what he wanted to do from such a young age and he never wanted to do anything else. And why would he? He’s a genius at it.
Paul. “John’s got something at 1:30 and so have I.” Smirk emoji. Side-eye emoji. George is with me. “Yeah we've got something too. I’ll do Ringo at 1:30.” I'm dead.
This moment right here hurts me. Paul’s enjoying a nice cuddle with Ringo until he remembers the camera. You’re not going to get in trouble for having your friend’s arm around your shoulders, Paul. Why are you like this?

why (from the point of view of a lesbian) drawing lady Maria overly feminin is a bit more of a bigger deal than it may seem
I’ve seen people say that it isn’t that big of a deal if many artist want to draw lady Maria with huge naturals and a thin ass waist when in actuality she’s built like a door. I was a bit conflicted with that point at the start because yes, of course you can draw whatever you want. But the act of reducing women to the ideals that porn and mass media find attractive in women is still a huge problem.
for one thing, when I see people draw Maria and even Melania like curvey anime girls I can already tell they don’t really care about the character or lore, they just want to sexualize the character because they are women. The excuse often is “well I’m not good at drawing any other body type” which is a lazy excuse in my opinion. Just don’t draw them. That’s like drawing a big women like fucking twiggy and saying “it’s just my style I can’t help it, I don’t know how to draw big girls!”. Pick up a book and start learning bud. But these rules apply to a plethora of other characters and aren’t specific to more masculine souls borne women.
What really irks me about this is the idea that more masculine or androgynous women are seen as less beautiful or less as women, and in Maria’s case often leads to them being changed in art to be more “attractive”. This is of course from the “male gaze” and while you are allowed to have a preference for women, there are thousands of other characters for your consumption that fit your little porn addict needs.
to all the people who want to change lady to be more slim thick with fat tits on the side, she wasn’t fucking made for you. What you have been fed all your life to beleive what is beutiful is Fake. Why can’t you move yourself to find her attractive the way she is? To be less feminine is not to be less beutiful and if you can’t fucking see that than you need to understand that character isn’t for you. Go watch some hazbin Hotel or genshin, some world of war craft, or GTA or tomb raider. These games and media are full of conventually attractive women made just for your digestion! Maybe even play some dark souls 1 and lust over gwynevere! Leave the women who are not up to your standards alone. They were not made for you. They were made for us lesbians :]
ok ty have a great day

my friend had a really interesting theory on how misogyny and transphobia permeate in society and im wondering if it makes sense to you + if it sounds like a coherent understanding of the hatred of femininity/societal misogyny at large, and overall treatment of trans people.
she said:
"Misogyny can be viewed through this very exaggerated lens to enhance the way people think about men and women: men are people, women are dogs Some people dislike dogs, some people love dogs and think they’re great, but everyone agrees dogs are not people When a dog wears human clothes and walks on two legs - it may be cute, but everyone still agrees it’s not a person. It’s a dog pretending to be a person, which is kinda pathetic-cute
When a person gets naked and starts running on all 4s around you and barking to play fetch - it looks disgusting, deranged, mental.
I tried to convey the difference of how trans women are viewed as individuals who are engaging in a perverse, degrading, unnatural act of becoming a lesser fuck-object, while trans men are viewed as pitiful, pathetic delusional wanna-be men who are just women who don’t wanna be subordinate anymore, out of line."
what's your opinion on this?
it seems overly complicated but most theory is
like 90% it's really truly as simple as trans women are faggots and trans men are malfunctioning broodmares
with TERFs it can get a little more complicated but even then can be boiled down to backlash against what they perceive as the enemy tribe and traitors to their own

Pop feminism is mostly a victim of our pattern seeking brain.
"The generic unmarked term to refer to groups of people derives from words related to masculinity." does not mean that changing our markedness to a more 'gender neutral' language will change people's perceptions in such biases. This also falls into the same problems with the notions of Goddess movements—where they juxtapose Masculine defaultism in theology to the patriarchal worldview of the world. It seems to be a weird, overly-deterministic structure of how the facets of society can be innately linked to the narratives of the Patriarchy.
It genuinely seems to be the case that Indo-European languages just seem to have the masculine gender as the default, and the reason that exists in English is—well, is such a remnant of the areal feature relating to it. It seems to also be the case in Peripheral SAE languages such as Estonian and Turkish, where the marked gender is still the feminine, in edge cases where gender may be differentiated; cf. çocuglu for a generic of 'child/boy' but explicitly referencing girls must be done with kız çocuglu.
I think Sapir-Whorf has become a genuine poison in terms of how people should approach discussions of how language changes with the patterns of thought. The ways in which we perceive biases suddenly don't disappear just because
Even with the critics of those models, such as the ways in which cultures shape our language—via Boas and whatnot, seem to also fail in assessing the problem in which masculine/feminine generics has nothing to do with human genders or the perceptions thereof.
There are attested cases in which the feminine term is the functionally unmarked one, such as those in the Amazon anPapua and Iroquoian languages, such as Mohawk, Seneca, Oneida, etc. Functionally, the word for 'humans' and 'woman' belong into the feminine gender in Seneca, but these seem to also be a pattern seeking brain in regards to how Iroquoian society is largely matrifocal. In Mithun (2014), she interviewed native Kanienʼkéha (Mohawk) speakers and they deduced that nobody had noticed this feature saliently. They were however, had expressed surprise and concern that the classification for 'women' were in the same gender as that of animals.
Similarly, feminine-default genders in the Amazon seem to also have societies in which the masculine is also emphasized, as feminine defaultism in Jarawara in turn see that the class of masculine is exceptional—in such that gender reversal of a woman who acts 'masculine' is deemed in the same class as a way of emphasizing her significance and strength in society. In comparison, reversal of the feminine in other languages—mainly those in the Amazon, seem to also be a sign of belittlement or weakness.
Features of languages are not really meant to be reflections of our societal biases, and to argue otherwise seems to just be an err on the fact that we want to see patterns in everything. So analyses of gender patterns and our perceptions of misogyny must be treated with caution, since trying to connect these phenomenon together seem to be overly deterministic and Eurocentric in regards to their analyses.

How the Drivers React to Seeing/Meeting You For the First Time - Part Two
George Russell:
“They’ll let anyone in here.” Lewis joked to an unknown woman beside George as they walked through the hall to make it to a strategic meeting and expectations on the track for the new year. Lewis was a legend in the game, quite literally a world champion though they needed to work harder if they wanted to earn Mercedes the title of Constructors Champion and get points for the new season. George? He was still newish, he was still trying to navigate his way through his role, especially when his teammate was the one and only Lewis Hamilton.
