Hazbin Hotel headcanon:

There one angel who is both feared/respected in both Heaven and Hell: Samael the angel of Death. (not the same person as Lucifer) and the older sibling of Luci.

Their form changing depends on the person who they talking (only Lucifer, the Seraphims and God know their real form) and depsite having a gruesome task to murder and collect souls, they kinda peaceful person and fight as the last resort.

They also like their niece Charlie and happy to oversee her actions. Also like to banter with Alastor.

Angel of Death - Samael

My favorite character in mythology. In some scriptures he is described as a seraphim, in others - an archangel. Samael will have a huge role in "Lost Stars" (And his height is 160 cm, while Lucifer is 240 cm. Just a fun fact, they are enemies, ahahsiuasiuaossd)

Now that I’ve finished all their designs and profiles, here they are all in one place plus a height comparison!

Raphael, first born, leader of praise and the healer. Phoenix and fox. The biggest and boldest of the seven.

Seraphiel, second born, Angel of purification, the bringer of the law, owl and cat. Very strict but loving.

Uriel (who goes to become Satan) is third born, the angel of death, raven and jackal. The quietest of the group.

Gabriel is the fourth born, the angel of revelations and is the angelic messenger, hummingbird and greyhound. Sweet, playful, outgoing. Devoted to his task. Always delivers his message no matter what.

Camael (who goes to become Carmilla) is fifth born, the Angel of war and courage and bringer of peace, swan and ermine. Less quiet than Uriel, but more quiet than the rest. She’s protective of Samael.

Michael (becomes Heylel) is sixth born, becomes the leader of the heavenly choir, the leader of all the seraphim, dove and deer. He’s the most powerful of the seven.

Samael (becomes Mikkel) is seventh born, the dreamer and creator, bringer of joy, dove and deer. Would have been Lucifer if he Fell. He has the power of creation. He’s the most adaptable.

a/n: i listened to this song at least 100 times the other day, it’s really good. i think it made me cry already based on how many tiktoks i’ve seen of it.

Since the Father in Heaven created you, you have always been more curious about the different angels he created. You were the second Seraphim created after Sera, so you witnessed the birth of many angels, except for the Archangels. You were introduced to one another as royalty, treating one another with such status.

However, you always caught the eyes of a certain Archangel. He was the second oldest of God’s children, much like how you were the second Seraphim. When you were introduced to one another, you instantly clicked. You always made sure to find him once a day, conversing on several topics about Earth and the Heavens.

“Luce, where’s the— Lucifer!” You grimace at the Archangel, watching him give you a teasing grin. “You’re not supposed to touch those until later tonight.”

“It’s not my fault you decided to break into the palace’s kitchens for a snack!” He wiped his mouth with his sleeve. You scrunch your nose at the action. “So formal all the time, beautiful.”

You roll your eyes as a smile etches its way to your lips, grabbing the strawberries from the fridge. “Just help me, you idiot.”

“Rude.” He bit into a strawberry, humming at the taste. “I was stating a fact.”

Nudging his shoulder, your wings ruffle at the words. “We have to go, Luce.”

“You really just came in here to get strawberries—?”

You both froze when you heard Gabriel and Sera’s voices coming through the other end of the kitchens, glancing at one another. Without another thought, you both run toward the back door, entering the palace gardens. You flinched when you heard Sera’s booming voice from the garden.

Lucifer pulled you by the waist, and softly pushed your back on a willow tree, covering your mouth when the wind speeds increased from his brother and your sister’s wings. Your eyes widened at the action, scanning his face as he looked behind you. You suddenly felt warm. From his hand holding your waist to the close proximity, you swear you could hear your heartbeat in your ears.

“Sorry, they were looking for the culprit.” He chuckled as he removed his hand from your mouth, his golden eyes meeting your eyes. “Are you alright?”

You nod, face still warm from his hand still around your waist. “You still have frosting on your cheek, Luce…”

“Oh?” He swiped with his tongue, making you giggle. “Did I get it?”

“No.” You lift your hand, gently wiping the frosting off. “There.”

Lucifer smiled at you, “Thank you, beautiful.”

Seconds passed as you whispered back a response, letting the silence encapsulate the both of you. Your eyes searched his gaze while he cupped your cheek, rubbing softly.

“Lucifer—“

“SAMAEL!” Micheal yelled for his twin, making the both of you separate.

Your cheeks flare at the situation, watching him press a kiss to your cheek as he walks backward.

“I have to go, beautiful. I’ll see you later.” He winks, pushing off the ground with his six wings.

You lean against the tree, hand clutched by your heart. He had you hooked with a single action, but at what cost?

