Well, I got hit by a drunk driver. Always wear your seatbelt, it can and will save your life. My hips are bruised and have friction burns, but NO HEAD TRAUMA! I got smashed between the drunk who rear ended me and the guy I was stopped behind at the light. I’ve got cuts and bruises deep and dense enough to be seen on X-ray, but the only broken bone is my toe. I’m lucky to even be alive. Don’t drive drunk, wear your seatbelt. And I’ll be back with more art as soon as I can move without groaning like an arthritic old man. 👍🏻 Shoutout to Fortville PD and I believe it was Seals ambulance that responded so quickly to free me from the car and get me to the ER. Shoutout to the offduty EMT who called the ambulance after seeing the wreck and kept me as calm as she could. I would have been way more panicked if it wasn’t for her. Shoutout to the officer who came with me to the ER to tell me what happened. Blackouts in moments of severe trauma and retrograde amnesia are things. I didn’t know what happened, I just knew I was bleeding and in pain. He even dug my phone and purse out of the wreckage for the ambulance to take with me.