“Lewis!” The girl seemed as if she was full of energy, Toto nodding at his two drivers in acknowledgement before looking back to the strange woman, a fond look on his face. “It’s been so long!” She had a slight accent, reminiscent of Toto’s. She seemed warm, like she cared to make a positive impact with everyone she had ever met. She had this radiant energy that George felt drawn to, and he wasn’t too sure how to feel about that given she was a stranger to him.
“Well maybe if you visited your father more.” Toto jokes, the girl rolling her eyes as Lewis chuckled and embraced her.
“Father?”
“Ah yes, you must be George. I’m Olive, Olive Wolff.”
Valtteri Bottas:
Tiffany Cromwell and Valtteri Bottas were a well known couple in the Formula One world, so, when the two decided to end their relationship everyone was shocked. It was rather amicable but Valtteri spent a lot of his free time healing, beginning to get used to being alone, and starting to fall in love with himself more. The two had remained close friends; nothing would ever change the love the two shared for one another, they just wished for different things in their lives and that was normal, that was okay. So, when Valtteri decided he wanted to put himself out there again, he called on for some advice from the closest female he knew that wasn’t family; Tiffany.
Valtteri stood on the podium, his first P3 of the season in the third race of the season and he felt absolutely over the moon. He was in a new car in a new team and was just thrilled. He felt as if there was some luck out there for him, someone there to cheer him on. After all the interviews and the post race press conference he finally had some time to celebrate with his friends, team and everyone that worked behind the scenes and other celebrities that were in the city.
“Valtteri!” The Finnish man turned, hearing the familiar feminine voice over all the others as he walked into the bar. Tiffany, with a drink in her hand, bounced on her feet towards Valtteri, leaving a friend awkwardly standing to herself. She embraced him, clearly a couple of drinks deep but excited to see him nonetheless. He chuckled as she pulled away, a pink flush on her cheeks. “I’m here to set you up with my girlfriend! You’ll love her!” He turned to the female that was making her way over, her cheeks also flushed but from the embarrassment of Tiffany’s statement. Valtteri noticed she was wearing a casual dress, not overly dressed up like everyone else in the bar. Just comfortable, though she still looked gorgeous, that much he knew.
“I’m so sorry! I tried to get some water into her.” The friend apologised, taking the drink Tiffany was waving around out of her hand. “I’m not some groupie, by the way. Tiffany has made it her mission to find me someone. God, that makes me sound so desperate!” Her cheeks continued to flush a rosy colour, even under the dim lighting of the bar. Valtteri had he fair share of women clinging onto him for their five seconds of fame but this a thousand times different. “We were there, cheering you on. Though I must confess I wasn’t too sure what was happening. Tiffany, come on, everyone wants to say hello to hi-” Tiffany rolled her eyes, taking the drink back.
“May I buy you a drink?” Valtteri chuckled at the duo, interrupting the woman’s nervous but rather cut rambling.
“Yes, of course she wants a drink, Bottas.”
Mick Schumacher:
To Whom it May Concern
Mick rose an eyebrow as he sorted through his mail, spotting a handwritten note. He didn’t believe it to be fan mail as it all got sent to another location that he picked up on a fortnightly basis and he kept his private life and address very out of the limelight, so he continued reading.
I am your new next door neighbour. My name is Josephine Kruger, I have all the horses you can probably see shitting in the field. I’m writing this note to apologise in advance if you hear my new pup barking at night or if he gets out into your property, the bastard is an escape artist.
Here is my number if Nigel (the dog, a black labrador) gets out and wanders onto your property. I’m working on it.
Apologies in advance.
Mick chuckled at the note before leaving it on the bench to sort through the rest of his mail. He made himself busy around the house before he decided to take some trash out to the bins, opening the door to see a black labrador puppy sitting on the top step, his tail wagging happily. His tongue hung out his mouth sloppily and his ears looked much too large for his head. He still had a lot of growing to do. Mick chuckled as he bent down, holding out his hand for the pup to sniff before he deemed Mick safe enough to jump up, asking for pets and scratches.
Mick didn’t have pets of his own, especially when he travelled so much for work so he embraced the love he was receiving from the pup, picking him up. Nigel looked minuscule in his arms, twisting around so he was on his back, his paws in the hair and his tongue, once again, hanging out of his mouth.
“Nigel? Oh goodness!” Mick looked up as he heard frantic yelling, the female presumably his new next door neighbour that he was yet to meet. He walked down the steps, looking down at Nigel whose ears seemed to perk up when he heard his name called by his owner.
“Let’s go find your human.” Mick mumbled, walking down the path that led to his horseshoe shaped driveway, the sound of shoes hitting the pebbled driveway, coming closer with every second. Mick glanced up as he saw the figure of Josephine round the corner, her hair up in a rather messy bun that looked more like a mushroom cloud than anything else. She had a helmet in one hand and a leash in the other.
“Nigel! God, I am so sorry!” Josephine was embarrassed to say the least. Her next door neighbour was gorgeous and here she was in a pair of riding boots, a dirty shirt and shorts with sweat dripping off her, running after her escape artist dog. “I cannot apologise enough.” Nigel almost seemed as if he was ignoring his owner, turning in Mick’s arms and hiding his face in the gap between his arm and chest.
“No, no! It’s not a problem, honestly. He’s welcome here anytime. I’m Mick, I’m not home much.”
“I’m Josephine. I’m home too much.”
Pierre Gasly:
You've got a new match!
Serena looked at the notification on her phone, sliding it open to see what new man she had matched with now. She was in sunny Australia, having just finished an extra credit trip to help assist Indigenous Australian elders, archeologists and anthropologists in rural Victoria unearth the remains of a small family or tribe and now she was in a hotel in Melbourne flying out back to gloomy England in two days time. She had some steam she needed to blow off.
She scrolled through the profile, noticing that the man she matched with was not from Australia which was perfect because it made one night stands just that much easier. His photos consisted of him in what looked as if to be luxurious sports cars, with his friends drinking wine in fancy restaurants and lots of motorsport pictures, not that she cared about the sport in the slightest. His profile had no other bio except for ‘In Melbourne for the weekend’. So, she bit the bullet and sent a message.
How far away from the Pullman Hotel in Albert Park are you?
She waited no more than a few minutes to get a response.
Pierre weighed up all his options before coming to his final decision. She could be a massive fan girl for all he knew, but then she could also be someone that was oblivious to who he was. She was stunning, that much he could tell from the photos. She didn’t appear to edit them at all. They were mainly images of her with what he assumed to be her dogs, her family and friends and photos of her travelling. He would be happy to spend a few hours with her. Quickly googling the hotel he found that he was only a five minute walk away.
Five minute walk, give or take.
I’m room 412. Message me when you get here.
Say less, Pierre thought.
