The 1954 Armstrong Siddeley Sapphire!

My father bought this car as a present for himself, and adores it. She turns heads every time we take her out. Even in the garage she attracted attention! The mechanics loved her and can't wait to have her back in for her original paint colours restored.

Whilst my youngest brother helps my dad compile a display of her documents ready for the vintage rally, I'll be focusing on cleaning the woodwork and leather of the interior. I'll be posting more photos when this is done.

how the emotional spectrum is written makes a lot more sense when its viewed not as "this character is an embodiment of this emotion" but rather as "this character exerts this emotion onto others". the green lantern corps use willpower to force people/the world/the self into obeying the law. the sinestro corps use fear, the star saphhires use love, etc and etc.

It's more about the effect I guess? To me red always signals something...traffic lights for example and also I have so many headlamps. They all have a red light in the back to signal someone behind me that I'm here.

It is a signal of some sort...idk...(don't make me google sh*t)

I like this because light is not dark. When you shine a light on something then it dissolves. I wonder what he means with “my culture”. The humans? Brits? Dark light on my culture....hmm....I have a feeling for it but can't really explain it.

My brother keeps annoying me with cars and all sorts of computer related things. And saphhire has something to do with computers XD. That I remember what they actually do.

I get that it's a gemstone. I have nothing connected with it.

It's when I go on my strange rants about those who want to impose thought control over certain topics in this fandom. It's anger that's not based in ego but in truth.

Makes me think about my useless anger that I often still have. Ego driven, hurt child, not processed anger that I just want to project outside of me: meaning that I just want to hurt me or someone else or lash out or something like that.

When you do all that then you give your power away.

When I “sit” with that anger, feel into it and alchemize it then it transforms into something. There is great power in that. The opposite of this useless anger is the power to create something totally new, set a necessary boundary...

Rain loved jewellery. He loved to adorn his perfect body with glittering stones, dangling precious gems from his ears or slipping beautiful rings around his strong fingers. he even had a bellybutton piercing from which a small droplet of saphhire danced with every move he made. Rain knew the effects it had on the other ghouls and so he took every opportunity to flaunt it. He'd wear crop tops around the ghoul wing that perfectly showed off the jewel resting on his happy trail, daring anyone to even try to look away.

his favourite type of jewellery, however, were necklaces. the pretty chains that looped around his throat and hung just at the top of his barely-there cleavage. The little potted tree in his room, something Mountain gifted to him on his summoning day, had a necklace hanging from every branch. shiny gems and stunning metalwork that caught the evening light, sending colorful rays to waltz across his room as they swayed in the breeze. he loved them all so much. he loved how they glittered, how pretty they made him look. but he did have favourites. the locket containing a picture of all the other ghouls, for example, or the aquamarine pendant he had found under his pillow one night, or...

"You just love it when i choke you. Love to see my hands around that delicate little throat of yours." Dew growled into his ear as he wrapped his dainty little hand around Rain's neck and squeezed.

That one was his favourite. the prettiest one he owned.
