You might already know that some Irish names have anglicized versions, but here are few examples just in case:
The anglicized version of Éibhleann (ayv-lin) is Avelyn (ayv-lin)
The anglicized versions of Cathal (kaw-hal) are Cahal (kaw-hal) and Charles (either “chaalz” or “chaarlz”)
The anglicized versions of Siobhán (either “shi-vawn” or “shu-wan”) include Shevaun (shi-vawn), Shivaun (shi-vawn), and Joan (I can’t think of how to write this phonetically, but it rhymes with “loan”)
The anglicized version of Caoimhín (either “kee-veen” or “kwee-veen”) is Kevin (keh-vin).
The anglicized version of Aodh (either “ay” or “ee”) is Hugh (hue)
The anglicized versions of Róisín (row-sheen) include Rose (rows), Rosie (row-see), Rosaleen (rahz-ah-leen)
The anglicized versions of Sinéad (shin-aid) include Jane (jayn), Jennifer (jen-i-fer) and Janet (jan-et).
But did you know it goes the other way too? That there are, in fact, Irish versions of names?
The Irish version of Vincent (vin-sent) is Uinseann (un-shin)
The Irish version of Vanessa (van-ess-ah) is Neasa (nah-sah)
The Irish version of Robert (raw-bert) is Roibeárd (row-bard)
The Irish version of Rachel (ray-chull) is Ráichéal (raw-chail)
The Irish versions of Kenny (ken-ee) include Cionnaith (ki-unn-ee) and Cionaodh (roughly “kyi-nee” but with a very subtle “y” sound)
The Irish version of Jacqueline (either “jack-linn” or “jack-lean”) is Séamaisíona (shay-mah-shi-nah)
The Irish version of Diane (die-ann) is Bríd (breej)
The Irish version of Brendan (bren-dan) is Breandán (bran-dawn)
In some cases (including a few of the above), it’s unclear which came first. For example, Sorcha (soor-kah) is considered the Irish equivalent of Sarah (sah-rah), but both are pretty old names.
It’s also worth noting that sometimes there is no change. The anglicized version of Deidre (deer-drah) is spelled and pronounced exactly the same as the original Irish version, for example.

do you think you could add a guide on how to pronounce the characters' names in the game's lexicon? cause looking at the pronunciation guide in-game made me realize that i'm most definitely not pronouncing anyone's name correctly in my head 👉👈
We'll make a note of that! Not sure if it will be an imminent future patch, but thank you for the feedback!
In the meanwhile:
Shae /shay/ Féarglas /feer-glass/
Keagan /kee-gan/ Máistirúin /mae-ster-ooin/
Aífe /ee-fa/ Ealabhàn /ela-vawn/
Maeve /may-v/ Troiduair /troyd-oor/
Flannán /flan-nawn/ Mac /mac/ Lugh /loog/
Robin /biggest/ Goodfellow /bastard/
Hope this helps!!
