last post got me thinking about what makes me get super into seemingly totally unrelated shows. It's not just the found family trope, it's the found family of people who have absolutely nothing in common other than they love each other. You wouldn't expect a dirty tomboy farm girl to be best friends with a bougie neat-freak fahsion designer. Or a delicate anxious hermit to hang out with a loud hothead jock. How bout an angry redneck riased in a racist household who would learn sign-language to chat with a deafmute black woman? Or a priest and a gay man who would kill themselves over ever harming the other? This is why I will never ever fucking understand people who complain about "forced diversity". Look at all these wonderfully different and unique people who learn to love and embrace each other. And it's their differences that make them grow and change for the better. Humanity. bitch I'll cry.
