Grandma's back at it with the Cozy Celebrations/Christmas event! ☃️

Would you believe one of the quests for the third week of the event asks you to cook (I thought it was meant to be 'bake'...) chocolate chip cookies!? Of course, it was only fitting that Grandma would make the one classic treat her grand-kids go crazy for.

...Except she doesn't actually have grand-kids. Those would just be the multitude of stray cats that occasionally visits her.

Grandma also had to prepare a traditional Coquito from a bar. She's certainly not one to drink, but hey, you gotta do what you gotta do to complete the event. 🤷🏻‍♀️

Although there were a few times where she did have a want bubble pop up saying she wanted to drink at a bar when she went out...

Another quest required Grandma to 'have two or more sims watch TV together'. Now, I admit, this one stumped me at first because I thought I'd be able to complete it by having Grandma invite her dear old frenemy Agnes Crumplebottom over so they could spend a little TV time together, but it only counted as ONE sim watching instead of TWO like the quest asked for.

I feel like this just sums up their relationship as a whole, lmao. Grandma's all smiles and just wants to make friends, while Agnes is constantly debating whether to murder her or not. They may be both old ladies, but they're total polar opposites.

I should mention that Agnes actually kicked Grandma's trash can over when she first came by, but after they sat down and unsuccessfully tried to complete the event quest, Agnes actually got up and took the liberty of throwing away the trash in the kitchen AND picking up the can she knocked over. How nice!!

After Grandma sent Agnes home, she figured she could meet up with Ian Moody and Derek McMillan at their home so she could enlist their help with finishing this particular part of the event (and perhaps continue to reassure them that she isn't out to evict them like she inadvertently did in my old save file that probably ended up kick-starting the endless chain of bad luck that has befallen her)!

When Grandma dropped by, Ian was actually grilling some Pollo a la Brasa and they all sat down to have a quick sort of dinner meal!

Afterward, I ended up switching control to the Moody and McMillian household so I could properly get two sims to watch TV at the same time (yep - turns out I needed two sims IN THE SAME HOUSEHOLD to actually complete the quest).

While I was at it, I also had Ian and Derek talk about holiday songs as well as with Grandma for part of the next set of quests. Then I sent Grandma home to finish the remainder of the quests: listening to winter holiday music, researching holiday traditions on a computer, and documenting the research.

Rinse and repeat...

While taking a break between event quests, Grandma managed to adopt two of the numerous stray cats who like to frequent her home! Their names are Honey Biscuits (the white/grey Himalayan) and Honey Mustard (the orange/tan-colored Ocicat) - they were both originally named "Honey" at first so I tacked on the second names to differentiate them.

That joy was short lived, though, because to add on to the endless string of bad luck that seems to plague Grandma, a fire broke out in her living room. I figured it more than likely happened because there was a rug in front of the fireplace, but before I could have Grandma even attempt to extinguish it, the rug turned to ashes and the nearby couch and coffee table got burned. Grandma took off running, but luckily none of the cats seemed to care even if they became uncomfortable.

Honey Biscuits, in particular, DEFINITELY didn't seemed to mind (legit the "this is fine" meme)... until she caught on fire herself and the firefighter had to stop standing and staring at her and extinguish her. But at least she didn't die??

Grandma ended up getting an insurance payment so she could get everything replaced.

In hindsight, though, maybe Grandma should've listened to the kitties, because one of the other strays, Axel (she didn't adopt him yet), actually went up to the fireplace before everything got burned and looked scared of it. He knew something...

Oh, right, we're supposed to be finishing up the Christmas quests, weren't we?

I promised I would call bestie out on Tumblr so here it is. ALSO HEY LOOK CATS!!!

This is my sim Nathaniel Beaumont and his precious diva of a Siamese cat, Chouette. 🐾

She's NOT a mf Tonkinese, I still don't know where you got that from. @monasmessysims. But I mean, I guess they look pretty similar...

I always imagined Nathaniel to be a reserved, cat-like person at heart. He doesn't think of himself as very outgoing and doesn't like unwanted attention, but he's super close and sweet with his family (and more open with a few select friends/colleagues).

I imagine his parents had a cat he was fond of as a kid and with whom he would hang out all the time as he was an only child. Of course, he was devastated when said cat died, and when he was old enough, he had to get himself one of his own.