I could never choose to love another…

Months had passed and the Father created new souls on Earth. He created human souls, which fueled both you and Lucifer’s curiosity. You both visited them once in a while, but unbeknownst to you, Lucifer would visit without you, having built a blooming relationship with the human soul Lilith.

“Micheal!” You caught up with your creator’s eldest child, shifting your weight on your feet when he gave you an annoyed look. “Sorry, but uh… Do you know where Luc—Samael is? He promised we would have a picnic in the palace gardens today.”

“He went down to Earth to speak with Lilith again.” The Archangel waved you off. “If you wish to speak to him—“

“I’ll just go down to Earth.” You purse your lips, wings fluffing at his tone.

Lucifer said he was going to meet up with you by the gardens earlier that morning, he promised you. Did he just forget? Your heart ached at the thought as you soared down from the Heavens toward the Garden of Eden. You always loved visiting Earth’s garden, smiling when you saw flourishing greenery.

You slowly landed by the waterfall you added with Lucifer, his laughter ringing through the air. The wildlife followed you as you made your way over to the sound, your smile brightening when you saw Lucifer’s figure.

“Lucifer!” You shout for him, but the water from the waterfall drowns out your calls. You swiftly moved past all the growing plants before you froze, your heart beating harder with each passing second you watched.

Lilith and Lucifer were in a relationship?

Your heart broke as they parted from the kiss, Lilith tilting her head when she saw you. The animals surrounding you rubbed their heads against your legs in hopes of bringing your attention away from the couple.

Suddenly, Lucifer whipped around, eyes widening at being caught. Especially by you. “Fuck, beautiful—“

“I have to go.” You murmur, wings pushing you away from them.

Tears cascaded down your face as you made it back to Heaven, letting yourself break down when reaching your room’s balcony. The Archangels and Sera heard your curses out to the angel who took your heart and crushed it, frowning at the thought of what you saw.

They soon figured out the cause of your heartbreak, meaning the Angelic Council needed to make a crucial decision about the souls. With you swaying the final decision.

Lucifer watched you from where he stood with Lilith, knowing you would never look his way ever again.

“The Angelic Council voted unanimously,” Sera spoke with a delicate voice, hidden poison underneath. “You are both sentenced to Hell, becoming fallen to those in Heaven.”

You refused to look up from the papers in front of you, listening intently to your sister’s words. The whispers in the back of your head get louder as you hear Lucifer protest…

“ENOUGH.” Sera boomed her voice in the room, making you flinch. “It will be effective immediately.”

Lucifer looks back toward you, finally meeting your eyes. And for the first time, he saw guilt and anger emitting from you. He knew you loved him, but thought it didn’t mean anything until now.

Maybe one day I can learn to love you, too…

What's the premise for the Sad Angels AU ?

Why is Lucifer an angel if the original died ?

He was out of Heaven's control and the decision was made to destroy him to slow down Hell's growing aggression. And reduce their overall power.

But no one was prepared for him to be reborn and return to Heaven. It literally came as a surprise even to the Seraphim. There was no reasonable explanation for it, except one…..

So with everything going with Hell and Heaven i wanna point something out, many people were saying Hell is in desavantage in these war cause they can not have babies since Lilith is not there but neither Heaven can have babies without God.

I know you guys gonna point to Petit NPC saying that one but there is no proof they been producing more!!! (We already saw that even their orgies do not reach orgasm as they saving it to God, so no telling me they are doing the old fashion way). With that been said these makes each death on both sides permanant and an loss in combat forces, both Hell and Heaven are even in chances of loss.

My main proof of these is the Angels using the Angelification process to get more Angels, why whold they such pridiful and self important creatures of God wanna mix their angelic qualites with creatures they belive are beneth they like the Devils if it was not really need it???

As i side note i also belive Heaven is having more lossing than Hell and not because of the war but because the Seraphims are really unstable ledears and use much more self distructiong tatctis on the battlefield than self preserving ones, like they are killing their own men and using they as self bomb murder machines, that self distruction angels still count as man power loss in the battlefield.

So yeah Angelification is their plan, and Hell pick up the losses and the trauma ( there are such angsty headcannos that can been made, like how are the Devils that turn to angels treated?? To they loock they up or just use they as punching bags??? What emotions do feel like that?? We saw Nina lose her mind but she still loved and cared dearly for Samael, she cried...do You become an passagenr in your body??)

Lucifer the Fallen Angel; the King of Demons; the Scapegoat

There is a lot of lore and history to go over with this one. Let me teach you a thing or two about the bible!

