Jewelea is very into the singing part of it, so she definitely drags everyone into caroling. She is the only person in the entire world who can get Jade to sing. This inevitably ends in violence when someone compliments Jade's singing voice and Frank has to hold her back from attacking them (yeah she's weird but we love her)

Scarlet loves Christmas cookies. More the eating than the baking, unfortunately for her, so she has to convince someone else to do it. She bribes them (and by them I mean Nicholas) by promising to make hot chocolate, which is one of VERY few things she has enough patience to make. Oh, and she also enjoys trying to trap her OTPs under mistletoe (Samuel helps her with this)

Nicholas enjoys holiday baking with Jewelea, and he likes caroling, too! Jade WOULD enjoy Mistlefoe if Frank wasn't such a killjoy and insisted that it's not allowed. Instead, she likes Christmas lights, and watching Christmas movies. You'd think that Home Alone or Die Hard were her favorites, but she actually loves A Charlie Brown Christmas

Samuel will wear Christmas sweaters or he will perish. He has enough sweaters in his closet to last the entire season without wearing the same one twice, plus some extras for his friends in case they need them. Half are very tasteful, and half are HIDEOUS

Frank would claim that his favorite part of the Christmas season is the end, but he would be lying. He has two favorite parts-- one, watching Christmas movies with Jade, and two, going to the Christmas Eve service. He just loves the candle light, the songs, the quiet solemnity as everyone remembers the reason behind the season

*clutches heart* MY FRIEND. Thank you SO MUCH for asking!!! Okay, so the main OCs that I post about on here are my chaotic warrior children:

Frank, who is the team dad, constantly stressed, and miiiiiiiight be falling for Jade

Jewelea, who's the team mom and has an excellent friendship with several dragons

Jade, who is chaos incarnate, never listens to the law and maybe possibly has a thing for Frank not that she'd EVER admit it

Scarlet, Frank's little sister who is also chaotic and drives him bonkers-- and has AMAZING fashion taste

Nicholas, who possibly the most chill one there, literally the nicest person you will ever meet, his dad was allegedly killed by famous mass murderer Rosie the Ladle

and Samuel, who's definitely the only one there without a bucket load of trauma, has no responsibility and is hilarious, and helps protect cities from herds of wild vampires on his weekends

They're all training to be warriors on the island of [REDACTED], and I love them and their issues very much

My OC Children Arrive To Tumblr

What's up, y'all? I'm forcing you to meet some OCs of mine cause I like sharing their sheer chaos-- I'll probably write about them someday, but not yet. They're warriors training on an island called [REDACTED BECAUSE I'M NOT READY TO SHARE IT YET] and I love them very much.

Frank D'Eval: Team dad, constantly stressed, always arguing with Jade because aggressive romantic tension.

Scarlet D'Eval: Frank's younger sister. That one kid who will make friends with EVERYONE. Also a fashion icon, and a hard core shipper. Likes to annoy her dad (who sucks)

Jewelea Wild: Incredibly cool character who is the only one with a braincell (but also has and will again approach rage-filled dragons). Team mom but a lot more calm than Frank because Frank has to deal with Jade.

Nicholas Dontell: Like your chill older brother but with common sense. He's like if a goth and a hippie had a child, which is not REALLY what happened, but it's pretty close.

Samuel Hawkwater: Fashion icon with no self control and waaaaaaaaaay too much chill

Jade: Sassy and hiding pain. Will kill a man for five bucks or free coffee, hates authority figures. Has feelings for Frank but shoves them down because she hates feelings, and the world, and also politicians and toll booths. Basically a criminal but her friends are keeping her on the straight and narrow for now. She has no last name because A) she doesn't know her birth family and B) she's too cool and Extra for one

I feel like I haven't posted enough about my OCs on here, so I'm gonna start putting up stuff about them every so often. So, first up is this one--

My OCs playing Mario Kart

Jade: She and Frank have a deadly rivalry. They literally have a scoreboard permanently posted at Nicholas's house (which is where they go to play. They used to go to Frank's house, but then Jade set his curtains on fire after a particularly violent match, and Frank's dad did not appreciate that. At all.) and each makes sure that their wins are precisely tallied up. Jade is merciless, and gets aggressively competitive

Frank: This might be one of three games that he actually gets competitive at, and BOY does he get competitive. He has to defeat Jade. HE HAS TO. He's a lot more patient than her, and he's better at taking things slow and not going over the edge, so he wins more often than she does. This makes Jade grumble that someone should invent a weaponized cart so she can blow up Frank's. Frank is very glad no one has actually taken that suggestion

Scarlet: Scarlet is one of those who will play with Frank and Jade. She's competitive, too, but mostly has fun egging the other two on and pitting them against each other. She uses this to win, and then promptly gets kicked out of the game

Jewelea: Jewelea is one of those people *fake cough* @accidental-spice *fake cough* who plays for fun, not to win. Therefore, she's not allowed to play with Jade and the others. She brings snacks, and she and Nicholas sit together and pretend like they're not laughing at Jade and Frank for being so ridiculously into this (and each other hahahahahaha what?)

