Hello! What kind of workouts do you do, and what youtube channels do you rec???? I know youve answered this before, but i cant find the ask (^///^ )
hey! i don't really follow any youtube channels closely anymore, i just do my own thing. and also i don't mind this question being asked like 50 times because i like getting people active LOL. if my mediocre body inspires people, then i don't mind at all! read carefully anon :)
again to be completely honest, i am not an expert, never claimed to be, so whatever advice you're going to read right now is just my own experience/research. i am just a casual person who likes to move.
i started doing pushups during the pandemic in 2020 after a breakup basically, i was looking at shirtless guys on tiktok and i got inspired LOL so i just googled how to get a chest and it said pushups do the trick. and it does in fact work.
right now i'm trying to walk everyday, for example today i walked like 12-13k steps (your phone tracks this automatically, you can download an app for it too) because i read that walking is extremely good for weight loss, and just VERY good for you in general.
aside from that i have a pull up bar in my room, so basically i just lift myself up with both arms, as much as i can. i do this everyday pretty much, just randomly. i don't track anything, i just do it to maintain my body i guess? like i said idk what the fk i'm doing LOL i just workout for fun. genuinely.
in general, diet is key, make sure you're eating like an insane amount of protein per day. like 100g per day average, depends on your weight. i think the recommended amount is like 0.7-0.8g of protein times your weight. do not stop eating protein. every single day eat stuff like greek yogurt, protein shakes, protein bars (i get these from gas stations and amazon tbh) like you have to be consistent lmao.
i know protein is DISGUSTING most of the time. especially those chalky protein chips and bars. but, beauty is pain. just do it.

It was easier before, when he wasn’t aware of his feelings and even when he wasn’t allowing them to come to the surface, but now that he acknowledged their presence, she was fucking everywhere. 
He’d be out at a bar or restaurant with his friends and “she” would be seated at a table across the room. At the grocery store or gas station, “she” was checking out or pumping gas. She was never there, though. He hadn’t actually seen her since she came up to his apartment to talk, four days ago, and he’d been looking for her ever since. 
Matthew tried to be coy and ask where she was in a roundabout way but Gio was quick to catch on to his shit and answered him honestly. 
“She took her vacation this week, probably to get away from you and pestilent ways.”
“She’ll be back though?”
“I assume so, no reason to think otherwise.”

He didn’t want to do it. Doing it would mean that he was essentially confessing his feelings and giving up on his resolve but the desire to know what was going on with her was overshadowing his ego.
“Hey man,” he greeted his younger brother, giving him a big smile through the phone.
“Hey,” he returned the greeting.
“So, how you been?”
Brady laughed at that, a heartier laugh than Matthew thought necessary but he was silent anyway. 
“Fucking idiot, I know exactly why you’re calling me, you can cut the ‘how is your life’ shit.”
Of course Brady was going to make him ask about her, because he was enjoying this entire thing and he was a little shit. A little shit that Matthew was very grateful for, given the current situation.
“Fuck, fine! Have you talked to her? She’s on vacation here.” 
“Yep.” 
“And?”
“And what?” 
He resisted the urge to roll his eyes because his younger brother held all the cards and they both knew it. If he wanted to learn anything about her, Matthew had to play nice.
“Is she coming to work for the Sens?”
“Doubtful. I’m pretty sure she asked mostly out of frustration because you’re both morons and need to just go out a date, but I don’t know anything for sure.”
“You’ve talked to her though?”
“Here and there, she’s cool.”
“Yeah, yeah, thanks man.” 
A short silence lingered between the brothers before Brady spoke again.
“Get out of your head, Matt, ask her out, be yourself and go from there. It will work out or it won’t but you’ll never know if you don’t give it a shot.”
He hated advice from his little brother, slightly because he was supposed to the one to give the advice, and mostly because it irritated him that Brady was right almost all the time.
“I think I might have fucked it up beyond repair.”
“I doubt it, but I’ll talk to her, pick her brain and see how she’s feeling.”
“You know, I fucking hate that you guys are like, kind of friends.”
“I know you do. Get over it.”
The brothers ended the phone call with cheerful goodbyes and Matthew let Brady’s words run around in his head as he headed to the gym to get in an extra evening workout.