Chouette ("owl"/"cute" in French) is very much bonded to Nathaniel and doesn't care much for anyone else, but she does tolerate his family. Like many Siamese cats, she LOVES to make herself known with her loud meows. I also imagined Nathaniel would get a special, jingly, bejeweled collar just for her (remind me to find some CC). She's playful and loves seeking out people for treats but most of the time, she wants her own space. Nathaniel often finds himself discovering her in the strangest and funniest places.

Nathaniel's wife Lucrezia adores Chouette as if she were one of her own children, and often surreptitiously sneaks her a bunch of treats much to her husband's chagrin. Of course, Nathaniel wouldn't dare to say anything about it as he knows his wife will just get mad and guilt-trip him over denying one of her precious babies something delicious, lmao.

Lucrezia happens to have her own feline buddy, a Maine Coon kitten named Pesto! He's an adorable little glutton who likes to follow Chouette around as if she were his big sister (which technically, she is). She acts like she's annoyed by him, but she does love him all the same. Pesto also happens to be a birthday gift from Nathaniel to his wife since he knows just how much she loves to spoil his baby Chouette.

Nathaniel and Lucrezia's three (human) kids love Chouette as well. Pesto, too, of course, but this is mostly a Chouette-centric post. sorry lil buddy

The von Beilschmidt home

So I downloaded a whole lot of CC from HeyHarrie, watched some sims 4 build videos on youtube and got inspired to make another version of Gil’s 19th century home! The exterior was inspired by a bunch of old mansions on google and the floor plan is inspired by the Ward Den mansion from Del Sol Valley (because while I loathe how it looks on the outside, the interior floor plan kinda slaps), so you’ll see that I have the same staircase layout and the ballroom in the middle.

I may put the shell up on the gallery or re-furnish it to use base game only items so y’all can download and explore it on your own, because right now I’m using a couple of packs plus CC items.

Anyway, I loved how it turned out so let me take you on a tour!

So here’s the exterior of the manor! I imagined this estate was a gift from King Frederick I to his new kingdom in 1701. Gilbert, however, didn’t fancy living on his own in such a big home so for most of the 18th century, he lived in a smaller town home in Berlin and then later living in Sanssouci with Frederick II. As such, the house mostly sat empty, except for the few times when soldiers were temporarily billeted there.

That changed in the 19th century when Ludwig came into his care and he thought it would be nice to raise the boy in a bigger space with more grounds for him to run and play in. The manor was renovated and they moved in with Gilbert’s existing household staff while the town home was converted into a clinic. Interior pics under the cut!

Floor plan

1st floor:

First floor has the entrance foyer with the double grand staircase that leads up to the second floor. Through an archway in the middle, there’s the ballroom, which has a door that leads out to the back courtyard. To the left, there’s the formal sitting room and to the right there’s the dining room. Off the dining room is the kitchen. Originally I wanted it to be just sort of a prep/serving area and have a staircase leading downstairs to the actual kitchen but the sims won’t let staircases be put under foundations so I had to make do! Each hallway has a downstairs bathroom for guests to use.

Second floor has all the bedrooms. To the left, you’ll find Gilbert’s study and to the right, there’s the guest bedroom. There’s also Gil’s bedroom and Ludwig’s bedroom, separated by the main bathroom in the middle.

Outside, we have the back courtyard and a hedge maze to the right. There’s also an outdoor lounge / dining area under a pergola and a small play area for Ludwig.

So there’s the pergola with the dining table underneath. Ludwig’s little play area has a swing hanging from the tree (built by his dad) and a little tent. The monkey bars are there just because it was cute. I also imagined there would be a stable nearby where they kept all the horses and the carriage.

View of the staircase and the second floor landing. Ideally there would be more paintings hung up on the walls here, mostly family portraits and the occasional portrait of Fritz. Door on the far left goes to the study, door on far right goes into the guest bedroom, usually used by Johanna whenever she makes the trip to visit her brother and her nephew. Middle door leads to the main bath, to the left goes into the master bedroom, and to the right goes into Ludwig’s room.

Main Bedroom. Very sparsely decorated, just the way Gil likes it.

Ludwig’s room. Yes, that is a canopy. Why? Because it was cute. He’s got a little desk here too, a bookcase, and a little castle play set. He’s also got his set of tin soldiers lying around somewhere, modelled after the Prussian Army under Frederick the Great. General von Seydlitz always goes missing from the set for one reason or another and they find him in the weirdest places.

Nowadays, his room has a full-sized bed and desk, though the castle playset is still on display on a shelf somewhere.