Nicholas: Nicholas will play with Samuel and/or Jewelea for fun, after Jade and Frank finish their first of many grudge matches of the night. He's pretty chill, but can get competitive if Samuel pushes him enough. But not the loud, trash talking kind (often). Usually, he gets quiet and confident, like he knows he's gonna win. And then he does.

Samuel: Samuel is also not allowed to play with Jade and the others, mainly because he likes to drive his cart straight into theirs and launch them off the side of whatever course they're on. This is why Rainbow Road is his favorite. He's also weirdly good at it, and has the record as the only person to ever complete Rainbow Road without dying (and if y'all have seen Rainbow Road, y'all know that's quite the achievement)

So, what are your OCs favorite Christmas songs?

Good question, vod! Okay, here we go--

Jade's favorite songs are the Villain Pub "Twelve Days Of Christmas" and "White Winter Hymnal" cover by Pentatonix. Scarlet likes "Linus and Lucy"-- "A Charlie Brown Christmas" is her second favorite Christmas movie

Frank is a fan of "The First Noel" by Phil Wickham, and he actually likes "White Winter Hymnal", too. Christmas music is one of very few things he and Jade don't argue about (they're in agreement about every song except what the best cover of "Twelve Days of Christmas" is. She says the Villain Pub one, he says the Straight No Chaser one is a masterpiece. Neither of them are actually wrong.)

Nicholas loves "Old City Bar" by Trans Siberian Orchestra, and pretty much any of the MANY instrumental Christmas songs, but he also likes songs like "O Holy Night" and "O Come Emmanuel". Samuel, on the other hand, has more eclectic taste. His top two favorite songs are "One Night In Bethlehem," a song by ApologetiX, and "Light Of Christmas" by TobyMac and Owl City. But he also loves "His Favorite Christmas Story", which he has in common with Jewelea. Her favorites are basically For King And Country's entire Christmas album, and also "Winter Snow" by Audrey Assad and Chris Tomlin

So, what would your OCS dress up as for Halloween??

Nicholas: Turin Turambar. He'd be a Tolkien nerd if he lived in our world, and he secretly has a pretty dark sense of humor. So Turin would appeal to him. Plus, sword

Jewelea: Darth Revan. I don't know why, it just feels so right

Jade: Zoya Nazyalensky. They're both TERRIFYING and could kill a man. But Jade's more chaotic

Samuel: Howl Pendragon. Howl's flashy outfits appeal to him, and he definitely has pierced ears

Scarlet: As her name hints, she has bright red hair. Therefore, she would be Anne Shirley

Frank: Frank would probably be too busy to come up with a costume, but Jade and Scarlet would come up with something for him and spring it on him at the last minute. Which would mean he would end up going as Raylan Givens. Because the idea of Frank in a cowboy hat? Is really amusing

(this is my best intro yet)

Disclaimer: keep in mind that everything I know about public schools I gleaned from my dad (a teacher) and books.

I think Frank would like the fact it's more structured, and would probably be the favorite of every teacher. He kinda seems like a math guy, ngl. Meanwhile, Scarlet's favorite subject is recess. And/or lunch because she loves people

Nicholas would sit in the back of every class and have headphones in, but somehow learn more than Samuel, who is the class clown/charmer who gets detention for talking too much. They're a weird pair, but they're besties, your honor. Nicholas likes to make Samuel laugh with really quiet snarky comments, then pretend like he didn't say anything

Jewelea would do well in class, particularly art and music. Not a lot of friends, but Nicholas and Samuel would adopt her into their friend group

And Jade would start a gang, try to fight a teacher, and then get expelled

How about your characters?

For the oc asks, how bout Scarlet and Jade?

Chaos incarnate.

Jade will be like "hey let's do *insert illegal thing there*" and Scarlet will be all "ooh sure! As long as we can stop for Starbucks on the way" and Jade will be like "YES FINALLY THE ENABLER I'VE BEEN LOOKING FOR MY WHOLE LIFE"

When they're not creating chaos together, Scarlet drives Jade bonkers because they are complete opposites and Scarlet ships Frank and Jade hard core. (they really need a ship name. Frade? D'evade?)

Overall, all of their interactions would be very bad for Frank's blood pressure

how do your OCs react to being injured? like, big OR small injuries, do they grin and bear it or break down or try to hide it... and how do they respond to *each other* being injured? who's the most protective when someone else is injured?

No worries!! Sorry it's taken me a while to answer this-- it's a REALLY good question, and I want to do it justice.

Scarlet: Scarlet is more likely to actually break down. She'd want to be strong enough to push through it, but wouldn't get very far before it became obvious something was wrong or she collapsed

Jewelea: She wouldn't want to worry or inconvenience anyone, so she'd probably keep quiet about it for as long as possible, usually until something goes really badly. Hence, why Nicholas has appointed himself in charge of checking with her after any kind of altercation or fight. This has actually saved her life a number of times

Samuel: Samuel is a huge drama queen and I love him for that and his ability to be emotionally open about his injuries. The smaller the injury, the more dramatic he is. He operates on this scale-- if it's a paper cut, he's about to die and so is everyone else. If he's been impaled, he'd probably just be like "rude" and pass out

Nicholas: Nicholas is probably the one who gets hurt the least, so when he does, it's a Thing thanks to him having the most dramatic best friend in the world.

