hello! it’s that time again i try to sell myself as a potential writing partner. i have written these in the past and been successful in occasionally finding roleplay partners who are interested in the same sorts of things as me. so i am looking for people who want to world build with me. i really like discussing plots, headcanons, and anything that can make me understand your muse better! i love sharing memes, drabbles, not roleplaying linearly and tossing around multiple threads! i don't need many people to write with but i really prefer to have a handful of people who i know well, am invested in their muses/feel super comfortable with my knowledge of their muses & pingpong my annoying ideas at them easily.

i tend to write lengthier things but i am okay with any length as long as it’s not one-liners! i also have zero interest in writing with someone who i will only have one thread with and never speak to again. 💀 i just rather focus on threads that will grow outside of just one single reaction! i like to think i am pretty easy to toss shit around with but i am a little shy so sometimes it takes a while for the ball to start rolling but once it is i am full-sending that shit.

CHARACTERIZATION: i exist in extremities. i like writing really bad villains with zero remorse or softer characters with a more righteous morality. i enjoy writing against almost everything. i am open to exploring most things and you can find out more extensively my habits through my rules.

I'm not up to date with the storyline / recent update on H:SR yet but I don't mind spoilers!

ABOUT ME. My name is Min, I'm over 30 years of age and I've been rping in various fandoms for over 15 years. I work during the week so replies are slow, but I'm usually online and available through DMs or discord (for mutuals only).

REQUIREMENTS. If you are interested in roleplaying with me, you must be at least 18 years of age, ideally over 21. I make no exceptions for minors, regardless of thread content. I will gravitate towards H:SR canon muses, but I am open to OCs if the character appeals to me and crossovers if I can see a way to merge our worlds together.

WRITING. I prefer plotted threads and longer replies (on average I'll write 3-6 paragraphs), but I don't expect you to match length. What matters to me is the content of our posts and our ability to progress in the story we want to tell. I don't really do short convos anymore (unless it's dash crack) and I don't write unplotted starters because they often lead nowhere. If you have ideas for our muses, just message me and if you don't have ideas yet but would like to write, let's plot together :)

MEMES. Best way to get something started with me is through memes. Any memes in my meme tag are available without time limit for all mutuals, so no need to ask first, just send in whatever tickles your fancy! Heads up: it might take me forever and three days to respond, but I will get there eventually. Feel free to reblog any meme posts directly from my blog, I don't mind that at all.

SHIPPING. I am open to shipping and I would love to develop something more profound and long-lasting for Dan Heng. He is not an easy muse to ship with and I don't insta-ship, but I very much enjoy writing ships. If I write multiple ships, they are automatically in separate verses unless discussed otherwise. As an example, I'd be happy to explore Dan Feng/Yingxing in past threads and its repercussions on the present, but I'm also perfectly fine writing them without any romantic context. I have a soft spot for Jing Yuan / Dan Heng, particularly if Jing Yuan had feelings for Dan Feng in the past, because I think that would make for a beautiful angsty love story in the present :) But here as well, I just love the dynamic and I'm happy to write then as platonic dynamic, as long as we can agree that they have a complex connection. Please note that I do not ship Dan Heng/March 7th romantically and I am torn on shipping him with the Trailblazer (that one's debatable), but I'll happily write them as a platonic dynamic. If you're interested in writing a ship with me, best come discuss it with me directly.

SOCIAL POLITICS. I am against callout and cancel culture and do not engage in it. Callouts will not be reblogged - I curate my dashboard my own way and I have no interest in being dragged into other people's fights. I don't respect publicly hating on fictional ships, characters or portrayals. I will never harass anyone or shame them for the fictional things they choose to write, I simply avoid, blacklist or block what I don't want to see. I believe the RPC would be a better place if people tried to be more tolerant, respectful and kind to one another.