Gilbert’s study and you may recognize the double windows from the asks when I draw Gil sitting at his desk! There is a door leading out to the terrace and bookcases along the walls which are full of everything from Prussian Law books, medical textbooks, and his giant collection of personal journals and patient case files.

And finally, here’s the guest bedroom, which also has a door out to the terrace!

The FABULOUS Siblings! ✨

Yet again, I have given a bit of makeover to one of my townies and created my own sim to go along with them. This time, it's Izzy Fabulous and my OC: his sister, Mo Fabulous!

...like 'more fabulous', get the pun?

I was inspired to create Mo from this news thing posted by EA themselves! I guess Izzy originated from The Sims Mobile (which I've actually tried a while ago - I didn't like it lmao), which is why it's mentioned in that post. Anyway, it's written from his POV, and he mentions having a sister named "Mo". I thought it would be pretty interesting to put a face to this character, since as far as I know, no one else has done it already. So here she is!!

Izzy's letter implies Mo lives (or in my headcanon, formerly lived) in the Fashion District in San Myshuno, and I imagine this is where she lived for some time before reuniting and moving in with her brother.

They both currently live in Del Sol Valley, by the way! Their place is actually a tad bit empty (at least that's how I think it looks), but I imagine with their creative personalities, they'll be able to spruce up every room and totally make this place their own. I've actually already redone a few rooms around their home, including adding a little 'work room' of sorts where they'd be able to show off things they've designed and bounce inspiration off one another!

Mo actually used her brother's computer to write her lifestyle reviews for her job (she's a Simfluencer) - her computer is supposed to be the one with the white chair and the cute cat succulent thing. Of course, Izzy had to show off his mock-disappointment.

As for my headcanons for these two, I see Mo as older than Izzy. He seems to really look up to her (if his letter indicates anything) and actively take her advice. She also seems quite savvy in the world of fashion design and selling what she creates, hence how she ran her own hair salon before Izzy opened his own store.

"Mo" is short for "Morgaine", by the way. It's a French name, since of course, its capital happens to be one of the 'fashion capitals' of the world. She definitely went to college in Paris and majored in some sort of fashion design.

Speaking of Mo running a hair salon, she was obviously the one who dyed her brother's hair - it's confirmed in his letter! She might appear to be a prim and somewhat haughty person outwardly, but she's really supportive of her brother. She's probably the kind of person who absolutely wouldn't have minded when he used to get into her clothes and play dolls with her when they were kids. And of course, she never hesitated to stand up for him whenever he felt self-conscious about his prematurely graying hair (check his wiki page, it's canon!). Pink/lavender is one of her favorite colors, so it was no surprise that Izzy also wanted his hair dyed like hers. I don't know if his hair color (before it went gray) was originally brown like hers, but I thought it worked best with her pink highlights.

Izzy is definitely more eccentric than his sister; he just EXUDES the same vibe as that little brother who tags along with his big sister and wants to copy her. Mo is of course more level-headed and even sometimes wonders what in the fresh heck her brother is doing with his outfit choices and other decisions. Though she figures that as long as he isn't hurting himself or anyone else, let him be him. It makes him happy, and that's all that matters.

Mo: "You're going out in that? We're going to a showcase in a museum, not a disco!"

As mentioned previously, Mo worked for some time as a hairstylist. However, there's no such career in the game unless one mods it, so I might look around for one to put in my game. For now, however, she's a Simfluencer.

I imagine Mo had to close up shop so she could properly relocate with her brother, but she still enjoys helping others feel and look their best. Thus, she does a lot of odd jobs that allows her to interact with other people. I've also started getting her to design, buy, and sell outfits on Trendi!

Yeah, one of the outfits she bought used the freaking eyeball ring unironically. She promptly relisted it for sale.

Oh yeah, and here's a prime reason the Fabulous siblings are the kind of people who prefer to create trends rather than follow them. Mo sees that the Rocker style is trending, so she creates an outfit that uses Rocker style pieces. She tries to promote it, only for it to flop. Are we implying the hype went down because Mo isn't 'conventionally attractive' or some shit? HOW DARE YOU.

On another note: as I was looking up career tracks, I noticed a Fashion Photographer freelancer career that I thought sounded interesting (imagine Mo photographing customers wearing her brother's designs!), though it comes with the Moschino Stuff Pack... which I don't have. I don't know, I guess I'm still on the fence about getting this pack just to have a new career track. Maybe I'll make a more definite decision in the long run.