--Design notes--

Between dolls, snakes, apples, circuses, ducks, etc, there were just too many motifs/thematic elements to shove onto just Lucifer. So, I streamlined and distributed. Lucifer is goat themed, Lilith is snake themed. Charlie is a mix of the two. I also use this to partly to imply that "the Devil" is not solely Lucifer. But humans mistake various different demons as one character. Lucifer is just the one who gets blamed for everything. That's part of why he's a goat; he's a scapegoat.

Goats: There was a Jewish practice during Yom Kippur to place sin onto "scapegoats" and release them into the wilderness to basically rid the people of their sin. Specifically, they were sent to "Azazel", meaning "remove from or separate from god", which refers to a desolate place.

Goats as a demonic symbol comes primarily from pagan influences rather than the Bible. I had a couple goats before settling on sheep instead, and they're just silly guys. They're not evil.

Apples- I reduced this because I think it would be more fitting for Adam and Eve. Both ate the fruit, and it didn't make them evil or anything. Also, the fruit is never stated to specifically be an apple. That only happened due to how language evolved. But I still like how his coat kinda resembles an apple core...so it can stay.

Doll- I know Charlie is meant to resemble a porcelain doll. And in canon gets it from her dad. But I don't really understand why, so I took it away from him and gave it to Lilith, since she was created and placed on earth like a doll.

King- He does not have any real authority beyond his power as a fallen seraphim. It's basically a prison, and even Lucifer is caged. Nobody bothers to respect him. So the "crown" on his hat resembles a gate or cell bars.

Ducks- I never understood the choice to associate Lucifer with ducks. And thematically, I can't really justify it. He can still like ducks, I guess. But it won't be a design motif.

Full demon: Since I'm committing to his goat theme, I figured he could have multiple horns instead of wings. He lost his wings when he fell. As an angel, his symbol was a star. As a demon, it got flipped upside down to represent a falling star. That's the pentagram. In images of the satanic goat, it often had the pentagram on its forehead, so I included that.

Angel: I want angels to look more human, so that's that.

--Wings: Seraphim are described as having 3 sets of wings. Rather than deal with all that or even try to figure out the anatomy of that, I just gave them three sets of primary feathers, which sort of imitates the 6-winged look but is easier for me to wrap my head around and draw. Also, "biblically accurate angels" aren't as biblically accurate as you think.

--Halos: I have a specific idea for how angel halos work, but I plan to get to that in a different post. For now, just know that seraphim have two halos for a reason.

--Star: A pentagram is an upside down star. It represents the fall of the morning star. So his angel symbol is a star.

Name: Helel, Lucifer, Samael

As an angel, his name was Helel, then the elder seraphim renamed him Samael after he fell, so they could pretend they're different people. He took on the name Lucifer himself after his fall.

Helel: Helel is the Hebrew word that was translated as the latin word lucifer. Helel means "shining one", while lucifer means "light bringer" or "morning star"; lucifer can also be a verb that basically means to light a match.

Lucifer: Instead of translating the word into an English equivalent, Helel was translated as the latin term, lucifer. The word lucifer is used only once in some translations of the Bible, found in the book of Isaiah, but not as a name. Lucifer was often used as an epithet for the "star" Venus, and was used to represent pride because it rose and fell before the sun. Hence why lucifer also means "morning star". In Isaiah 14:12, The king of Babylon is being called the morning star as it falls from heaven. The capitalization of lucifer was possibly a misinterpretation by the translators.

Samael is, in some Jewish stories, the husband of Lilith. So I found a way to use all three names(Helel, Lucifer, and Samael). It means something along the lines of "severity of god" or "poison or venom of god". It is also not in the Bible.

Ok till the moment I answer this question, the amount of AU increase to 14 AU =)))))))

Nate did draw sketches for some AU in the list, we will break it down for you.

1. Hellaver Secret

This AU started our Hellaverse Journal, it is the combination of Hazbin Hotel and an anime called Spy x Family. Mixing the lore of both media to create a plot that balances between fantasy and slice of life . The main couple in this AU is RadioApple, JusticeStatic is only a side dish that we came up with as a joke at first.

Basically, in this AU, Samael gave up his position as a Seraphim to become a normal human and changed his name to Lucifer. He's currently an assassin, a daughter he has with his long lost wife - Charlie, a telepath that can read people's mind and Lucifer form a fake marriage with a man named Alastor - a spy in disguise.

Michael is still an Archangel in this AU, he came down to Earth to bring his brother back to Heaven and somehow agreed to a business deal with Alastor's coworker - Vox. Even tho they hate each other, they still try to work things out because they both want to break the fake Morningstar couple.

3. Band AU

This is a human AU. All the Heaven siblings decided to create a rock band called Octagrams. Michael is the drummer of the band and Vox at first was their anti, like the kind of anti that will stalk you from behind. Vox is actually a very successful businessman but he's also a stalker cuz c'mon, it's Vox.

