mid week was called 'gringo' for literally no real reason imo, other than an assumption bc my posts are in english when referring to a spanish speaking program. and im ending the week with twitter discourse bc a reporter told jenna ortega she was latina enough. okay. lets pack it up.

#selena's (quintanilla) spanish was not great and i never see anyone disparage her or question whether she was latina or not #and of course the tweet popping off is by an argentinian and written in english #why are you always at the scene of the crime???#you are making everyone look bad and i mean everyone not just one country #and bc of course its women like ortega or gomez who dont count as latina but anya taylor joy does bc she speaks spanish #like you still prefer whiteness over...anything #and this 'latina enough' only ever happens to women #i never see this happen to men #actually this happened to coleman domingo this year my bad #but now we're entering how black latinos are also excluded and thats a whole other awful thing
