#so. When people call you “analytical” for noticing patterns and systems in the world and then reshaping behaviors accordingly#How are they living their lives?#What is their system of understanding the world?#Realized that I don’t actually know and it BOTHERS me#I refuse to believe that people walk around without a clue (some people do but not everyone. To believe that would be#both incredibly arrogant and false based on evidence)#So what DO they do?#Example A:#one time I was teaching a crochet class and ended up talking to a few of the ladies there about how since I had been crocheting#for 10+ years my brain didn't know what it felt like to be a beginner at it so it was cool to teach people and remember what that was like#and how I had noticed because of this that my brain was getting uncomfortable at being a beginner so I had started learning embroidery#and knitting#so that I could regain the skill of being ok with being bad at stuff#and they were like. so shocked that I had thought about that? but why?#no hate no judgement and they are all lovely and intelligent people but what system are they using for life because I DO NOT KNOW#seriously worried that I'm going to sound like a pretentious snob but no this is about wanting to understand how brains work and being#limited stuck inside my own brain that does things one way#zaki chats