4. Students AU

They are high school students in this AU, and yes, Vox is older than Michael in most of our human AU. In this AU, Vox is a 12 grader student while Michael is in grade 10. If anyone wondering then no, they are not dating till later when they're both legal adults with jobs.

Michael: I think you should give up on that school already.

Vox: Shut up kid, I'm trying to concentrate.

5. Hotel Supervisor

In this AU, Michael already knew Vox when the TV was still alive. Michael has to come down Earth to do his jobs and somehow Vox was his next-door neighbor. Long story short, they then fell in love but in the end, Vox died and became a demon in Hell. Then, one day, Michael got a direct message from God ordering him to come down to the hotel, keep an eye on it and decide whether the hotel deserved a chance to prove redemption is possible. Vox then knew about Michael's appearance at the Hotel... After a long time of thinking carefully, he decided to knock on the hotel's door.

7. The contract

Michael is currently having a headache about the last extermination, about his brother and his niece, about their resistance, which could cause a misunderstanding for Heaven and made God think they want to rebel against Heaven. Michael needed to know what was happening in Hell as soon as possible and Vox was the most suitable choice for this job.

8. Soulmate AU

When humans turn 18, some of them will appear a small mark at their wrist, the mark that represent their soulmate. But love has never been easy, not everyone with the mark can find their soulmate because all the mark does is glow when your soulmate is making love with someone that is not you and you will be able to feel a faint electric shock when you meet them. The mark will disappear the moment your soulmate passes away.

Vox got his mark when he was 18. Some of his friends were jealous of him but all he felt was empty and annoyed. If anything, Vox is never the one who trusts in destiny and fate. Same with his soulmate - Michael, Archangel Michael got his mark as a gift from God but he never paid much attention to it. He didn't understand why God gave him this? The idea of himself getting attached to someone on first sight is something Michael can't even imagine.

So they both waited for the day that their mark disappeared so they would no longer be bound to a stranger anymore.

But things never go as they expected...

Destiny must be crazy when it thought that tying an Archangel and a Sinner together was a good idea.

9. Get rid of you

Michael is currently a third year law student in this AU. One day, his younger sibling Gabriel thinks it's a good idea to fill that empty fish tank in his brother's house with some fish in some skeptical looking pet shop. Lilttle did the Morningstar siblings know the mini shark they picked up at the store that day was actually a demon in disguise.

10. Roommate AU

Vox, the Static Demon and Archangel Michael got summoned to Earth in another universe where Heaven and Hell didn't exist by a mysterious cult. Because they both came from the same universe so it's best that they stick together to survive in this familiar yet strange world. It took all of Vox's neuron nerve to convince Michael and after thinking carefully about his current situation, Michael knew he will have a better chance at getting back to his world if he co-operate with an Overlord and a better chance at blending in the human world with the help of someone who used to be a human. So even though he despised Vox's existence but for his future benefits, Michael is going to spare Vox's life.

So the two began to live together to find a way to come back to their world and to survive in this society without drawing any attention to their existence.

11. Guardian Angel

In this AU, all the siblings are the guardian angels for the humans.

Raphael - Cherri Bomb

Gabriel - Niffty

Uriel - Husk

Jophiel - Velvette

Azrael - Sir Pentious

Their mission is to guide their human on the right path but sadly, for Michael, he and his human are not getting along too well. Michael could only hope that he could get the guy to be 50% better at being a good person until the day Vox dies or else Michael is going to lose that promotion that he's always wanted.

12. Your Name

Inspired by an anime called "Your Name". Basically, it depicts the story of two college students, Michael and Vox, who suddenly swap bodies despite having never met the other, unleashing chaos onto each other's lives.

If you're wondering why they're doing weird expressions that doesn't match their personality is because in the pic, these two losers are swapping bodies, Vox in Michael's body and vice versa.

13. The Moving Castle

Inspired by an anime named "Howl's Moving Castle". Vox is an overly confident man who is cursed to have a demon body with a TV head by a spiteful witch. His only hope of breaking the spell is meeting a powerful, cold and distant wizard that travels around in his moving castle.

Michael's mind is filled with doubts when he sees Vox. He couldn't believe this vile man in front of him was the one he had been searching all alone and the one who could break his curse.

14. Apocalypse AU

Take place in the post-apocalypse world where almost everything was destroyed but with advanced technology. In this AU, Vox is a mad scientist and Michael is a soldier in a poor and small area.

