I imagine if I said, to a fellow Will Wood fan, that "Mr. Capgras Encounter a Secondhand Vanity is my favorite music video by Will" I'd very quickly have to clarify a few things.

Like, I am keenly aware why that video is not only unlisted but also has comments turned off. I've seen what people say on TikTok before, and it is a completely understandable reaction. If anything, I'm happy Will did that rather than put up with the BS.

However, I absolutely love the facial expressions in the music video. Basically all of Will's music videos are amazing for my autistic brain that loves actors that act with their faces. Like, genuinely, I just love watching how his mouth move in the video and stuff. It's so cool to see. You can never get a level close up like that from a live recording, you know, which is why the music videos feel so distinctive to me.

Idk, I just talked with a friend about it today and he pointed out the whole idea of "artistic nudity being dead" and it got me thinking about the intricate reasonings for why I resonate with that video.

Also the black and white filter is really fucking cool and Will looks so fucking fabulous, it's great.