Kevin Magnussen:
After three seasons away, Nico Hulkenberg was back driving for Haas alongside former rival, Kevin Magnussen. It also meant it was three seasons since Nico’s younger sister was at a Grand Prix and back behind the scenes helping her brother. She was last to be introduced to everyone, this time as someone on Nico’s PR team rather than his little sister, and she was the last to formally meet Kevin.
The two had both undertaken a number of changes since the last time they were at the same event. Kevin was now divorced, a devoted father and now a close friend with his teammate, Nico. Lena was now a university graduate, just getting over a heartbreak from a stupid boy and was much more mature, both in her mannerisms and in her appearance. She seemed like a whole other person, at least to Kevin.
“I look forward to working alongside the team, alongside Guenther, the engineers, the event planners, the mechanics, everyone. Thank you, Nico, for this opportunity and Kevin?” Kevin looked up from his beer, offering a sly smirk to Lena as she stared down at him. She looked ravenous and it was dangerous that the sole purpose of this dinner was to celebrate the start of a new season with an open bar. God, the things he wanted to do to her. He nodded, waiting for her response. “If you get into another PR nightmare like in 2017 with Nico, respectfully, suck my balls.” She sent him a wink that was enough to make Kevin feel hot, slightly turned on. Guenther let out a roar of laughter, everyone holding up their drinks to cheer.
He was in for a long night.

Proserpina & Persephone
✨️ What the asteroids Proserpina (26) and Persephone (399) can indicate in one's natal chart ✨️
For this post, you can analyze the natal sign, house, degree and aspects to the planets of these two asteroids, as well as their persona charts in case you know what you're doing, to interpret you own asteroids, just search about the energies and meanings of these, I'm gonna make a guide on how to interpret any asteroid, planet, angle, persona chart easily without headaches in the future ♡. You can ask me if there's a difference between the two asteroids and, honestly, I didn't find anything about it so they're basically the same, do with that what you want. Asteroids you may use: Hades, Zeus, Ceres and Demeter. Planets you may use: Jupiter and Pluto. Just maling clear: Proserpina/Persephone was daughter of Jupiter/Zeus and Ceres/Demeter, and married with Pluto/Hades.
Where and how you fall to tempations (and which temptations)
Where and how your beauty manifests
Where and how (if) your fertility manifests
Where and how your passion manifests
Where and how you're pure that people want to take it away
Where and how your chastity and innocence will be taken away from you
Where and how you're so enchanting that catches the attention of even the least probable and "womanizer" men
This one's more specific but it also shows your relationship with fruits, harvest, the seasons of the year specially spring, flowers, herbs and agriculture, and how you're born with these abilities. A heavily aspected Proserpina/Persephone can indicate you're really fond of these subjects naturally
In contrast, it can also show your relationship with occultism themes like necromancy, ghosts, talking with the deads and reincarnation and how you develop these themes throughout your life. Again, heavily aspected Proserpina/Persephone can indicate you're really fond of these subjects, with the difference that this is something you're gonna work in improving
Where and how your mom is overly protective and attached with you
Where and how happens the transition between your virginity and protectiveness into a phase of discoveries about your body and romance. In some versions, Persephone goes willingly with Hades.
Where and how people fight over your attention
How you blossom and rebel from the wings of your mom and become more independente, even if against her will
How you manage your duality of embracing both light and darkness. Persephone was the goddess of two opposites spectrums: the underworld and the spring, and she still could reign both in an unusual combination
Where you feel you're stuck. Wanting or not, Persephone is always stuck with someone like a prisoner, be it her husband or her mother, she's always restrained
Where and how you're manipulated. Persephone was, in some versions, manipulated by Hades to eat the fruit and stay forever in the underworld. Also, in some versions, she's indirectly manipulated by Aphrodite to fall in love with Hades and not become a lady like Athena and Artemis
Sadly, this asteroid can also talk about abusive relationships with men. I mean, rapturing someone because you feel in love with them is not the most healthy and romantic thing in the world, is it? But it can also talk about taboo and prohibited relationships in general
Where and how you can ascend socially through your romantic relationships
Where and how you can transform yourself through your romantic relationships
Where and how you can sacrifice parts of your life to keep the peace between the ones you love
Where and how you're more known by your personal relationships than anything. I mean, people focus more on this than in the own Persephone
Where and how you can transform dark places and make them flourish
Where and how you can soften the heart of cold, dark and mysterious men 🦭 (this one's a shot in the dark but it makes sense for me hihi)
Where and how you activate your initiation the expression of your feminine energy
Where and how you evolve into the next chapters of your life you never expected
Where and how you express your royalty energy through light and darkness
An aspected Proserpina/Persephone can at its worst, indicate a cold relationship with your father and a suffocating relationship with your mother, in contrast
An aspected Proserpina/Persephone can indicates you've earned some gifts from your mother and you can even have a similar job to hers or a similar personality. But at the same time, it can indicate you don't want to be attached/related to your mother in these matters
I've already talked about that but I'm gonna reinforce it, an aspected Proserpina/Persephone can indicate a toxic relationship with your mother, where you're attached with her but at the same time you wanna leave
Where and how you can use your powers to create adoration and fear at the same time
Where and how you can use abilities related to life and growth
Where and how you can find love in an unexpected way
Where and how you can benefit the souls who deserve happiness and blessings but at the same time condemn the ones who deserve suffering
Where and how you can conjure growth and new life but pain, madness, destruction and death as well

Some of these symbols can have some meaning to you if you have an aspected Proserpina/Persephone or just attract you

✨️ Persephone: The Making of a Queen ✨️
"Most do not understand the darkness of its gifts. Most prefer to avoid such raw truth, intense passion, and the deep, dark mysteries of the unbridled feminine.
Before embracing the dark, I was limited to spring. I was an adolescent, a maiden, an innocent. Not a sovereign woman in my fullness and certainly not a Queen.
Before I could come anywhere near putting that crown on my head, I had to make the journey into the underworld to face my demons, my skeletons, my untruths and my insecurities.
It was only after this, that I was able to claim my rightful place on the throne... The Throne of Self... Full Self, Sovereign Self, Authentic Self."
— by Sabrina Lynn
fun fact that no one asked buuuuutt anyways: last year i've had a dream with persephone and hades and it was so real i could almost swear they really exist lmao. and when i was smaller i actually believed in greek gods and mythology, i was really fascinated with it (blame percy jackson), but who knows loool

INTO THE SHADOWS
[SATORU GOJO X FEM¡READER]
{May or may not follow the actual plot, there will be a few changes- I dont own any original characters apart from Y/N Fushiguro.}
(Part one), (Part two)
Chapter One - I AM Y/N FUSHIGURO
...
