Since I hopped on to share about the TSE Secret Santa, I thought I’d give a little update/prayer requests ✨

1) I have started only going to PT once a week, it’s a trial run, but so far it’s been okay. It is nice to have more days open for other appointments and to hang out with people. I’d appreciate prayers that it continues to go well

2) I have been attending a “Freedom” group at a new church and this coming weekend (November 15-16) they are having a conference for it. I’m doing okay right now, but prayers especially for spiritual health and that this conference would be encouraging/help with a lot of the stuff I’ve been struggling with, and protection leading up to it/that I’ll actually be able to go

3) I also met a few other young adults at the church, one offered to take me to the YA service they have every week, I didn’t get to go this week, and riding in a new car with someone I don’t know is kind of intimidating for me. I’d appreciate prayers just for being able to connect and wisdom and peace about if I do ride with her to the service this week or any coming weeks.

4) Im not very excited about winter and the time change, some for reasons I’ve dealt with for a while but some things connected to recent hurts as well. Prayers for wisdom and actually being able to enjoy some of the season would be appreciated

so.......unsurprisingly i got nothing done. i think i just need a break from tumblr until we're past the holidays bc it's hard to be here for more reasons than one. i'll pop in with slow activity over the course of december but until new years i'll be on a semi-hiatus and i know it's like ok you're never here anyway, but i just wanted to say smth!

i have starters to do and i WILL do them, but it'll just have to be when i have time to actually sit down (bc holiday shit is wilddddddddd) and i appreciate all understanding! also, happy thanksgiving??? i guess??? as an indigenous person, i just use this holiday for the food and my family (i think most people do) but do y'all also get white people trying to gaslight you into thinking that the pilgrims were genuinely kind to the natives when they got here? bc i've heard it all lmao

it  was  no  secret  that  rupert's  car  before  this  shiny  new  one  was  on  its  last  leg  and,  frankly,  dangerous  to  drive  around  in.  but,  it's  also  not  a  secret  that  he  had  chosen  this  car  for  specific  reasons  such  as  a  newer  version  and  'i'm  not  as  old  as  you  all  make  me  seem'.  of  course,  the  whole  new  shiny  version  of  himself  he  was  attempting  to  outwardly  portray  wasn't  exactly  fooling  anyone,  least  of  all  himself.  he  didn't  exactly  enjoy  the  way  this  car  drove,  despite  it's  seductive  appearances  and  lusty  crimson  color.  he  wanted  something  else,  more  his  real  style,  and  that's  why  he  thought  about  giving  it  to  dawn  once  she  achieved  her  driver's  license.  he  didn't  want  to  tell  her  yet,  though,  he  wanted  to  keep  it  as  a  surprise  to  her.  he  should  probably  consult  with  buffy  first  and  foremost,  after  all.

he  sat  back  in  his  seat  and  forced  himself  not  to  be  a  backseat  driver,  keeping  his  eyes  focused  on  the  road  and  keep  his  breathing  under  control.  his  eyes  rounded  out  in  fear  when  his  car  suddenly  jolted  forward  when  she  let  go  of  the  brake  too  fast.  he  braced  himself  with  the  door  handle  as  he  slowly  looked  over  at  dawn.  he  shook  his  head  lightly,  ❛  dawn,  please,  language  ...  ❜  he  stated  softly,  clearing  his  throat  nervously.  he  expected  hiccups  from  her,  so  he  kept  his  thoughts  to  himself.  he  chuckles  gently  under  his  breath,  ❛  yes,  well,  it's  beginning  to  get  on  my  nerves,  quite  frankly.  m'  glad  you're  enjoying  it  more  than  i  have.  ❜