So Michael and his siblings in this AU were all slaves when they were small. Some were sold to by dealer or black market and others came from a corrupted lab or were kidnapped. Because the 8 of them were locked in the same cage and all of them were around the same age so they got close with each other really quickly. (In this AU Michael and Lucifer are still twins) After knowing each other for a while, Lucifer came up with the idea that all of them should have a unique tattoo so even if they got split up in the future, they will still be able to recognize each other. So time passed, one by one was sold but the place collapsed before Michael got sold. And so he was able to escape then got adopted by a soldier.

Time passed, he became one of the protectors, an excellent and skilled soldier of the area. But one day, some people in the area started to go missing and Michael has been assigned the task of finding those missing people. And he was able to track Vox down. Vox noticed there has been some annoying rat following him lately, not to mention being the first to come this close to him in the first place. So he asked his old pal Alastor - a famous hitman to deal with Michael.

Then "BANG" - a clean bullet through the head, taking away Michael's life. Vox was not going to let Michael's body going to waste so what better way to reuse the body than to create a hybrid monster (The reason why Vox want to create a monster is because he remembered Al used to tell him a long time ago that he wondered how a monster tasted like. So Vox thought maybe if he created a monster and served it to Alastor, perhaps he could fix his relationship with Alastor)

So a monster was created and so did a broken screen. (Vox did change his screen later, don't worry) What will they face together afterward? What will the future hold? What kind of madness, wacky adventure and people awaiting them? It is something that they need to go through together in the future...

...and he is about to finish Leraye so he can bring his head to Gabriel. (Who's gonna tell he,he's not getting praised unless he' God himself?)

Oh! Well Michelleel is no more....aaaand now we know why Leraye loves thunder so much. It literary saved his life when he was about to die and mind you,he loved it from the start.

This is a true love story! Screw Samael and Nina, Leraye and thunder is my new,best couple now (I didn't mean it,I'm sorry,rest in peace😭)

Headcanons about Angel Lucifer

New year, new headcanons post ^^

This time, it's more about Lucifer when he was in Heaven and about his Archangel brothers

Lucifer and his Archangel brothers were born in the midst of Darkness by the hand of the All-Creator. He is the one who brought the Light by coming into the world, hence his first name Lucifer and his title of Bringer of Light.

Lucifer's full name is Lucifer Samael Venus Morningstar.

Lucifer is the oldest of the Archangels (with Michael who is his twin) but he is also the smallest. But his very small size is matched only by his impressive power, making him the most powerful of the Archangels.

Each Archangel has a very specific role and title:

Lucifer the Bringer of Light; illuminated the Darkness, allowing Heaven to be established and Creation to begin.

Michael the Protector of Heaven; confronted Evil to push it back beyond Limbo, creating Hell.

Raphael the Guide of the Innocents; guides lost souls to Heaven.

Azrael the Judge of Souls; judges souls after their death to let them ascend to Heaven or make them fall into Hell.

Uriel the Voice of Times; can see the Past and the Future, makes prophecies that have always proven true.

Gabriel the Messenger of the Realms; has the right to travel between the Three Realms to transmit messages or Uriel's prophecies.

Each Archangel has a different physique even though they all have six wings like the Seraphim.

Michael and Lucifer are twins so they are physically very close even though Michael is the taller of the two. They are both blond with blue eyes, red cheeks and a very slender figure. Lucifer had golden edge wings and sky blue inside while Michael has royal blue edges and white inside. Lucifer wore a blue and gold edged alb with a star on his chest, just like his halo looked like a crown with a star in the center while Michael wears a alb with royal blue sleeves and gold details on his chest that represent a long sword and his halo is the one in the shape of an arrow, like a helmet to protect his head.

Raphael is the tallest of the Archangels, slender but with a thin figure and matte skin from being outdoors, his hair is brown and often badly combed since he is often outdoors. He wears clothes reminiscent of pilgrims, often having a walking stick in his hand, and wears rings composed from the energy of his brothers on his chest in order to always have them with him. His halo is quite simple with the tip moving like a compass in order to always guide him to Heaven. His wings are the most powerful, with white interiors and earth-colored edges.

Azrael is the darkest of the Archangels, whether by his hair or his black eyes (his pupils are light blue) or his long black coat that he wears constantly since the fall of Lucifer, his hood often pulled down over his head to hide it. Even his wings are black with silver edges. It is not uncommon to see him sharpening his scythe, he himself says that it is the only music he appreciates since Lucifer is no longer there to play the music he loves so much. No one really knows his height since he is always hunched over, as if crushed by grief, but he is uncompromising when it comes to judging a soul.