The lights flickered erratically in the dark bathroom cubicle in one of the dorm rooms, a shadowed figure flashed in time with the lights before the bulb popped leaving the room to be a blank space in an abyss. The figure crossed an arm along their stomach, wincing in pain as a warm liquid hit their hands, the other hand roamed around and slid into one of the open pockets of the gowned jacket they wore, pulling out a phone which they immediately scrolled through the device to turn on the flash groaning when an orb reflected from the mirror before them and hit their eyes.
"Fuck-" a feminine voice echoed through the air, croaky and soft- also known as the voice of Y/N Fushiguro, she had been assigned a mission over three days ago and hadn't been able to make it back until today, evidently returning with more than just a minor injury.
Her face was pretty clean apart from the red irritated scratch that ran across her left cheek to the top of her lip, but what was more than worrying was the overly large gash that ran across the right hand side of her torso down to her hip where her hand was currently clutching to add pressure relieving some of the pain and the blood flow that was pooling through the gaps of her fingers.
Never had she ever been this injured when on a mission, she always came back with the odd cut and bruise but nothing too deep or crucial. The curse that she had just thought seemed to be stronger than most, its body was a light shy tone with a crumpled face as of where the mouth opened like a flower and it had three white eyes which suggested it was blind although it looked to be smarter than any other as it had been strong enough to out-smart the female fushiguro and render her weak.
The girl stumbled towards the wooden cabinet that stood in the back corner, thrusting open the middle sqaure cove harshly making the board slam against the wall beside it. She reached inside to grab a hold of the small translucent box, rushing back over to the counter by the sink and the mirror, eyes already being adjusted to the dark aura of the room.
After opening the box she instantly pulled out the gauze bandages, a thin sharp pointed needle, some rubbing alcohol and a think piece of dark thread that she pierced through the tip of the needle tying of the end so it was ready for her to use. She grasped a paper towel piece that was laying around, popping the lid from the bottle before pouring a generous amount of the liquid onto it, peeling her shirt off, only to quickly press the liquid soaked material into the wound making a hiss rumble in her throat.
She made sure the wound was cleansed before picking up the threaded needle between her thumb and forefinger, bringing the sharp edge down to the end of the large gash, pushing to allow it to pierce the skin there.
...
A loud banging sound brought Y/N out of her slumber, a sequence of knocks ranged on her door. She grumbled lowly, pushing herself up from the thin mattress that she layed on, a gasp passing her lips when a shock of pain ran up her right side, reminding her about the events from the nights prior.
"Y/N. Y/N. Y/NNNNNNN-" Satorus voice came from the other side of the door, a playful tone tugging at the depths of his voice. Once she reached the door, grasping at the brass handle, tugging it open roughly which nearly made the white haired, blindfolded male fall through.
"What do you wan-"
"What happened to you?!" His sudden alarmed voice cut her short when he some how sensed her injury, catching sight of the gauze on her right hip, making her aware that she was infact wearing no shirt now but was luckily still clad in a sports bra that still had some blood staining on the underside. And she had come to take notice that it wasnt only story that was present but alongside him stood a pink haired boy, who was looking rather sheepishly at her with an small awkward smile.
"Its nothing Gojo." She replied bluntly, looking at him with boredom lacing her eyed as usual before she peered back at the other boy raising an eyebrow. "Who's this-"
"Aha this is Yuji Itadori, sukunas new vessel." Gojo noticed how she had switched the subject quickly, but he wasnt at all surprised by her actions, infact he was kind of expecting that to happen, it was something Y/N Fushiguro always did to avoid attention and take a conversation elsewhere so it wasnt fully focused on her. He turned back to the young student, nodding his head towards the girl, "This is Y/N Fushiguro."
"S-so is she related to megumi?"
"Yeah hes my kid brother." She answered eventhough the question was directed towards Gojo to answer. Yuji could now see the resemblance between the two, the dark calculating eyes, structured facial features although still withholding a baby face that pieced together perfectly, not to forget about the black hair.
The sound of a door creaking open caught the trio's attention, each of their heads turning to face a disheveled megumi who looks to have just woken up, his hand rubbing at the back of his neck before coming to ruffle at his hair, his dark eyes locking onto the three who were stood a couple dorm doors away from him.
"Erk… You’re next door?" The ravenette scowled, his nose scrunching as his eyes focused on the pink haired boy in question.
"Oh, Fushiguro! You look like you’re doing well now!" Yuji exclaimed, a look of excitement flashing across his features when speaking to the boy.
"There were plenty of other empty rooms, weren’t there?" Megumi rose a brow, now switching to gaze to his teacher.
"But isn’t livelier better? I thought it’d be good for-"
"Classes and missions are enough. This was an unwelcome favor." Gojos words were cut off by the megumi's, his tone becoming annoyed as he grumbled lowly. He looked boredly at Yuji who he had been peering inside his room, a surprised look coming to his face.
"Wow, it’s so organized!"
"I just said you’re unwelcome!" His eyes then suddenly landed to his sister, trailing down to her torso where he spotted the bandage covering her hip, eyebrows furrowing as he also caught sight of the little blotches of blood that had been seeping through and were soaked into her sports bra, his eyes wandered back up to her face not failing to notice the lengthy scratch. "What happened to you?"
"Its nothing gumi, dont worry about it." She huffed, spinning on the ball of her foot to walking back inside her dorm only to be followed by the younger boy who sent one last look towards Gojo and Yuji, proceeding to shut the door behind him.
"It doesnt look like nothing." He walked across the room towards the small bathroom that was attached to the dorm, hovering in the door frame with his arms crossed and a stern look crossing his features.
"Its fine, I'm okay- nothing I cant handle, alright?" Y/N glanced back at him for a second, turning back to face the mirror as she peeled back the gauze, getting a closer look at the wound in the light that now filled the room as opposed to lastnight. It didnt at all seem to look 'fine' as she put it, in fact it was all ridged on the outline where the claws of the curse ragged through the skin and it had looked even worse with the job she had done on it last night after seeing it up, the outer corner looked to be an irritated red colour and little bit of purple crept at the surface. "Shit-"
"That doesnt look fine does it." Although it would normally be a question, megumi had said this in a more stated tone.
"S'just a scratch- a very big one." She hushed her voice towards the end but obviously not quiet enough as her brother clicked his tongue at her response, looking at her through he reflection of the mirror where their eyes had met. Y/N huffed, pushing the edges of the gauze back down over the wound, turning so she was now facing megumi, a look of guilt and sorrow forming in her eyes. "I-I'll be alright gumi, I promise. Everything will be alright."

As a WOC, I will never be able to sympathize with Rhaenyra. She’s such an over privileged and lazy person. I just can’t bring myself to sympathize with her for getting usurped because I feel like that’s mainly her fault for being lazy and thinking she’s entitled to everything.
