SATW really is interesting to me when it comes to the general country personification thing. I sort of enjoy SATW (there are many things that the author does that makes me go "what did humon mean by this" but then I remember she's danish), I have read every single little comic, and I think its really charming. But it really doesn't seem to have the same effect as like CH, CB and Hetalia. No offense but the three last ones are fandoms for very specific types of internet weirdos (self-own because I like two of those) but SATW seems almost... Normal in comparison. Sure there are some more out of the curve jokes but nothing that is just plain off-putting imo. It's a nice read over all, but know that its very much from the view of a danish person LOL so some stereotypes don't even match what we would usually hear. Also maybe some stuff will throw you for a loop because it doesn't really beat around the bush a lot of the time - not offensively edgy or anything, just kinda shameless.
#geisttalk#SATW is very interesting also because it has almost of a similar play on the concept of#nyotalia I think its called?#although in SATW its having sister and brother versions of the countries#she makes risque jokes and has had stuff in her comics that I don't agree with but like I just ignore it#I can't handle it when SATW made like a serious political comic like. No you're the one who made a yahtzee joke with germany#which I mean I found it funny but like come on