You hated that you had feelings for the idiot living on the top floor of your building but you couldn’t help it. Matthew and his irritating ways had found a place in your heart and all you wanted was for him to break down his walls and give you the best parts of him, all the time. 
It wasn’t going to happen though. He was forever going to be an asshole and you needed to accept that. The text message you sent to Brady about possibly working for the Senators was sent purely out of anger and you needed to let him know. You loved Calgary, and despite number nineteen, you loved the Flames. 
Hey, just want to say sorry for that text. Not trying to leave Calgary, just pissed off, I guess.
A few days had gone by and you felt it was time to step away for a moment, so you took your week of vacation.
No worries, I figured.
You figured?
Flames over everything, right? I knew you weren’t leaving. We should talk though, mind if I call you?
Nope, call whenever. 
You talked to Brady for over an hour and when you ended the call, you felt even more confused than you were before. Brady assured you that Matthew liked you but you had heavy doubts, considering his actions a few days prior. 
You didn’t think he was lying, but it was hard to digest when Matthew was barely even looking at you.
It’s not that I don’t believe what you’re saying, you began a text to Brady, but I tried to initiate the talk and he didn’t want it so the ball is in his court.

Matthew stood in front of her door, a ball of nerves rolling around in his stomach like a bowling ball smashing against the pins. He had no idea if she was home, it was her last day of vacation, but he hoped she was because tomorrow was going to be an early day for the both of you. 
“Hey, sorry, I’m running behind!”
She opened the door in a rush, and Matthew had to step back as he took in her appearance. Dressed in a tight, strappy silk dress that fell just above her knees and hugged her curves, she was attempting to put on her second stiletto when she realized who was actually at the door.
“Oh shit, sorry, you are not who I was expecting.” 
“Yeah, uh, I just wanted to talk but it’s pretty obvious you’re busy so maybe I should just go.”
“I have a date, so yeah, you probably should.” 
His heart wanted to beat out of his chest and he was immediately irritated by whoever it was that was taking her out. Matthew noticed Onyx laying on the floor a few feet behind her as she finished putting on her shoe and smiled immediately.
“Can I take Onyx upstairs?”
“No, Matthew.”
“Please? Just for tonight?”
He gave her his best puppy dog eyes and hoped for the best. 
“Fine, I didn’t plan on coming home tonight anyway and he loves the attention.”
He hated that she had said that. He hated that she planned to spend her night beneath someone that wasn’t him, but at least he had Onyx.
“I’ll come get him as soon as I get home, okay?”
“Yeah, of course.” 
“Hey,” the deep voice of a man interrupted their conversation, “you ready to go?” 
“Yeah sorry,” the man was giving Matthew strange looks, “my neighbor is just taking my cat for the night, let’s go.” 
Matthew watched them go hand in hand down the hall and as the elevator doors closed behind them, he hoped they had the worst fucking date ever.

For the last two days, I kinda failed my productivity challenge. I felt pretty down so it was hard to find motivation to do what I wanted to do, cause it didn't make any sens. Why studying something you're not that much passionate about? Even though I don't love it and I'm not sure about what I wanna do in the future as a job, I wanna get better at studying, memorizing things and being able to talk about it with some people.
I really enjoyed eating, drinking and reading though, and I started to take some pills (with bourrache and onagre) supposed to help my skin care. I also managed to continue my workout, took some photos and videos with my camera and edited some, so it's not a total fail.
So i'll consider today as the 4th day of productivity :
Reading
Skating
Cardio workout
Writing
Looking for some advices in a shop where there are rats (cause I'll get some in a few weeks I think)

uhhh try doing it until failure i guess, or close. i don’t have a specific number really. try it out and find out your limits. if it’s difficult, remember we all start somewhere. nothing in life that is desirable comes easy :3
do it everyday, watch videos on youtube about what a pushup does to your chest - don’t do half assed ones. look at how the professionals do them, they usually will do them niiice and slow to tear the muscle fibers hard
also diet is important, i don’t really follow a strict diet but i try to eat protein. eat like your entire body weight in protein to be safe, or anything close. chicken rice, protein shakes, protein bar, etc. get creative. also please add like sautéed veggies to your meat/rice dishes if you cook. (because it’s healthy and it gets really fucking boring just doing chicken rice ohmygod)
like obviously if you’re starting to workout and just eating like mcdonald’s and fried chicken and expecting to look jacked that’s just wild to me. always remember diet is probably like 50% of the equation LOL