And then we have nettles. A girl who comes from nothing. She manages to claim a wild dragon, she fights for Rhaenyra’s cause and how does Rhaenyra repay her? By trying to murder her. How can anyone sympathize with Rhaenyra over nettles? This white woman’s trauma and paranoia do not excuse her trying to kill a black woman.
So many of her Stans like to pretend they have the moral high ground while also defending Rhaenyra trying to murder nettles.
Yeah, that’s my main complaint with her and why I get so frustrated when people think I’m being mean, petty, or overly critical about her character.
Yes, she is objectively a victim of the patriarchy, but she’s also a privileged white woman who tried to exercise her privilege by attempting to commit a racially motivated hate crime against a Black woman(Nettles).
And yes she’s a fictional character, but there have been so many women throughout history who have behaved in that same exact manner. Women who despite being discriminated against based on their sex still managed to punch down and ruin real lives, separated families, and got innocents killed all at their command.
I don’t know if this was GRRM's intention, but from my perspective as a Black woman, Rhaenyra is just another reflection of that painful history. She’s not someone I can project onto and see myself in even though she’s a woman. She’s still very much just a part of the machine(just in a feminine form).
Before anyone comes for me, it’s perfectly fine if you like Rhaenyra. Again she’s fictional, but not acknowledging what she represents and how she’s both oppressed and an oppressor means that you don’t acknowledge her victims or see the importance of characters like Nettles.
And if you have a hard time acknowledging and understanding how a fictional Black woman is being victimized by a white woman I doubt you’ll have a much easier time dealing with real life victims of racial violence.
Not to mention the fact that it’s incredibly offensive to see things like Nettles should be cut because there are five other Black-ish people in a mostly white cast and she’s unimportant and people only like her because she’s Black and yet have people swear up and down they don’t have a racist bone in their body.
This isn’t even getting into the people who have literally used the n-word compared Black characters to animals, and mocked Black hair and features. Just know you guys are the same cause racism isn’t limited to spewing out slurs.
Those statements(which are solely focused on her race) are very much rooted in anti-Blackness. Those statements are the epitome of reducing someone down to just their skin color and dismissing them because of that. Nettles may be fictional, but you are using racist tropes that have been pushed on Black(that we somehow aren’t deserving of our positions in life and are only where we are because of quotas and wokeness) to trash her character.
Nettles is an incredibly interesting character. Hell, even George finds her fascinating.
Of all the secondary characters in F&B she’s the one who he wanted to write a novella about. Her story has all the tropes that people usually like. Girl from nothing who despite all odds makes it and thrives. She’s there to teach a lesson, but they don’t see her worth because she’s Black. All they see is a Black face who they think doesn’t belong since she’s not a walking stereotype.
I’m not exactly shocked by this behavior, but it’s still stlrange asf to see people who scream up and down about misogyny(which is valid) then go on and perpetuate misogynoir without blinking an eye.

Funniest responses* to the "What does "Mary Sue/Gary Stu" mean?" question
(In reference to my silmarillion fandom linguistics project, the results of which you can find in my "survey says" tag)
*not necessarily the full response, some are just fragments from longer responses. Also, I'm not filtering by "correct" or "incorrect" responses
Like a China doll that has been polished so much it’s face has worn off.
an overly idealized self-insert, one who exerts a black-hole like effect on the surrounding story and characters
Typically a derisive term.
It's like, an OC in a fic who is written to be "too perfect". All the canon characters fall in love romantically or platonically with the Sue/Stu, and they're given uncompelling and unexplainable abilities to solve all problems and be better than anyone else in the story. Often associated with self-insert OCs.
Everyone likes them. They're often instantly good at anything they try. The narrative's darling
Mary Sues are way more common than Gary Stus because people like to shit on girls having fun i guess
even my mom has heard about this one)
Often has a tragic backstory and unusual physical features
Very op character, too flawless (luthien)
OC
often this is used pejoratively against self-insert characters
everyone likes them (except the villain for arbitrary reasons)
Originated from Star Trek fan fiction
May have a comically tragic backstory. Usually in a relationship with the authors favorite character. May be a canon character a fan author has twisted beyond recognition.
Annoyingly perfect female protagonist (Mary Sue been used to mock and belittle stories about women. I've never seen Gary Stu in actual use: male characters with the exact same abilities are just 'strong')
Unrealistic, overpowered, or flawless main character, usually assumed to be a self-insert for the author. However some of the best characters are Sues and Stus, so the term is considered not very nuanced
has little canonical reason for being Like That excepting that it makes the author happy.
A term for an overpowered wish-fulfillment avatar
with a host of "desirable" traits (lustrous hair, shining eyes (sorry I mean orbs))
Overpowered perfect character in a bad story; always negative
Sweet harmless prim rule-following vanilla
super over powered oc who the plot revolves around usually female sometimes self-insert blah blah misogyny. i don't think this term should hold much weight.
idealised character, probably original. Think it was invented by people who enjoyed bullying younger writers on LJ
Batman, gender swapped, would be accused of being a Mary Sue.
they have no flaws except that "theyre just too perfect and thats hard uwu (sad face)"
Sue if female, Stu if male
An OC who is better at everything than the existing characters, unusually beautiful, and often "fixes" all the difficult/sad parts of the plot by Being Amazing and Knowing Everything. Usually written by immature writers. "Tenth Walker" fics and "So-and-so's other/secret daughter" fics are nearly always "Mary Sue" stories. (Also a phrse that gets thrown at any interesting and powerful female character by insecure and sexist men.)
Overpowered (often self insert) character that is loved by everyone
The feminine is much more often used, because sexism
I think the term was often used in a very demeaning way in the past, but it can still be s useful term in modern fandom
Self-insert in an overdone, heroine kind of way. Was originally a derogatory term, but diesnt really have much reason to be.
overpowered, flawless character who has reasonable justification for every Really Stupid decision they make
warp the plot and other characters around them due to their need to be The Most Awesome
Also Feanor
(and also no one ever wants to admit canon characters are already Like That, especially in comics)
for example, a girl's only "flaw" is that she's so small and petite she needs help from the big strong male character. This could be developed into a "serious" flaw with her easily becoming codependent, but with a Mary Sue, this idea would not be pursued (#226)
As for Gary Stus, I think I would also consider a male character a Gary Stu who NEVER shows emotion but still gets the girl in the end. (#226 cont.)
I think the terms are very gender stereotypical in their nature so it kind of makes sense that the descriptions I gave play into those same stereotypes - not to say this shouldn't be questioned, but when I'm asked to define a Mary Sue/Gary Stu, it's very connected to gender stereotypes to me. (#226 cont.)
self-inserty character... over cool
Special Origins (mixed race, super powers, one of a kind etc)
Term used by haters to criticize a character they interpret to lack flaws but without having to do any literary analysis.
