i think it depends!!!! ink is a bit of a homebody in many ways and isn't *super* adventurous, so i think he'd probably love to go wherever his partner wants!! however. one thing he's always wanted to do is see a musical performed live. he loves showtunes and musicals and he's always wanted to see one but he's never had the chance.

for your treat, i'll give you an excerpt from a little thing i'm working on exploring Gender with my favorite mobster vampire blorbo <333 because i transed his gender and that's everyone else's problem

(no particular content warnings apply aside from a brief mention of violence, as this section is essentially just him talking a bit about how his gender was perceived while working with the mob)

Salvatore was twenty-four years old and had been running with Nickels and the crew for three years. In that time, he’d worked his way up the ranks quickly, until he was practically one of Nickels’ right-hand men. It was something he was proud of--he hadn’t had much to be proud of in his short, miserable life, but the work he did for the crew made him feel like he really was worth something.

It helped, of course, that the crew more or less accepted Salvatore as a man. Sure, a majority of them didn’t understand the fact that he’d been born a woman, but Salvatore himself never claimed to understand it particularly well either.

He never claimed to know any of the medical terminologies, nor did he know anyone else like him. Maybe it was a bit isolating in some ways, but for the most part, he didn't give a shit either way.

He was a man, and that was that, regardless of what was between his legs.

Besides, as far as the crew was concerned, Salvatore was the meanest son of a bitch they'd ever seen, and it was easy to forget the issue of his sex when he had a knife to your throat.

If they're smiling, the smiles, there's something so genuine about them <3 also the eyes 🥲 so expressive. Also the general way your art looks but idk art terms but it's like super dynamic and fun!

THANK YOU i am thinking about godhunter so much but idk how to talk about it.

anyway a scene that i think would get a lot of fanart is one of the world-eater fights, specifically the fight against the neon puff. i can picture it so clearly in my mind and i think it'd be so dynamic and fun to draw.

the world-eater fights are very shadow of the colossus style, because blink is just a little guy fighting these giant fucking monsters and fighting for his life to take them down. and each one has a different gimmick associated with it. the neon puff's gimmick is my favorite <3

the neon puff is jet black and lives underground in a cave with no natural light, and it's covered in bio-luminescent markings in various colors that pulse and glow. so it's like a walking light show. and another fun thing is that it's completely eyeless and hunts with echolocation, which it can also use to stun its prey. so uhhh good luck, blink!

in terms of the actual show. i really picture this as a super fun light show to see live. like ofc engineered to hopefully not be too much of an issue for folks with epilepsy or photosensitivity issues but definitely a fucking adventure.

i think this would be one of the fights in the first act, probably towards the end? we'll see tho!

so what i wanna talk about is sal being a womanizer when he was alive and how that's actually a sad thing. i won't go into a lot of detail but uhh yeah <3

content warnings: transphobia, internalized homophobia, and toxic masculinity

putting under the cut b/c this got a little long <3

so! in life, sal had a reputation for sleeping around. he was a promiscuous fella and definitely enjoyed the attention he got from women. like. y'know that historical story about a trans guy who seduced so many women it caused a bit of a ~moral panic~ in the area? yeah that's salvatore.

so salvatore was a mobster, and as a mobster he was generally accepted as a man. however i'm not gonna pretend that the gang he was in was super gung-ho on trans rights or particularly progressive. i think the only reason sal was accepted as a man was that he proved himself tougher and nastier than any of the other men in the group, and that led to him developing a mindset that he had to *keep* being the toughest, most masculine man to be seen as a man at all.

WHICH ties into him sleeping around with various women. on some level sal's just naturally a bit slutty i think, but the rest of it was very much a conscious choice. like, hey, look at all the girls salvatore gets! he's more of a man than anyone else here! the dames love him!

this mindset continued and followed sal for a while, and for the most part it was fine but i also definitely think this mindset made it hard for him to form any meaningful relationships with people, *especially* men. sal is pan, but he denied his attraction to men for a very long time under the fear that if he expressed any sort of same-gender attraction, people would take it as a *feminine* thing for him to do.

so anyway sal slept around a lot as a human, and i love that for him, but it wasn't entirely just because he wanted to do that. it was much more to keep up his gender presentation and ensure that those around him wouldn't question him.

as a vampire, he starts working through that toxic masculinity a bit more, as well as his internalized transphobia and homophobia. it definitely takes a long time, but as he becomes more comfortable in himself maybe he'll be a slut for *fun* this time around, this time with all genders. it's what he deserves <3

the answer is: it depends! however, when sleeping alone, ink usually sleeps shirtless in a pair of comfy sweatpants. he'll also do that when he's sharing the bed with someone he's super comfortable with! otherwise, he'll throw a tank top or something on if he's sharing the bed with a new person.

also, a fun fact, but like. you know that joke about a trans guy who gets top surgery and then stops wearing shirts forever? i think that ink is that. like a little bit. if he was more confident that'd be him.

so i think it would depend! unfortunately ink has a recurring paranoia regarding stalking due to some. past events. so it's very possible if he has No idea who the flowers are from he might freak out </3

HOWEVER if he does have a good idea who might've gotten him the flowers and it's someone he trusts, he'd be very flattered <3 he also gets flustered super easily, especially when it comes to any sort of romantic attention sent his way.