Uriel is the largest of the Archangels, a little shorter than Raphael and very square. His halo is the most complex, as if composed of several circles that revolve around his head. His alb is composed of pastel colors with blue and purple details with a large golden eye on his chest. His hair, once sky blue, turned white after the fall of Lucifer, always carefully styled so that his face is clear, his white wings having iridescent reflections like soap bubbles and his eyes are purple with golden pupils, always seeming lost in Time, always searching for something.

Gabriel is of average height, quite thin and with a round youthful face with dark blond hair as curly as a cherub's and joyful eyes of a beautiful olive green. His alb is green with white and gold fleur-de-lis details and his halo is the simplest, resembling just a small crown. His wings, reminiscent of those of a dove, have green edges while the inside is gold.

Lucifer's first creation was the Morning Star, hence his name Morningstar, before he created the stars, the constellations and then the Moon and the Sun. Except that when he wanted to continue creating, his ideas were too eccentric according to the Creator Angels.

Gabriel is the youngest of the Archangels, born after the Creation of Heaven and raised by his brothers. It was Lucifer who taught him to fly. He still had the appearance of a child when Lucifer fell into Hell.

Uriel saw the Fall of Lucifer and tried to protect his brother by preventing him from approaching Creation and therefore Lilith… but we all know that he failed.

None of Lucifer's brothers like Lilith. They blame her for their brother's fall even though they all blame themselves for not being there to listen to him.

All the Archangels suffered from the loss of Lucifer:

Michael locked himself away in work, only coming out during major events or to train the Celestial Militia.

Raphael traveled the entirety of Heaven and even sometimes the Earth in the form of a pilgrim, hoping to forget his brother's fate.

Azrael became even darker than he was, isolating himself in Death and regularly losing himself in limbo. Since the fall of Lucifer, he has never smiled again. He seems to be the one who suffer the most.

Uriel is now afraid of the prophecies he sees, knowing that they will come true no matter what Heaven does. He saw the birth of Charlie and the arrival of an Antichrist who will cause a great change for the Three Realms… but the Future of this Antichrist is too vague for him to know if the Future will be positive or negative.

Gabriel tries to be the one who brings happiness to his brothers, as Lucifer did, but he suffers terribly when he hears others accuse his brother of the worst horrors. For him, Lucifer is his beloved big brother, too kind to be the Monster that is described to him.

Michael is the only one (with Gabriel) to see Lucifer regularly even if their meetings are rare and a sign of seriousness.

Lucifer is angry with his brothers for not having supported him during the trial and for having abandoned him. The only one for whom he has no resentment is Gabriel who was too young.

I don't use Archangels much in my fictions in general but they are mentioned in "And there was Light…" and maybe they will be used more later.

I'm even less normal about Samifer in 2024 than I was in 2010, so here are some random Samifer/Angel headcannons I've come up with for my fic:

The Enochian language is genderless and the very foundation of it rests heavily on Names. An angel's POV would pretty much only refer to themselves as "the angel/the 'class of angel'/Name" (Basically all angels are Lorathi for GRRM nerdos). Before The Fall, Lucifer's name was Samael, but that name was stripped away during The Fall so that Lucifer can no longer refer to themselves as that, and a hole was punched in the Song of Creation to remove the name "Samael," and replace it by adjective titles like "Lucifer."

The first real act of creation by God, when he became God and began to pull away from The Darkness instead of trying to create things just to prove their worth to her, was creating light that was then split into the first four archangels. Michael is therefore not just God's firstborn son, but the first thing in all of creation. (And he's remarkably chill about it)

When God created Gabriel, the idea struck him to create things in his own image, which is why Gabriel is Like That, with God's sense of humor and propensity to Run The Fuck Away from conflict.

Lucifer manipulated events, possibly all the way back to Babylon, to not only try to plant the name "Samael" into the human lexicon but also make sure Sam was named as close to their own name as possible. (This is Super Weirdo Behavior. Michael Did Not need to put his name on Dean like a pair of underwear packed for summer camp.)

Sam thinks that Lucifer is flirting in a super dramatic angel way when they refer to Sam as "the only one throughout all of existence and all of creation," only to find out that alongside Boy King of Hell and True Vessel of Lucifer and The Abomination, another little epithet that existed eons before he was born was "Throughout All Of Existence And All of Creation, Sam Winchester Is The Last And Only Gift For Lucifer Created By God Himself."

"Lucifer's Nephillim" is a metaphor for something completely impossible in Enochian, as in "humans inventing the microwave is as likely as Lucifer creating a nephillim."

Before The Fall, Lucifer commanded the Cherubim, which includes the lower-class "Cherubs," but before humans they were all extremely powerful warrior angels second only to Michael's Seraphim. After The Fall, the ones that didn't die in the struggle were demoted and cast out and put on "grunt duty" on earth, which in turn broke and warped them into the "Cherubs" that they are today due to constant and close proximity with humans.