A negative connotation word about a character who is unbelievably talented
not every op character is a ms/gs, only the ones that are perfect
(disproportionately applied to women)
someone with a level of pilot-armor so thick it breaks immersion
Bunnies hop at their feet. Darkness flies before their sunny aura. And then everyone appplauds
A self insert character with a protagonist halo
Practically perfect in every way
usually get a romance with The Blorbo
You're asking for an essay here...
Often feels like someone's first D&D character.
considering the source material, I wouldn't use it for a silm fic
I kind of enjoy these sometimes lol
A self insert in a fandom who is you but the idealized version to an unintentionally hilarious degree, often to the point of being awkward and poorly written, “passed off” as an OC
Often associated with preteens (writers and characters)
Central common traits include lack of consequences, unjustified competence or skill, and poor social skills.
what if i was the coolest person on earth
The "Oh, yeah? Well, I have a shield that can block laser bolts" of fiction.
An OC who is too perfect/has no flaws, usually written by someone just starting out
OC thats a bit... inept at doing things in their New World
similar to the og star trek fanfic Mary Sue
there has been criticism in recent years of the term Mary Sue being used in a misogynist (and just plain mean) fashion
& occasionally parenthood.
/ refers to the fact that these two people are portrayed to be in some sort of relationship in the fic
The tea is SMOKING, y'all! 🍵

I just stumbled on an article by film professor Caetlin Benson-Allott called "The Queer Fat of Philip Seymour Hoffman," originally published in the book Millennial Masculinity: Men in Contemporary American Cinema and it is FASCINATING. Here's an excerpt that lays out her basic thesis:
In these films, the actor manipulates his physical breadth and weight as well as his gestural scale to draw the viewer’s attention to how compulsory heterosexuality marginalizes certain lives and bodies. These physical techniques help Hoffman visually exceed the fat male stereotypes of his early career, stereotypes that coded his body as immoderate, less than masculine, and thus most suited for minor roles, comedic turns, and pathetic losers. In such cases, fat male stereotypes rely on stock meanings attached to the actor’s stockier build. Hoffman transcends these roles with nuances of movement and deft exploitations of gesture and in so doing illuminates the process through which overweight male bodies are made unintelligible by a filmic culture that denigrates fat genders even among the gender and sexual alterities that it occasionally exploits.
Hoffman’s physical acting exemplifies the gendered as well as sexual potential of gesture and performance, for he uses his corpulence to visually refuse the traditional masculine-feminine gender binary and dramatize orientations and physical expressions of the body otherwise excluded from heteronormative American cinema... In each [film], he offers another version of what has remained a pale, overweight male body... As James Lipton notes, these relentlessly physical performances suggest that “Philip Seymour Hoffman may be the archetypal sex symbol of our time” in that he gestures toward new approaches to representation for marginalized sexualities and genders.
She goes into a deeper analysis of PSH's roles in Twister, Boogie Nights, and Mission: Impossible III, mentioning a few other performances throughout and focusing on how he used his body to challenge cinema's traditional ideas about fat male bodies and sexuality.
On his role as Dusty in Twister:
Hoffman must still perform the invisibility traditionally associated with fat bodies on-screen or risk violating Twister’s already tenuous verisimilitude. The genius of Hoffman’s performance is that he manages to do both by exploiting the cultural unintelligibility of obesity; he uses the spectator’s own tendency to dismiss fat men to camouflage Dusty’s narrative centrality. Because Hoffman is the only overweight actor in this film, his girth emphasizes Dusty’s position as the film’s fool, which helps disguise his formulaic responsibilities. Hoffman’s weight opens up a dramatic tradition through which he can exacerbate his character’s hedonistic qualities and conceal his intelligence and manipulative capacity. By making his body both overly visible and easily overlooked, Hoffman obscures Dusty’s generic necessity.
On Scotty J in Boogie Nights:
Hoffman orients Scotty’s physical expression of his sexuality around his belly. Because Scotty is written as inarticulate and suffering from unspeakable desires, Hoffman uses his body, specifically his largest and perhaps least mentionable feature, to communicate Scotty’s unmentionable orientation. Hoffman thus borrows a technique from gay male fat pornography and “displaces erotic pleasures [or their symbolic representation] from the genitals and disperses it to other parts of the body, thereby reconfiguring what can count as a pleasurable body.”
On Mission: Impossible III:
In contrast with Tom Cruise’s strong jaw and hard muscles, Hoffman’s relaxed flesh becomes a manifestation of his confidence; Hunt is tense, but Davian is at ease. This lack of visible affect exempts Davian from the tradition of fat villains whose bodies incarnate their overabundance of desire, appetite, or greed. His smooth contours and the reflection of light off the broad planes of his golden skin allow Davian to transcend associations of his body with appetite as he refuses to show interest in Hunt’s interrogation or subsequent threats to his mortality. Hoffman’s elimination of gesture thus helps Davian become a new kind of fat villain, one whose body suggests a lack of interest in the physical world rather than an excess thereof.
Pleaseee seek out this article if you have any interest in Phil's work and physicality—it's one of the most detailed and intriguing pieces I've ever read on him and I'd loveeee to talk about it, the good and the bad. You can download the PDF for free on academia.edu but if anyone has a problem getting it... just DM me lol. Wrapping this up with one excerpt from the conclusion bc I know Phil has taught ME a lot about "being in one's body," as the author says, so I love seeing that in print:
Hoffman’s body offers a new vision of male embodiment outside compulsory heterosexuality, an alternative use of the flesh we might even consider queer. Kathleen LeBesco has observed that the queer and fat liberation movements share many similar projects, but watching Philip Seymour Hoffman suggests that in some cases fat is queer... [Hoffman's] movements propose a new way of being in one’s body, for even within the highly structured heterosexual order of Hollywood cinema, Hoffman helps us envision the body outside normalizing gender strictures.
#TLDR phil was so talented and sexy he transcended societal norms around gender sexuality and cinema#sorry this is long I am so giddy! I wanted to go to bed but now it's almost 1 am and I'm reading this again and again!#on one level I find the very basis of this article shallow if not untenable. like in a way It's Not That Deep#but on the other it's reallyyyyyy interesting and it IS THAT DEEP!#philip seymour hoffman#psh#*#words#I'm OBSESSED with the MI3 section oh my gd#I want her to write a full length BOOK about every one of his characters. imagine the chapter on Flawless or Happiness or The Master#and I'm so excited to be this excited again

Warnings: this is going to be a multi part series and it's going to be angsty cause I am in my feels. Female reader, Padmé and Anakin were together but had a healthy break up, Jedi reader so forbidden love
This story takes plays in Clone Wars yet many events have been changed (like the meeting of Ashoka and Anakin... don't worry the sibling energy is still there.)
series masterlist
I head towards my room. The walk there feels like an eternity. When I finally reach the familiar doors, I slip inside. I remove the damned dress haphazardly as I head towards the shower. I let the cold water envelop me, trying to remove the tension from my shoulders since my usual scalding hot shower routine will not calm me.