In regards to my Commander Shepard, HOF, Sole Survivor, and Courier Six, all of them are canonically single. If writing with a companion of those characters, I prefer to talk out the dynamics so to respect all mun’s portrayals! I only ship with plotting and chemistry. If you post a lot about shipping I’ll probably unfollow. If I notice muse hoarding then I will also unfollow. I respect MCs, but expect the same respect in turn. I will absolutely not pander to MC characters like Sole Survivors, Couriers, HoFs, Inquisitors, Vs, or Commander Shepards. My muses aren't dolls to fill space in fanfic, and neither are yours, so lets come up with some fun new things together that might not be what the canon expects at all! I do write nsfw, but it’s always a part of a more cohesive story and with friends above the age of 25 that I feel comfortable with. I don’t tend to ship with multiples of the same character, but if I have a ship with one, then I will default to only writing platonic threads with every other instance of that character unless it is acknowledged and permitted by the mun of the muse that it is a ship I have multiples of. If development begins to turn romantic, I then do my utmost to make sure story lines and different themes are explored so it is an entirely fresh, new, and original experience. VI. THREADS. Any of the memes I post and reply to are free game to be turned into threads! VIIA. CONSEQUENCES. Many of my muses are morally ambiguous or hold ideals I do not necessarily agree with. I am not a chance for you to step onto a soapbox and verbally abuse my muse. If your character chooses to act hostile, my muse will retaliate. I don’t like writing out fighting and combat threads generally because of people not knowing how to not be the best, and will only do so with plotting beforehand. Don’t god mod or assume meta knowledge of my character without first discussing with me. My muse will not always win a fight, and I expect my writing partners to be of the same sort of mindset. VIIB. RESPECT. Conversely, I also have some muses who are more light hearted and goofy. I understand making them the punchline of a joke, but I don’t appreciate it being at the expense at their character. I try to make my muses three dimensional and it sucks when they turn into the butt of jokes time and time again. Don’t do that. VIII. MISCELLANY. WHAT’S YOUR OTP FOR YOUR MUSE?: i clearly don’t know the meaning of one true pairing, so let’s just go with a list, shall we? melibelle is probably the top contender for this title currently, especially with finally getting some more crumbs of them in the finale, clizzy was my very first ship in the show and remains to be one of my absolute favorite romantic and platonic pairings, rizzy is a beautiful ship that i was all for exploration of in the show and has since become a ship i adore, with thanks to jolly for that. jonathan/isabelle is a ship i always wanted some exploration of in the books, and then even more when they had their scenes together in the first handful of episodes in 2b (and later? i can’t remember now but i wanted more and never got it and i’m still sad about it), and maia/isabelle has become a top ship because they’re the soft and caring girlfriends both girls deserve.

HOW LARGE DOES THE AGE GAP HAVE TO BE TO MAKE IT UNCOMFORTABLE?: it definitely depends on the age of the characters themselves, but anything where a character is under age and one over....and really, i think that’s the biggest thing. unbalanced power dynamics tend to make me more uncomfortable, which definitely can fall in with shipping someone in their late teens/early adulthood with someone twice their age, but it’s really just then. i’d say i’m most comfortable when the youngest character is at least 25, since that’s just younger than my own age, and the gap itself doesn’t matter too much, so long as there’s clear boundaries and understandings between the characters? if that makes sense.

ARE YOU SELECTIVE WHEN SHIPPING?: hm, only if there’s not chemistry, or if the ship feels unbalanced. if there’s a lot of things going on that are for the sake of one character and one character only, with no real benefit happening in this dynamic for the other, then i’m less inclined to write it, especially romantically. but honestly, i ship a lot and izzy’s such a big hearted character, she deserves all the love so i’m generally more than open to it.

HOW FAR DO STEAMY MOMENTS HAVE TO GO BEFORE THEY’RE CONSIDERED NSFW?: okay so i’ve written these moments on all levels, from pretty explicit to much less explicit and it really depends on the comfort level.but  i’d say definitely when clothes are coming off and there’s a lot of detail is when i’d tag things as nsfw or put it under a cut for everyone’s comfort, at the very least. anything that you wouldn’t really read out loud in public i think is a good reference point.

WHO ARE OTHER MUSES YOU SHIP YOUR MUSE WITH?: EVERYONE. honestly, as far as canon goes, the only people i don’t really ship isabelle with is canon male shadowhunters (outside of jonathan), and that’s simply her own bias and discomfort with it, which i’ve come to realize over the time of writing and getting to know the characters. but ocs? crossover ships? i’m so game, let’s go, let her love your character.

ANY NOTPS?: i’d say sizzy, but only in canon terms. in aus or fully talked about before hand so we can fix canon’s problems? ALL FOR IT. in fact, i want it. actually, jk, we don’t support incest on this blog.