Izzy, on the other hand, is still doing his canon thing as a Style Influencer. I've been making him work from home a lot, and he does a lot of checking in at different venues as of late. And of course, he often asks Mo to tag along with him so they can both hone their networking skills.

No, I don't know why Dennis Kim (I think that's him in the back?) is giving us that weird look.

Oh yeah, remember way back when I mentioned that Izzy runs his own fashion store? Well, unlike the - frankly - cash-grabby store his Sims Mobile counterpart owns, Izzy bought a little place he plans to call "Chez Fabulous" (look, I'm not very creative with names of places...)!

And of course, he recruited Mo to help run the place alongside him.

They just so happened to open their store in Mo's old stomping grounds, San Myshuno! I did try to find somewhere in Del Sol Valley at first, but I couldn't really find a good store off the gallery that fit in any of the lots...

Apart from Lilith Vatore doing whatever the heck she was doing with her vampire powers and opening the store a bit too late in the evening (they were open for six hours and ended up closing at like 1 AM), Chez Fabulous was generally successful and had a sale! (Thanks, townie with the 'broke' last name who ironically owns the most expensive lot in Del Sol Valley!!!)

I will definitely post more with these two, so maybe like and follow for more? ^_^

A little lookbook thing featuring my resident goth couple! My OC Sanguinaria "Gwen" Addams - featured in my Reaper's Rewards event series - and Cassandra Goth. 🖤

I know we all love a good townie makeover, so here's how I styled Cassandra. Overall, I wanted her to have a combination of how she looked in previous Sims game as well as a dark academia style to contrast with my own sim's modern, mall goth/e-girl aesthetic.

Hey hey! It's about time I posted content from my own game, don't you think?? Well here ya go - a break from all the CC finds I keep spamming.

So the "Reaper's Rewards" event is a thing going on now. I saw quite a bit of people in several Sims 4 subreddits showing off their goth/emo/vampire/that kind of dark aesthetic sims they're using to participate in the event (with a few of them also romancing and having kids with the Grim Reaper as a result), so I thought I'd contribute my own character!

Sanguinaria Addams ("Gwen" for short) is going to be the Grim Reaper's little assistant in this event! I've actually shown her before in a previous post where she happens to be the girlfriend of Cassandra Goth. She's actually my Addams Family fan character, though she's kind of a general, all-purpose character as well. She's a mall goth who loves to mix her love of 'girly' things like fashion, hair styling, and makeup with her interest in all things dark and macabre.

She's also quite the enthusiast in seeking out supernatural creatures, including the Grim Reaper himself!

I took a pretty long break from the game, so Gwen had quite a bit of catching up to do with a bunch of weekly tasks that have already been released. ^^;

First, Gwen got some mail from the Ambrosia Society Newsletter, which basically told her to start planting snapdragons so she could harvest and cook with them to make ambrosia. She planted a snapdragon as well as a lily, and did a bit of research on them. She learned a lot!

After that, Gwen figured she needed a break from research for bit, so she decided to head to the Willow Creek Archive Library to just chill and read just for fun. While there, she ran into her girlfriend's little brother, Alexander! Poor kid was all alone, lmao. He seemed to be having fun playing on the computers, though!

yall remember playing games on the library computers when you were kids?? i know i did irl ahahahah

Gwen and Alexander got along well (they had good compatibility!), so she figured he might be interested in what she'd been researching........ though she tried not to mention anything scary or related to death/the Grim Reaper.

Gwen: "Fishing, huh? That's cool. Seems like you know quite a bit about the stuff meant to make you live forever."

I just thought it was pretty cute how Alexander was so happy to talk with Gwen. Such a pure boy, protect him at all costs. (and hope he doesn't go bald when he ages up into a teen)

After a bit, Mei Prescott (the principal of Copperdale High School) showed up and Gwen figured she might as well talk to her too. I imagine she and Cassandra went to Copperdale as students and only really saw 'Mrs. Prescott' one or two times for minor misdemeanors (mostly not following the dress code), but were otherwise good in their classes and graduated with decent grades.

Unfortunately, good old Mrs. Prescott didn't seem too thrilled to engage in such a 'trivial' conversation with her former pupil. She told Gwen what she already learned from Alexander, after all.

Then again, it could have been worse: if Gwen hadn't changed into a more 'proper' outfit, maybe Mei would have yelled at her even more for dressing inappropriately and 'not learning' from the times she spent in her office.

