#sasuke Uchiha Drabble

Can I request a drabble for post-war Sasuke traveling around with s/o? They're not official yet but it's clear that there's something more between them than just platonic feelings. Congrats btw!!

The trees of the forest swayed gently in the breeze as the sun rose, spilling amber light over the land and clouds. The two had just finished up a long mission and found the weather calming.

"Finally, that stupid mission's over!" y/n sighed in relief. "I have to admit it took a lot out of me."

"Maybe it would be easier if you didn't rush it." Sasuke chided. "I had to save you three times." he finished, a concealed smile present on his face. He found their impatience both amusing and a bit nostalgic. They never failed to bring him back to the good old days, before he left Konoha and became a dangerous criminal. Y/n made him temporarily forget all the horrible things he's done. The things he is on this journey to atone for. Perhaps that's why he brought y/n along in the first place? He wasn't sure, he only knew that he was glad he did. He truly didn't deserve them.

"Yeah, whatever. I could've taken care of it myself, Uchiha!" y/n shot back in a playful tone. Sasuke responded with a chuckle. They always spoke like this. It was a bit quiet after that, but not awkward at all and it gave the boy some time to think.

"I want to show you something." Sasuke broke the silence, blushing a bit though it remained unnoticed. "Follow me."

Y/n also blushed due to his/her thoughts, before nodding and following suit behind the ravenette. It didn't take long until they came into a clearing in the woods. The golden light coming from the sun bounced off the clear, shallow water of the pond and flowers of every color were littered all around it. Sasuke knew they loved nature.

"I came across it during our last mission." he explained. He already knew the answer due to the way y/n's eyes lit up, but he still asked, "Like it?"

"It's beautiful." y/n answered cheerfully. "Thank you for showing me this, Sasuke!"

Sasuke felt very proud he was able to make the love of his life this happy.