Our husbands’ being soldiers, they do not have the option of Work from Home. When they come back home, they are quarantined in a room. But then this is how we, ladies supported each other and quarantined our families as a community with our own volunteered group efforts.
The families of Raksha Nagar decided NOT to step out for at least 45 days. But luckily, we got used to the system and its been continued successfully for the past 3 months.
Even before the lockdown 1.0 was announced our volunteers for main and sub teams were ready. We divided the families into groups (approximately 30-40 members each) according to the location and one member administrate each group through WhatsApp.
We tied up with an agricultural farm and two vegetable vendors.
We convinced and trained the two grocery shops outside the camp and liaisoned with a FMCG dealer & a medical shop owner.
We have ties with Godrej chicken company of Pune who can deliver our order at Nashik.
We started supporting a cold press oil business started recently.
To simplify the process, we ladies discussed the approximate grocery requirement to be stocked up for 45 days for a 4-member family. And created template lists with 4 options.  And the grocery shop packed them for all after their rush hours. We appointed 4 guys as delivery boys. After They door delivered them through the small electric vehicle available in the camp.

The choices for vegetables, non veg and other perishables are forwarded by the individuals to the WhatsApp administrator, 2 days in advance and she compiles and forwards to the chief coordinator (me). And I Forward it to the farms and shops. We staggered distribution by groups in different days to avoid cluttering and confusions.
The bill copies are sent on WhatsApp and the amount is compiled as an excel sheet and posted in groups. The families are paying it through digital means and send the screen shot on WhatsApp. End of the day the payment from the families are verified and order closed.
It appeared like a chaotic task in first week. There were raised eyebrows that is it going to work? But once the templates are ready and the system of payment got regularised it became a simple and smoother operation.
In fact with group communication, digital  transaction  and door delivery administration in place, we could actually do wonders. We adapted an orphanage which was in struggle without support. The migrant walkers had food collected from our homes group wise. Women turned entrepreneurs by baking cakes and crafting gifts for birthdays as shops were closed. Few prepare food material for long storage with traditional methods and supply everyone on payment.
We share, care and remain happy and safe as a community with just little more efforts on our day today life. It’s is not tough. It just requires an attitude.
Household chaos, cooking for kids, and I have some social responsibilities here as a military wife. I’m in charge of arranging essentials for 300 families, plus my business.

As it all happened so suddenly, we happened to work from home. I chose to stay in my village, away from the city chaos in pursuit of peace and calm. I moved away from Chennai, went to my small remote village, where I was born. Here no shops, no cars, no bikes, even no small shops available. Entirely agriculture-based village.
After moving away from Chennai, settling in a small village, and continuing to WFH was a massive challenge for me for one month due to inferior internet quality... Later I managed to get a fiber net connection, which was very surprising for me even to find it here.
Due to COVID 19, My Company, Ford India,  planned a massive purchase pipeline, so I am managing my team sitting from this village...
Significant reasons why I moved away from city life-
1)  No worry about social distancing in my village. A very remote place with limited population
2)  In Chennai, after a few days, we need to depend on supermarkets for groceries and vegetables. Here everything is available in the house for the next year or forever.
3)  I am happy that I am spending more days with my parents after my schooling in my village. I was reminiscing all my childhood memories like sleeping on the terrace under the sky, cooking dinner with fresh homegrown vegetables, taking a walk with my kids in the village roads breathing clean air.
Fortunately, I got an opportunity to relive the life I always missed, and that is so close to my heart.

And she wouldn’t stop -- a few years later, I joined social media only to learn she is a Yogini. Inspired by her dedication and progress, I took to Yoga in 2018 and became an Internationally Accredited Yoga Instructor and also recognized by the Ayush Ministry, the Government of India.
P.S. I had lost touch with Yoga for a long time, but 2020 and this lady have given me a chance to bounce back and upgrade myself through such beautiful balance poses🙏🏽

