KYLE: [chuckles] IAN: Mostly because she’s trying to prove that they’re space aliens. KYLE: Well, yeah. This is a bit like Predator, but… IAN: [laughs] KYLE: …if the Predator were just a silly, goofy alien, and there were six of them… and they all hated each other. [chuckles] And they were just cartoonish. IAN: Zavok all geared up for war, standing in the remains of the Lava Castle. [as Zavok, imitating Arnold Schwartzenegger] “I’m here! Come kill me! Come on! I’m here!” KYLE: [laughing] “Do it!” IAN: Sticks steps out. [as Sticks] “Finally! I want some answers!” [as Zavok] “You’ve got to be kidding me.” KYLE: [laughs] I like that Sticks can take on the Deadly Six, no problem, no trouble. [chuckles] Brilliant. Good note to end on. Today I went into a house that looks sort of like a castle that was so waterlogged the toilet rocked in the soggy floor. We found a 9mm bullet and a stain on the floor that may have been blood (unrelated to the bullet). My 60 year old butch dyke aunt and I made a pact to get stoned on the roof of it once she finishes renovating it a few years from now. We threw firewood so soggy it crumbled in our hands into a big, red, brand new, steel dumpster. There was a fern growing out of the garage door. An Eraser (starring Arnold Schwartzenegger) VHS tape was in a trash can in the dumpster. I didn't take it, it was a dead man's, and out of reach.

My new septum ring got delivered today. The hose adapter I'd ordered for my air compressor doesn't fit. I spent 6 hours on the road.

Just finished 1994's Junior - a fantastic film, highly recommend watching for the first time or revisiting especially for omegaverse fans.

If the story took place in an omegaverse au it would be labeled as "non-traditional" for sure.

Alex (Arnold Schwartzenegger) as the big buff and super sweet omega. Larry (Danny DeVito) as his brainy/zany/supportive beta best friend. Diana (Emma Thompson) as Alex's alpha love interest, who is fun, clumsy, scattered, and loyal. Angela (Pamela Reed) as Larry's ex - also a beta.

You've got everything in there. The omega male who isn't feminine, submissive, or demure. The alpha female who isn't masculine, tough, or intimidating. A fun beta x beta relationship. Male omega and female beta pregnancy.

Even if you aren't an omegaverse fan, this is still a hilarious plot with lots of laugh out loud moments, a lot of heart, and will leave you with a smile on your face.

La saga cinematografica de I mercenari nasce da un'idea molto semplice e divertente. Realizzare un film reclutando i maggiori protagonisti del genere action degli anni '80-'90. E quindi: Mel Gibson, Harrison Ford, Bruce Willis, Sylvester Stallone, Dolph Lundgren, Wesley Snipes, Antonio Banderas, Bruce Willis, Jason Statham, Eric Roberts, Arnold Schwartzenegger, Jet Li, Jean-Claude Van Damme e chi più ne ha, più ne metta che sempre bene ci stanno. Il quarto capitolo non è bello e divertente quanto i primi due. Troppi effetti speciali digitali. E la storia, oltre a essere risaputa, è fin troppo prevedibile. Però le scene d'azione non sono mica male. E c'è un buon ritmo. Spero si fermino qui. Altrimenti la minestra rischia di sapere soltanto di acqua calda. E non sarebbe una bella cosa.