After a while, I got out and dressed myself in a long T-shirt and tucked myself under the heavy duvet. My eyes flutter close, exhaustion taking over my senses despite my nap on the ship that was rudely interrupted. Yet, my mind is clouded. Padmé's words resurfaced. "You are made for each other." Yeah sure… as much as I want it to be true, there is no way there is no chance for the two of us. And so I will myself to sleep, and I let myself dream of what we could be.
I dream of him.
Dawn finds me still in my bed for the first time in forever. Today is what I call a "slow" day because I don't have to do anything. So I bury myself under the comfort of my pillow and my comforter, and I stay there for at least one more hour, doing absolutely nothing. Yet my body craves movement, and I can't stay still anymore. I throw on my robes and head towards the cafeteria, where chaos erupts.
"But Master-" a young feminine voice calls and is interrupted by a much louder one.
"I am not your Master, girlie. There has to be some kind of mistake." Anakin's voice booms and echoes through the hall. Causing laughter from all the other current residents of the Temple.
"What is happening? " I whisper to Obi-Wan as I enter the room.
"Anakin has a Padawan. A much… stubborn one." He says, chuckling.
A young girl stands across from my friend with arms crossed and a scowl. Anakin wears a similar stance and expression. I calmly get closer to them.
"Ani. Won't you introduce me to your friend?"
He draws an annoyed breath, trying to maintain his composure.
"My name is Ashoka."
"Nice to meet you, Ashoka. Were you shown your room yet, and your new clothes?"
"No, because skyguy over here …"
"Don't call me that." Anakin snaps, and I try to stifle a laugh. "Not you, too."
"She's funny."
"She's overly sarcastic, mean, arrogant and… why are you smiling like that?"
"Oh, how the tables turn."
"What do you - No."
"Oh yes." I say and smirk at him, waiting for his response. It never comes, at least not directly.
"Come on, Snips. Let's have a tour of the Temple." He says with an exaggerated sigh. And I beam at the nickname Snips. He is already invested even if he shows clear dislike to her … for now. I wink at the young Padawan, and she smiles at me as they leave the room.
I find Obi-Wan slacking at the corner table, watching me with a knowing smile. I serve some French toast on a tray, and I join him. A comfortable silence enveloped us as we ate.
"May I ask you something?" He says after a while.
"Of course Master Kenobi."
"Drop the formalities, firecracker. Will you join me in the meditation ring? I am afraid my usual partner is rather occupied. "
"Of course."
And so we leave our trays in the washing compartment, and head towards the meditation ring. Our outer robes are removed as we sit across each other, and we cross our legs, placing our hands above our knees facing upwards and straightening our backs. Our eyes flutter close as we let ourselves delve into the Force; we let our spirits travel miles and miles away. Soon, I feel something resisting my mind's borders, trying to slip inside, and I gently push it back. This goes back and forth for a while, and Obi-Wan is a great opponent in this as it turns out. We are both out of breath and sweat collects above my brows.
"The Force is strong with you. You have great power in you, and you use it wisely. Your constraint and maturity proceeds your age. "
"Thank you, Master."
"Yet you wear your emotions, much like Anakin. Especially with Anakin."
"Well, of course, he is my friend."
"That is not what I mean, and you know it. I have raised you both. I know what I see. Your feelings for each other are obvious, at least to me. The council forbids any kind of attachment." He says calmly. "I think they are wrong. Attachment is what makes us stronger; it is what gives us hope."
"You mean -"
"I do not think anything, kiddo. You are too smart for your own good. I have faith that you will figure it out. And dismiss any thoughts of leaving the Order; he is not complete without you."
I stayed still in my place, baffled at his words, as he kindly smiled at me and leaned down to kiss my forehead.
My thoughts are tangled knots for the rest of the day. Every loose string I find makes the mess even more complicated. Every task I try to do is left unfinished, I give up on the thought of a productive day, leaving reports unread on my desk and I head towards the training room.
I hijacked the sound system of the room and I put my one and most prized possession into the old pick up I once found on a black market. Loud music fills the room and I head towards the center of the arena. I position myself in a fighting stance and I let my body get lost in the music as I repeat fighting routines. Hours could have past or mere minutes before a small body appears next to me trying to copy me. I flinch as she gets close to a striking distance.
"You are awesome. Why can't you be my Master and not Sir Grumpypants?"
"I wouldn't know Ashoka."
"Master speaks very highly of you."
"Ashoka what the hell are you doing?" Anakin yells as he lets the doors slam behind him. I roll my eyes at his dramatic entrance and his antics. "Go back to your room."
"But you said-"
"Now. I won't say this twice." And so Ashoka leaves with a long, suffering sigh. After she is out of the doors I turn towards my friend.
"You didn't have to be so stern with her."
"Don't criticize me." He buries his hand in his hair, tugging at the roots as he whispers. "What am I supposed to do? She is just a child and I have to turn her into a warrior? The war is raging and-"
"Breathe. Just breathe." I say as I encircle him with my arms, hugging him tightly trying to calm his panicked breathing.
"I can't do it. I won't." He mutters over and over as tears slip down his face.
"You can and you will. You have to."
"I know." His lips move against the skin of my neck, forming the words but never saying them out loud. "You will help right? I am so lost."
"Yeah, this is what friends are for."
"Yeah, friends." He repeats sadly.
Friends. The sound of it is bitter and it sits badly at our tongues, since we are both too afraid to face the truth.

So I’m around 5 ish hours into DAV, and I’m honestly not impressed. I started playing DA back when Origins first came out and still consider its story to be incredible. I hope this gets better because I really want to enjoy the game I’ve been waiting for for TEN DAMN YEARS.
Some thoughts so far:
- The dialogue is so incredibly exposition heavy and repetitive that it started turning me off from the first minute. It is the extreme “tell not show” and I feel like I’m watching some sort of information dump in the most hand-holdy way. I don’t need Harding to tell me there’s probably another blight pod—I need to be allowed to look for it myself.
- In that sense we don’t get time to explore the world state and understand it in our own time—just getting slammed with information through overly direct dialogue and not actual, you know, world building. If I wanted to hear everything explained three times in each dialogue I would go watch a lore explainer video. Plus, the voice acting feels sub par for several of the NPCS but it may just be their dialogue. Like Bellara stating how she’s a rambler when it’s OBVIOUS because she just was rambling?? Generally people stating obv things about their personality or traits that would be 1000% more effective if we learned it for ourselves through play instead of having it spelled out for us up front.