*During the Lockdown*
Well, the lockdown started with numerous things and my effort to inculcate things that I saw on social media. While some people started the so-called 30 Day challenges and posting their workout routines, I was struggling with the basic push-ups. The good part of this is, once you start doing it and do it regularly, you will begin to realize the amount of strength you had in you.
Oh, that new coding language, I was yearning to learn but could never find the time. I finally started and completed the entire learning too. Crazy how a unified and focused effort can bring change in two months. I got into this habit of jotting down things I learned and made sure that I learned at least five new things a day. You will be amazed by the end of the year how to have 2000 new things in your head that you never knew. Good that I started.
This lockdown made me way nearer to myself than I ever was. The path to self-discovery might be different to different people. For me, it was more of accepting myself for who I’m—that feeling of being comfortable in your skin. Sometimes acceptance got me over these body complexes I had, being the skinny guy I’m.
I began to develop habits, specifically, the ones that can be life-changing or something as simple as taking a daily walk in the evening or washing the dishes as soon as you’re done with eating. I began to develop new tastes. Suddenly Jazz felt like never before. I started listening to a lot of Indie music. I came across this band, “That Boy Roby.” The track name was “Lost in Shimla,” and damn, you just can’t help yourself feeling lost in the melody of the guitar. As the name suggests, the track takes you on those untrodden, meandering, mountain tracks of snow-laden Shimla.
Self-discovery took me through a path I had never considered before—the path of getting connected to people you love and care about. I started talking to dad about things we never discussed. I asked him about his memoirs of his old man and how he felt about him, how he felt when mom passed away and what he went through when I was a rebellious teen and started getting into bad habits. He spoke about his youth days and gave me advice about things that I should do in life. Damn, I realized how less I knew about him and how much he loved me.
I went through all my love letters and began pondering about the ups and downs, my wife and I have gone through the last ten years of our relationship. Let me tell you something that I realized, and most men wouldn’t admit. No, not the fact that we are all trash ;) but we put so much effort into winning over someone and return to our own(lazy) selves after we have them in life. Sometimes this awareness is necessary, and it makes you realize that relationships are not a one-time thing, rather a continuous effort to keep things kindled. I learned that sometimes saying “I Love You” in person means much more than writing essays about your never-ending love on social media (funny how we live life and behave everything as if it were a recording to be put in social media and forget about actually living the moment). I began to have more and more of those 2 am conversations. I understood the fact that our lives need not be a long narrative, and it’s best when it’s filled with small random bursts of happiness. To summarize, I started living life again.

I planned to visit my hometown before the lockdown started as I could never have gotten this opportunity to spend so much time with my family and wfh parallelly. I coincidently happened to meet my childhood friends. We were sitting and chatting, and it was appeasing to know how they were contributing to help the small business in Machilipatnam during a difficult time. I immediately joined them in this cause. Five of us found that it was logistically impossible for a  retail business to keep running due to zero movement during the lockdown. It was difficult to generate demand and move stock from one place to another. We created a Facebook business group for a targeted set of audience, mostly local retail businesses. The critical aspect is to have genuine people joining the group for which we allowed only those who had proof of running a retail shop. We added 300 people in the last 15 days. It covered mostly all retail businesses like cement, hotel (food), groceries, professional services, etc. Our place was constantly fluctuating from the RedZone to the orange zone and back to RedZone. The administration was changing rules dynamically. Our Facebook group happened to be one information source for these retailers to know the regulations and amendments announced by the government now and then.  
Help is two-folded. it served as a  
Channel to provide latest updates on rules and traffic adjustments to the retailers
It is attracting even the customers to the group that would help us to generate demand for the businesses. What was required from the businesses is to publish product rates that have demand.
Once the order is confirmed, we were also helping them to get appropriate permission from the government for the transportations for the goods.
We instantly had 300 businesses registered to this group and saw decent demands coming in too. It is still a small initiative but makes a lot of difference to those small businesses who would die if they do not get some direction during this time. It gives us immense pleasure to become a helping hand to the local businesses that are the strength of our country at this time. Cheers!

"These files are complex and will take time to complete," spokesperson Patrick Samson said in an email, explaining that, among other things, the CRA has to wait until taxpayers exhaust any appeals before it can collect from them, which can add years to the timeline. "The CRA has reported on collections related to offshore projects in the past, some four to seven years after the projects ... started," the agency said. One such example is a 2008 leak of banking records from HSBC in Geneva that ultimately led to more than $60 million collected by the CRA and Revenue Quebec.  "The CRA will report on the Panama Papers project collections at a similar stage of the project." That means the agency likely won't provide a number for how much — if any — unpaid tax it might recoup from the Panama Papers until at least spring 2020. Another factor that is slowing down the tax-recovery process: The CRA isn't allowing anyone identified in the Panama Papers to make a voluntary disclosure, except under what it called "exceptional circumstances," so that they don't get the amnesty from penalties and criminal prosecution normally provided under the program. That means CRA auditors will have to grind through potentially thousands of pages of paperwork to trace hidden money, without the benefit of taxpayers volunteering the information. But Sen. Downe said the CRA's inability to point to any money it's recovered so far from the Panama Papers, while more than a dozen other countries can, shows the agency doesn't take offshore tax evasion and avoidance seriously. "Compare that to domestic tax evasion, where the revenue agency does a very good job if you're trying to hide your money in Canada and not pay taxes. But on overseas tax evasion, they give people a free pass," he said.
