I have a meaningless problem but it's so NICHE that idk how to solve it
#i was looking into The Magic Flute movie that's coming out bc i got an ad on Facebook for it#and i was curious to who is playing the queen of the night bc thats an ICONIC opera role#and i RECOGNIZE the lady but i have no idea why!!!#she wasn't performing in Vienna when I was in Vienna and shes never performed in Las Vegas and those are the only places ive seen operas#her discography isnt on any of my classical music playlists#i cant say for certain but i dont think shes been in any films or recordings ive watched#she has played eurydice in gluck's orfeus and i watched a lot of recordings of that when i learned minuet and dance of the blessed spirits#but i can't track down any recording of her as eurydice!!!#i hate it but i may need to ask [redacted] about it
