#hades#hades game#hades supergiant#zagreus#hades zagreus#set you sailing from my harbour as a metaphor for hades’ actions/secrecy pushing zagreus to wanting to leave the underworld#the underworld being hades’ harbour BECAUSE THAT JUST MAKES SENSE!!!!#hades was never a good dad growing up but his claws/rage was only ever reserved for his own father#zagreus might never see the reasons for that because he was still subject to his father’s torment but hades sees this a mercy#in some twisted way ofc but still#i am selfish broken and cruel that is literally hades#I wonder how many times achilles or nyx or than or even meg have told zagreus that his father didn’t treat him well#have used those words to describe hades#hurt people will hurt people but hurt is still hurt no matter who’s recieving it#hades’ hands never has the chance to love zagreus to care for him#not when nyx’s hands held him gently when he was young#or when achilles would firmly pat his shoulder and tell him to rest after training#or when than and meg’s hands hold him and they were the ones who had the chance to lose him when he left#hades’ didn’t risk the loss of a relationship with his son but meg and than had everything to lose#god this song makes me insane#deadbaguettesrambles#long post sorry