...Or maybe it's already kind of bad, considering Gwen thinks good old Mrs. Prescott is old and used up, LMFAOOOOO

also thanks game for reminding me to turn off the attraction system, it always bugged me when my otps/favorite couples didn't find each other attractive

Finally, after cooking a recipe (you actually have to be level 3 or higher and I just maxed out Gwen's cooking level with cheats so it was more convenient lol) and replacing her old record player with the "Grimophone", Gwen got to summon and meet the Grim Reaper himself........ without having to sacrifice another sim!!

I think I actually took the above screenshot because Gwen was sharing melancholy thoughts with Grimmy (she has the "gloomy" trait) and I just thought it was funny how he looked super shocked about it. Go figure, the harbinger of death and despair itself acts all surprised Pikachu at a goth girl (probably) talking about death.

or maybe she just divulged her self-insert fanfiction she'd been writing with him in it.

Did I mention Grimmy showed up in a flirty mood??? 😂

I'm going to be posting more about Gwen's adventurers as the Reaper's little assistant, so stay tuned!! Maybe I'll file these under their own tag, lol.

Those of you who have been to my main blog in the past year or so might recognize these familiar faces. The little girl is Karin Fjellvik, a character from the game “My Child Lebensborn” (I call it “MCL” for short), and the woman is Karita Omdahl, my MCL fan character/self-insert and Karin’s adoptive mother. I’ve made a few posts about them both on my main blog as well as my sideblog which specifically focuses on my OC x canon relationships, so take a gander if you’d like to read more about them! 

I’ll probably mention a bit of the game as I talk about them in this post, so minor spoilers ahead!! Also, fair warning if you do decide to check out the actual game for yourself: it’s based on real historical events (specifically having to do with the end of World War 2) and involves prejudice/racism and violence towards a child (among other things). Needless to say, it’s quite emotional, and let’s just say that by the end of my play-through, I wanted to punt quite a few people into the shadow realm because of what they did to my poor daughter. 😭

While MCL was originally set during the aftermath of World War 2, I imagine my sims counterparts live in the modern day. Funnily enough, the developers of MCL are currently working on a sequel which will take place in a more modern setting! I would think the sims versions of Karin and Karita moved to this new place in Willow Creek after they’d gone through similar events that happened in the original game. All they wanted to do was to just... get away from their old town, from Karin’s old school, from everything their cruel neighbors had done to them.

Karin and Karita would start their new lives in this modest but pretty one-story home with a small outdoor area for the two to sit and for Karin to play. In the game, you happen to make contact with Karin (or her male counterpart Klaus)’s biological father, who wires you money to help you move out of town. I imagine Karita used much of that money to pay off this new house. They started with only $200 in simoleons, which was a nod to how you would start off with 200 coins (? - dollars? Or whatever they used in Norway during that time? I don’t think the game actually specified what that actual currency was lmao) in the original game.

As money is tight in their household, Karita knows they’ll need it only for the most important items, and she’s made sure Karin knows that. There are times where Karin wishes she had the newest toys or clothes like the other kids have, and she’ll get upset when she can’t have them. Karita promises she’ll buy them one day for her, just not today. After all, it’s better to be selfless than selfish. Karin recently received a whole mini art studio set for her birthday, and she LOVES it! She plans to create lots of artwork to display in her room, and she even uses it occasionally in the middle of the night when she can’t sleep. She even says she hopes to help her mother earn money by selling her best artwork. 🥰

On certain days of the week, Karita works as a manual laborer as a way to bring in some stable income (I thought this was the closest to some kind of factory work, which is your/the parent’s job in MCL). The catch to this, though, is that she currently works during the weekend, which means Karin is left at home alone in the morning. :( Karita knows how much her daughter hates being by herself, so once she returns home from work, she makes sure they spend plenty of quality of time together. Their favorite activities include fishing (they can catch something to eat or Karin asks to keep one as a little pet), reading books, drawing pictures, cooking, and watching television.

See the little fish next to the television? Karin caught it and wanted to save it from being eaten!

Other than Karin’s idea to sell some of her artwork in the future, the two also already have creative ways to earn extra money on the side (or when they really need money fast). For one, Karita happens to enjoy gardening and has made a habit of exploring her neighborhood and harvesting wild plants to grow around their home. She may keep some to use as fresh ingredients/food, but most of the time, she’ll sell them when they’re fully grown.