Angels like autistic heavens because we're the closest humans get to perceiving the Song of Creation in our senses. Lucifer's gonna get trapped by God inside a girl who's autistic about crabs.

Lucifer's first vessel Nick is actually named Nick Campbell, and he's Mary Winchester's first cousin who ran away and became a carpenter instead of a hunter because Fuck You Dark!Fic Nick Storyline I Cared Who Nick Was 8 Years Before The CW Did.

I was going to make this into art but I’ve been busy. I hope you don’t mind headcanons and my portrayal of them instead. (I will draw them and ship them with Adam eventually)

I can’t write ALL of the angels (there’s like 50+ of them and that’s not including the fallen) I’m going to focus on the 7 heavenly virtues first (excluding Michael so 6 of the 7).

Please note all of these are for the Hazbin Hotel fandom and not an actual Bible lore or theology. Although some info here are based on theology.

Gabriel (Seraph) - Diligence

He is an energetic, loud, bubbly, and trustworthy angel who is loved and respected by all. But he is scary when he is angry or pissed off

It’s not easy to piss him off but if you did, it means you’ve done something absolutely horrendous in his eyes

He enjoys watching souls get their deserved justice or punishment

Since his heavenly virtue is diligence, he is the fastest angel to finish his work. But at the same time, he also has a lot on his plate. He values breaks in-between working.

Flirts with Adam and loves to get in his personal space (Adam doesn’t mind and lets him)

He trusts Michael the most

The only beings he follows/listens to are Michael and God

He wonders why he was chosen to be God’s right hand when the position should be Michael’s (in his eyes)

He enjoys his job of delivering messages

Has the best stamina and endurance among the angels

He has a sweet tooth

Like all other angels, he is proficient in playing multiple instruments. But his most favorite instrument to play is the trumpet.

The third brother

Raphael (Seraph) - Humility

He is a calm, collected, and gentle angel who wants the best for everyone and heal them as much as he can.

He wouldn’t hesitate to scare off souls with medical threats if it means it’ll help them heal

He is a pacifist

As the heavenly virtue of humility, despite his high position and rank, he doesn’t see himself better than others and chose to ground himself (which is confusing for other angels)

As the angel of healing, he heals not just physical pain, but also emotional, mental, spiritual, etc. health.

When it comes for mental health, he does need a winner’s help since he is an angel and can’t understand human thought process that well

Surprisingly, he prefers spicy food

Like all other angels, he is proficient in playing multiple instruments. His most favorite instrument is the lyre.

He [will not be] against Charlie’s plan for redemption, but wouldn’t support it either.

The youngest among the four brothers

The tallest among the brothers

He and Gabriel tease Michael because of his crush on Adam

Also in love with Adam and loves watching Adam tend to his garden

He loves herbs, poisons, and other medical things (that includes snakes)

He is fascinated by human biology and anatomy. Adam is the usual target of this fascination

Has a doctor’s (terrible) handwriting

He is the most mature out of all the brothers

Has a sadistic side

Azrael (Archangel) - Patience

When Adam met him in Eden, the impression he got from him was that he is a shy and quiet angel.

Azrael is a flirty and playful, but kind angel that enjoys the company of his fellow archangels

He loves the nature noises (such as chirping birds, cricket noises, swaying leaves)

He is mostly remembered for his wings. Angels and winners alike describe his wings as “so black that it’s like darkness itself created a solid form to serve as his wings”

He is respected even by the Seraphim for his duty

Originally, Samael was the angel of death. The title was given to Michael, who then gave it to Azrael

He is most known for taking the souls of “The Death of the First Born” plague in Egypt. He does not like being known for it though.

He created the Grim Reapers to help him with his duties.

He once offered Abel to be his first Grim Reaper. Abel declined.

Platonically flirts with Abel. Cain does not like it (he thinks its romantic)

Romantically flirts with Adam. Cain also does not like it

Cain does not like him in general. Azrael think its because Abel sees him as an older brother. (He’s right)

Despite being younger than Michael, Lucifer, and Gabriel, they see him as an older brother figure

The only angel who is allowed to enter Hell and Heaven without permission, paperworks, etc. (This is because some depictions portray him as the one who leads souls to heaven or hell)

Doesn’t care about Charlie’s plan for redemption.

The elders are wary of him

He kept Abel’s soul until Adam died and went to heaven.

He is the one Adam first saw when he died so, like Abel, Adam has an attachment to him

Uriel (Seraph) - Chastity

He is a quiet, serious, scholarly angel with an aloof and unreadable expression.

