Thinking more on Nela's feelings about nobility...

In the end, I think Nela dodges anything related to nobility whenever she can afford it. At first out of sheer inexperience and generic Andoren disdain for it (which I already talked about before), later on because she learns the hard way that dealing with nobility unfailingly turns into a lasting headache.

She behaves in the proper wag whenever she has to interact with any noble, BUT she makes a point of delegating such duties to people who actually enjoy talking in circles and reading between lines.

Now, whenever she IS forced to attend a social event and such, she'll be the last to complain if Daeran casually starts some trouble...