Being experienced in manual labor, Karita isn’t afraid to get her hands dirty by digging for things as well. She’ll sell the majority of her finds along with things she catches through fishing.

Karin is also a keen explorer and likes to look for frogs. She’ll keep them as pets, too, but once she catches a new one, she knows she’ll have to sell the old one since multiple frogs is... kind of a lot to deal with in such a small home, lol.

This is her latest find, a spotted leaf frog!

So that’s basically how a typical day would go for Karin and Karita! Karin goes to school during the week, of course, and since Karita doesn’t work on weekdays, she’ll usually spend those days building her skills and doing the many things she’s already come up with to earn extra money.

Currently, Karita is hoping to save up for some renovations, including expanding the interior of their home so she will able to build a little writing studio! She wishes to write about her and Karin’s experiences and to send a message to the world to be kind to each other - something among those lines.

I like playing wholesome families like this, and I think the added challenge of reduced funds not only ties into the original game where the characters came from, but it also makes playing this household a lot more fun and interesting.

Oh, I forgot to mention, guess who came by their household while I was taking screenshots of them for this post?

Miss Karin and Karita? They're still here!

They now live in Henford-On-Bagley (they previously lived in Willow Creek) in the property that used to be 1 Cobblebottom Street. It's a small property, but it's good enough for the two of them.

(Yes, Karin loves to do her homework and just generally do any activity in the same room as her mother! Karita's actually writing here, and right now, she's working on publishing a few pieces to earn some extra money.)

They're still not "wealthy", but Karita had just enough money wired from Karin's biological father to pay off the property and even convert the attic into a nice little bedroom for Karin.

They also still love to help each other out whenever they can. Karita cooks more often, especially since she's able to grow fresh fruits, vegetables, and herbs in their garden and buy even more stuff in the weekly Finchwick Fair. She has even taken up baking, and hopes to one day run her own bakery!

Karin occasionally jumps in to help her mother cook, especially if she's baking some delicious cakes or other sweets!

For the most part, the Fjellvik-Omdahls' daily routines are the same as the ones they had in my save file where they lived in Willow Creek. I think this Henford-On-Bagley home is a tad bigger than their old home, though, which means there are a lot more things they can do for fun, including playing with their new swingset!

Karin also sometimes likes to play with and give things to the little foxes that drop by their home every now and then. She thinks they're very cute!!

Karin even made a new school friend!!

His name is Argus Scott, and he's actually the son of the townies Simon and Sara Scott!

They had fun playing on the swings and with Karin's dollhouse.

Don't get any dumb ideas now, Argus...

This is really cool! I have Indonesian heritage from my mom's side of the family and as much as I'm still on the fence about the "For Rent" pack, I do dig the aesthetic of the Tomarang world that comes with it. Can't wait to download this once it's released publicly!

Yup. I should mention that hairstyle he's wearing was actually custom content I downloaded specifically for one of my original characters!! Why do so many of my townies like to steal my custom content (especially alpha CC, no less)!?

I then decided to track him down in my "other households" tab and look at what he's got on in CAS.

Yeah, he's got an interesting fashion sense.

And this is what he looks like without that goofy mustache he had on originally. Slightly better, I guess??

Unfortunately, as I've started a new save file, Makoto has been wiped and I've been getting new randomly-generated sims as my pizza delivery people. :P RIP

My Sims Freeplay Photo Dump!

So I don’t know if y’all are aware, but I first got into The Sims as a franchise through one of its mobile installments, The Sims Freeplay (I’m aware there is also “The Sims Mobile”, but that one came out when I was frankly too old to be interested in it, so I’ve never played it). It’s money-grubby as hell (of course, being an EA game), but it didn’t stop me playing it on my family iPad from late 2014 at the earliest until about 2016 or 2017 when I took a break, then returned to the game around late 2017 at the earliest until about 2019 or 2020 when I figured out how to play it on an emulator (by then, I lost all my progress I built from my iPad save - RIP iOS Game Center), then returned again briefly in the summer of 2022 starting a new emulator save. I’ve stopped playing ever since the sims received a face update sometime in October 2022 - I don’t know, I’ve just never gotten used to the new faces (and by now, I’ve realized how much the game demands you drop loads of cash to actually succeed at many of its events)...

Regardless, I won’t deny how nostalgic this game is to me, so I thought I’d share some highlights (and funny moments)! Most of these were taken from my emulated game.