- A lot of the facial animation feels stiff for a game as stylized as it is and as new as it is.
- Where is the nuance or consistency in world building? Why are the Crows suddenly more freedom fighters than assassins?
- Lucanis being possessed by a spirit and mage rook barely bats an eye even with the aggressive options? Anders has a whole thing where there was an entire scale of how Justice affected him and we’re just supposed to take this in stride?
-Eluvians being ancient tech powerful enough that Merrill is basically shunned for attempting to create one in DA2, but Bellara basically just can tinker with them and other artifacts with no one giving a second look, and the veilguard just uses them as portals without any sense of fear or danger?
- Why am I supposed to care or feel attached to ANY of these characters so far? I’ve had no opportunity to start getting to know them aside from some flashy introductions which feel more like opportunities for quips than actual dialogue that gives me insight into their characters. And it’s not like you can really talk to them so far outside of their predetermined intros so far. We’re all just buddy buddy immediately? And no real insight into how Rook and Varric got to be close? How Harding is an integral part of this? How our backstories connect to everyone else in a way that makes sense?
- the overly explanatory dialogue “memories” and how they seem shoehorned into later conversations as if an AI is saying “I remember you said X….”
- I preface this one also by saying I’m trans and nonbinary— what is with the hamfisted dialogue about rook being trans with the mirror? There has to be a better way to discuss how you feel about your body. It already starts out like a monologue to nobody—no one SPEAKS LIKE THAT. I want representation that feels right and realistic, PLEASE. (Plus, the concept of being trans is approached in a different way in DAI with Krem it just doesn’t feel lore friendly??) Not all of what they do with Krem is Good at all but like, it was at least established as a concept. Also the phrase nonbinary implies that binary exists in Thedas which has implications?
- inconsistent vallaslin designs???
- no way to have a completely flat chest + top surgery scars with a “feminine body type” that I could see
- the level design so far feels very railroady even without the quest markers. I know there’s limits but even in Origins and in DAI it felt like there were places worth trying to explore.
- the world state import being so incredibly limited that it feels like nothing I did in DAI matters one bit? When that’s the entire draw of the game??
- there’s more but this is making me frustrated. I want to like this game. I want to. But I’m having trouble.

I've recently done something I never thought I would, I've gotten in anime. I think the innocent girl next door bimbo act is a style that works best for gaining power while not being perceived as a threat. I'm studying it more and learning how to adopt it in my daily life and interactions. I love your perspective and ideas so I wanted to ask your thoughts on this and on the innocent girl next door act.
I have to be honest, I'm not overly familiar with the "girl next door" archetype because, to me, the girl next door is everything a bimbo isn't. But that's really just a preference, bimbos aren't that cut and dry. Just yesterday I was considering making a post about the basic bimbo types because I tried watching Jersey Shore and it made me realize that when we talk about intelligence, well, lack of intelligence -- there are pretty consistent forms it comes in. People get REALLY hung up on the intelligence loss aspect of bimbofication and claim "bimbos don't need to be dumb" but its all about one's personal perception of what "dumb" is. Chances are whatever alternative they suggest in place of intelligence loss is something that can also be read as "dumb".
Excuse me for going off on a tangent here but I'm going to continue. I also almost made this point on the main blog several months ago using My Little Pony characters as examples but I kept debating the... ethics? of that. Anyway, I'm gonna do it now.
Let's begin with Twilight Sparkle (These will be very loose examples btw). You may think "how could a character who's whole thing is being an egghead bookworm represent a lack of intelligence?" Very easily actually. A character like Twilight's stupidity would come in the form of the Absent-Minded Professor archetype. Basically, picture a bimbo who's very competent or intelligent but also a total klutz. We can have a bimbo character who's technically smart but express a sense and perception of stupidity by making them clumsy, oblivious, and socially unaware.
Then you have Fluttershy, who would probably fall more into the innocent girl next door type as you've described. A Fluttershy type bimbo would be perceived as unintelligent through being docile, passive, meek, (I personally prefer these words to just "submissive") or gullible. But she could still technically be smart.
Rarity... kind of goes without saying. A "lack of intelligence" would be expressed through perceived superficiality, an interest in glamorous and feminine things. This is literally the plot of Legally Blonde. Rarity and Elle are girly and glamorous but also kind and intelligent. Of course you could also make this type of bimbo much more vapid and uncaring, even cruel, and get the more trophy wife-gold digger social media influencer type of bimbo. Again, there are A LOT of different bimbo types. Moving on.
Pinkie Pie. Pinkie would represent probably the most common and popular type of bimbo. Silly, giggly, bubbly, hedonistic. Of course, this doesn't mean the character would actually have to be "dumb" in a technical sense, and Pinkie definitely isn't.
Now... Rainbow Dash. With her and AJ being the tomboys of the group there's bound to be a bit of overlap but I'd argue the perception of stupidity tied to RD would be that of a meathead jock. You don't see bimbos like this often, if ever, but it'd be the type of bimbo that's very brash. While a Pinkie type bimbo would probably exhibit eager playfulness an RD-style bimbo might be more aggressive in her pursuits. Her "stupidity" would be expressed through recklessness, cockiness, and probably like crass vulgarity.
And finally, Applejack. While I mentioned there being overlap between her and an RD-style bimbo it may be more accurate to say an Applejack style bimbo would have more in common with the Fluttershy-style in that the Apple-bimbo would appear stupid via a lack of pretension. Sort of the "Farmer's Daughter" type, there's a traditional aspect to it. The Applejack style bimbo would be marked by simplicity above all, the most likely to settle down and be a housewife. There's also possibly the connotation of being and ignorance stemming from small-town seclusion, refusal to change, or a refusal to question things. Consider the episodes:
Applebuck Season
Look Before You Sleep
Bridle Gossip
Over a Barrel
Made in Manehattan
Applejack's Day Off
The Cart Before the Ponies
Honest Apple
Sincerest apologies for the very long detour, anon. Like I was saying, I'm not familiar enough with the "Girl Next Door" archetype to truly comment, maybe not familiar enough with anime either because it took me forever to come up with even one example -- Orihime Inoue from Bleach, and I can't think of anyone else. But it does seem like something to consider and definitely look more into, if you're comfortable sending another message I'd love to know specifically what anime you've been watching and what characters you had in mind. Also curious as to how you plan on employing these tactics IRL. It does strike me, now that I'm winding down, that by "gaining power" you may be referring to like Emmet Till shit, performing innocence and vulnerability to get men be very protective of you.
