SBI Clerk 2024 Recruitment Notification Preference for Sports Achievement Order of preference of sports achievement for preparation of provisional merit list Tie-Breaker CriteriaDetailsTie-Breaking Process→ In the case of candidates with the same cut-off marks in the final merit list, they will be ranked based on the following preferences. → If there's a tie, preference may be given to the younger candidate.→ First Preference Candidates who have represented the country in an International Competition with clearance from the Department of Youth Affairs & Sports.→ Second PreferenceCandidates who have represented a State/U.T. in Senior or Junior Level National Championships or National Games and have won medals or positions up to 3rd place. → Preference is given to Senior National Championships.→ Third Preference Candidates who have represented a University in Inter-University Competitions and have won medals or positions up to 3rd place.→ Fourth PreferenceCandidates who have represented State Schools in National Sports/Games for schools and have won medals or positions up to 3rd place.→ Fifth PreferenceCandidates awarded the National Award in Physical Efficiency under the National Physical Efficiency Drive.→ Sixth PreferenceCandidates who have represented a State/Union Territory/University/State School team as per categories (ii) to (iv) but did not win a medal or position.Note 1In the event of a tie, candidates with a higher position or more medals may be given preference.Note 2Participation in individual and team events/items will be given the same preference.Note 3No extra preference for winning multiple medals/positions, except in case of a tie.Note 4The Bank's decisions on eligibility, assessment tests, and selection are final and binding.