Samuel, tearing up: It's too soon to say good bye, we still have so many adventures together

Nicholas: It's literally just a cut

(but when he does get hurt he probably takes care of it quickly and quietly so he can continue being unproblematic in the background before Samuel sees it)

Jade: Jade is the least emotionally cooperative person in the entire galaxy. It takes a literal crowbar to pry feelings out of her, and sometimes that doesn't even work. Therefore, she would rather die than admit she's hurt, and it has definitely gotten to that state sometimes. The only one allowed to help her when she's hurt are Frank and Jewelea, and Frank's only allowed to do that because he's secretly a dad and will not allow anything else. Plus, their bickering distracts her very well

Frank: Frank isn't allowed to get hurt. One time he was knocked unconscious for a day and a half, and when he woke up Scarlet had cut her hair really short, Jade had run away, Samuel had set up an illegal gambling ring, Nicholas had fought seven criminals and Jewelea had THE WORST migraine. But when he does get hurt, he handles it like an adult who will admit when he's hurt so that he can get help quickly unlike his angsty and dramatic friends. Moooooooost of the time

Jade: "MY TIME HAS COME" *starts pulling out knives*

Frank: NO-

I feel like Jade would be totally on board. Nicholas would be conditionally on board, cause he's not super into murdering people. Samuel, Jewelea and Scarlet would be cautiously intrigued, and Frank would be sitting in the background with Matthias like "why is this happening to me?"

Full disclosure Scarlet would love the crew, especially Nina, and Samuel and Jesper would high key vibe

hazel!!! hi! i'm back with random questions hehehehhehe. alright. if your OCs were roommates, what would downfall from there? (in a small space preferably)

There would be a LOT of chaos. Jade would pretend to hate living with so many other people, but she would secretly enjoy having her people around her

Samuel and Scarlet would absolutely THRIVE since they're both extroverts who adore their friends. Jewelea and Nicholas would be in charge of cooking, and Jewelea would set up a schedule for everyone to take turns doing chores

Frank would honestly not be nearly as stressed as you would assume. At first he'd freak out a little, but I think he'd enjoy being around his people so much. Even if Samuel has no idea how to run the dishwasher and accidentally flooded the kitchen with soap

(Oh and there would be romantic tension with one ship, and then literally the most domestic vibes possible with the other that I barely ever talk about)

Wow. Okay, let's see. I feel like the person who would be most likely to just start playing on the equipment is Samuel and... is it weird that I wanna say Jade? I feel like she'd be like "I'mma climb all this weird stuff peace out" and maybe get in trouble for climbing something she shouldn't. Or pushing a kid off a swing LOOK I WOULDN'T RULE IT OUT OKAY???

Scarlet would really like those mini rock climbing walls, and Jewelea would vibe with the jungle gym. When she wasn't doing that, she and Nicholas would be swinging. They would be basically inseparable from the swings

Finally, Frank would be sitting on the bench watching them like a semi-stressed mom. But I feel like he'd get in on some swinging, or possibly Jade would make him climb something to get her down when it was time to go. He'd be all "Jade it's time to go!" And she'd be like "No!" And he'd say "We're gonna be late! Don't make me come up there!" and her response would be something like "Get kriffed!" and so he'd heave a huge sigh of annoyance and climb up to get her down grumbling under his breath but just as he got to the top she'd jump down to the bottom. And Frank would just. Question all his life decisions about why he likes her

Depends on what they're fighting with

Swords? Frank would win because he's actually skilled in swords, unlike Scarlet

Bow and arrow? Scarlet would win because she practices her marksmanship more than Frank

Words? It's honestly a toss up. Frank does a really good "I'm not mad I'm just disappointed" styles dad speech, but Scarlet can and will tear a man to pieces verbally

I just feel like any fight with those two will end with Nicholas and Jewelea distracting them with cookies or something, or Jade joining in. If the latter happens, Frank will probably die. Literally

They get along like a house on fire, and it might actually scare Frank a little. They bond over criticing people's fashion and driving Frank bonkers and also shipping him with Jade. Samuel's quite a few years older than her, but they're just high key besties and I love it

Okay, so Frank is helping to teach Jade to become a warrior on the island of [REDACTED] and she has a problem with this because authority. They get along pretty well when Jade isn't questioning his orders or trying to stab him. Which is often

However, they have a great deal of grudging mutual respect, trust, and if anyone hurt one of them, they'd have to deal with the other. And it would not be done with mercy. They work together really, really well when Jade isn't bothering Frank or breaking laws or contemplating murder.

Think terrifying power couple meets enemies to lovers meets the murderous one is soft for the constantly stressed one

Is there romance in their future? Scarlet, Samuel and LITERALLY EVERYONE really hope so
