You are always happy and smiling, why do you say you cry every night?

I have the impression that we often try to be someone other than what we are just to feel better and be noticed and appreciated in society. Which is why we are never satisfied. And our well-being is simply bad..

Is mythology true? Certainly, these are stories thanks to which a given community expressed and assigned beliefs that allowed for understanding the existence of the world and people. Myths explain a world that is incomprehensible to human and connect people. It is not known whether the creatures depicted in myths existed or really exist. Who knows?
So, back to one of my favorite character creation themes, which is of course mythology, I created a quick concept illustration of Bake-kujira. You know it? It is a creature from the beliefs of Japanese mythology.
The legend about it says that a group of fishermen once spotted a great whale in the Japanese sea and wanted to catch it. But when they approached it, they noticed that it was the skeleton of a whale accompanied by strange fish and birds. Then suddenly a storm broke out and the only thing left of the fishermen was a boat that was thrown ashore.
People believe that seeing bake-kujira portends great misfortune, and great curiosity can attract the "curse of bake-kujira".