DOES ONE HAVE TO ASK TO SHIP WITH YOU?: i don’t really auto ship, but i’m more than open to shipping, so you’re really welcome to send me a shippy meme, something that implies it or anything of the sort, and we can test the waters! the only thing i do ask is that we should definitely talk if there’s chemistry in our writing and we both notice it, and really it’s just because i want to scream about our characters and their potential. i don’t want to force a ship on anyone, and i do ask that the same benefit be given to me in return, but my muse is a character who definitely loves to be shipped with, so please. if you ever want to ship with her, send a meme or send a message and let’s chat about it.

HOW OFTEN DO YOU LIKE TO SHIP?: what a weird question. i don’t go in to things wanting to ship unless it’s pre-discussed and plotted, but i like to let things happen on their own. i’ve found some beautiful ships that way, and it makes things a lot easier when my muse can tell me she’d like to be linked to someone romantically, and not me trying to force her into something she’s not interested in, which makes everything so much more difficult.

ARE YOU MULTISHIP?: yes, always. there’s maybe one ship on this blog that’s single ship, but really, everything is fair game, unless, obviously, an exclusivity is discussed.

ARE YOU SHIP-OBSESSED OR SHIP MORE-OR-LESS?: definitely ship more or less. i love shipping, and i love writing my girl in romantic relationships, but the core of what i’ve always written with her has been platonic and familial relationships, and i welcome every and all ships here. they definitely do not need to be romantic, and often times the more important ones are not.

okay so here’s the dealio -- i don’t actually ship things until i write them. i have always been this way. when i read fanfics, i just try to avoid problematic or annoying pairings but other than that, literally anything goes. in fact, i get more excited about pairings that rarely exist because unexplored dynamics are !!! fucking incredible, thanks.  ★ WHAT ARE YOU WILLING TO RP WHEN IT COMES TO SHIPPING?:

it depends on the kind of muse -- i gravitate towards either fundamentally very good characters, or irredeemable villains, and with the latter i wouldn’t so much call it shipping as like, flings or lust? so that’s it’s whole other thing. with other characters, esp the ones i have on this blog, what i don’t like is like, infidelity / hurting each other / toxic stuff. life is hard enough my sweets, i’d rather the angst (which c’mon, that’s my straight up jimmy jam) be more cooperative in nature. working through problems together, etc. or addressing flaws in ways that lead to growth. and there’s all the cute stuff which is just like oh hell yes. (i do have one notable exception to this in my mind that i’d be super down to try, even though it’d probably be a pretty rocky relationship. and it does depend on the muse and the partner -- a long term partner can talk me into literally anything and i’ll love it.)

listen listen listen. my dudes. my friends. my least favorite trope in the entire universe is the age gap trope. on tumblr i’m doubly against it because there is so much fucking rampant pedophilia, in the rpc & just in regular fandom, that i won’t even dignify non - underage age differences. but just in general, i don’t derive any satisfaction from pairing together two characters in different stages of their life so it all depends. if someone is thirty, then they’re in a fairly similar stage of life to someone who’s forty. but hell, even in those college AUs i get skeeved by freshman / senior romances. like, rule of thumb -- maybe a year or two difference if they’re younger than thirty? that’s about it. anything bigger and i’m completely not into it. the only exceptions are like maybe one? or two canon ships.  ★ ARE YOU SELECTIVE WHEN SHIPPING?:

absolutely, yes. it’s probably evident that i don’t write too much shippy stuff? tbh, since i’m only invested in emotional growth and The Feels™ i don’t need shipping for that. i love deep, deep, ride or die friendships and partnerships of every kind. so what i look for in shipping is chemistry -- when the two characters get something out of the romantic relationship that’s different. that’s why my ships are really intense and meaningful. however, i’m willing to discuss any ship, no matter how far flung or improbably. some of my OTPs have literally been created by me and my partners through writing.  ★ HOW FAR DO STEAMY MOMENTS HAVE TO GO BEFORE THEY’RE CONSIDERED NS.FW?:  

i don’t get any particular excitement or pleasure from roleplaying nsfw. like, i only really care about sappy shit like emotions so unless it’s a super emotional moment like, it literally doesn’t matter how many times someone orgasms. i’m not morally or physically opposed, but it doesn’t appeal to me. i’d prefer to fade to black, just because it’d be boring and unengaging for me unless, of course, the emotional stakes are present. it’s not a turn off, just not enough on its own to warrant me to care how far to take things.  ★ WHO ARE OTHER MUSES YOU SHIP YOUR MUSE WITH?:
