While I can appreciate the friendship that Morgan and Garcia have, since it is so uncommon to see friendships between men and women written so intimately in fiction, I cannot get over how much wasted potential they are as a ship. They are one of the most compelling dynamics in fiction, and I just want to know how they would be written if they'd been allowed to get romantic.
#like. garcia herself acknowledges how “unconventional” her appearance is when she gets asked out by that bastard jcb#she is a weirdo who's fat (per 2000s standards anyway). she is so so so beautiful but standards at the time said otherwise#and here's morgan. confident. attractive. flirtatious. and conventional in so many ways#the “weird girl” and “cool guy” shtick would actually KILL had morgan/garcia happened#not even getting into their dynamic eith each other. how much they so clearly love each other to the ends of the earth#the lengths they would go for each other. the way they talk to each other both in their banter and their serious talks#i know this isnt an unpopular opinion i just. this needs to be THE shipping conversation in the criminal minds fandom#all else pales in comparison i am so sorry (jk i just havr less thoughts. all i can say is morgan/reid is also good)#(oh and hotch/prentiss keeps catching me off guard. do i ship it? not really. but there is certainly an argument for it)