Contrary to his serious appearance, Uriel enjoys teaching angels and winners.

He is loved by his students. Outlookers would wonder why, but his students know what type of angel he really is

He loves dark chocolates. His students are the only ones who know. He receives a lot of dark chocolate every Teacher’s Day

He tends to question anything and everything for knowledge’s sake

[will] support Charlie if she can defend her redemption project (like a research/thesis defence)

He witness Adam’s creation and grew attached to him

He guarded Eden’s gate with a flaming sword. Currently, he hid away his flaming sword only to be used if Lucifer or anything evil decides to attack Heaven

He was Adam’s teacher when he got to Heaven. Uriel taught him about Heaven, heavenly duties etc.

He doesn’t hate Lucifer per say, but he is extremely disappointed.

He enjoyed watching humanity (especially Adam) discover things. Currently, his focus are now the winners, angels, and heaven borns

He enjoys reading about human philosophers and their philosophies (both east and west)

Loves playing chess against Adam

He is the one who provides strategies to Michael and is the one who helps plan training activities

“My house is not a mess. It’s an organised chaos”

He has his moments where angels cannot tell if he is being smart or lazy.

He is great at multi-tasking

On purposely uses scientific terms to annoy Gabriel and Lucifer. He does know how to “dumb it down a notch” according to Lucifer.

Cannot be wavered once he is focus on something/s

Cassiel (Archangel) - Temperance

He is an empathic, sensitive angel who wants to enjoy Heavenly life with his fellow angels, heaven-born, and winners

When Eden was created, he wanted to visit but he was forbidden to do so. Unlike Lucifer, he controlled himself and decided not to do so

He is the fastest angel

He helps Raphael in healing Adam’s emotional health

He has a pet dragon. The dragon likes Adam

He [would be] conflicted in Charlie’s redemption plan

Like all other angels, he is proficient in playing multiple instruments. His favorite instrument is the harp

Remiel/Jeremiel (Archangel) - Kindness

He is a kind, caring, and understanding angel who wishes the best for everyone

As the archangel of hope, Remiel tends to see the best in everyone. But that doesn’t mean he doesn’t see the bad things either

He is an optimist

He is that one angel everyone goes to for comfort

He is usually the voice of reason

Like Cassiel, he also helps Adam in healing his emotional pain

Like all other angels, he is proficient in playing multiple instruments. His favorite instrument is the grand piano

Metatron (Archangel) - Human name: Enoch.

Chazaqiel (Watcher - Fallen) - Sahaquiel’s younger sister

(Queen Adam Part 5)

*Lucifer helped Emily out of the crater and they were shocked when a large dragon like being landed in front of them, this was Satan who was Lucifer’s older brother, he had once been an archangel named Samael who had fallen because he rebelled*

Satan: I felt an angel fall like us.

Lucifer: This is Emily, a seraphim. She is like a sister to Adam. Raphael took Michael’s role in Heaven after Adam killed Michael. He wanted to make an example of Emily for his cruel policies.

Satan: What the fuck is going on in Heaven.

Lucifer: I don’t know and it frightens me.

*both Satan and Lucifer helped escort Emily to the royal palace, Satan had recently surprised Lucifer, first with supporting Adam after Adam had killed Michael and now coming to help Emily after she fell, Satan was proving to be a lot kinder than he let on, when they walked into the palace Adam quickly waddled over to Emily and hugged her*

Adam: My poor Emmy, what happened?

*Emily cried as she told Adam what happened to her*

Adam: You are staying here, you are my sister and need me.

Satan: You have one amazing husband and Queen there, he is both very powerful and kind. Hell has definitely improved a lot with him as your Queen.

*Lucifer proudly smiled*

Lucifer: Yeah, he is the best. I am proud that he is my husband, my queen, and the mother of my children.

Satan: As you should be.

Adam: Come on, we can even get you a wig if you want. It won't be the same but it's something.

Emily nodded sadly, it would be better than being bald. She missed her hair. Adam took her to a spare room and helped her settle in.

Adam: Okay here you are. Our room is just down the hall it's the one with the golden accents on the door. If you need anything and I mean anything just let us know.

Emily: I'm so worried about mom..

Adam: Me too. But she is strong and can hold her own. He can't make her fall so easily. Not that it was easy for you to.

Emily: Mom is stronger and won't go down without a fight. She is above everyone and that's likely why she didn't fall with me. But she's hurt.

Adam felt his heart twist, he hated that he couldn't help Sera.

Adam: We will figure something out Em.

Satan: No problem, her fall shook the seven rings I had a feeling something like this happened.

Lucifer: Something big and bad is going to happen.
