HENRY SANDON (1928-Died Christmas Day,December 25th 2023,at 95). English antique expert, television personality, author and lecturer who specialised in ceramics and was a notable authority on Royal Worcester porcelain. I’ve never seen this ship, and their pelts are pretty much the same except Onewhisker is more of a brownish.

Anyways! They don’t really interact at all in the books unless it’s about the clans unlike Onestar and Firestar did when they were still warriors. So ima make up one?

Onewhisker got over his former mate Smoke. Pushing away the thought of her and another she-cat flashed in her mind. Sandstorm. Sandstorm saved him from falling over the gorge when Riverclan attacked the patrol that led Windclan home after Shadowclan and their bloodthirsty leader, Brokenstar, drove them out. He had seen her a few times by herself. Roaming the edges of the border on Thunderclans side.

That’s practically how I think it would start. Having Sandstorm save Onewhisker instead of Fireheart saving her.

They later started meeting more and more. Until Sandstorm cheated on Fireheart and was expecting Onewhisker’s kit by the time Squirrelpaw was on the journey. Sandstorm later joins Windclan to raise her kit with Onewhisker, later having Heathertail with him as-well when he’s Onestar(no one knows they had a forbidden ship. She explained to windclan that she was planning to join but her kits went missing so put it off. Then joined later where she knew she was expecting but no one else did. So just said she got pregnant while in Windclan. So Onewhisker still becomes leader. If that makes sense.)

Runefur - Runefur is a laid back, kind-of cocky she-cat who is probably one of the swiftest cats in Windclan. She gets along a lot with Hareleap(star) who’s around the same age as her and later become mates. She is a lightish brown-pale tabby with amber eyes. She has a little bit of a short tail as she got the tip of Is bitten off when a fox got her. She is a very good mother cat but hates being called weak and often gets into fights on the border with Thunderclan. She gets along with her half-sisters, Squirrelflight and Leafpool. And her younger sister, Heathertail. (Breezepelt doesn’t get with Heathertail. Their close in family so it’s weird. Even in canon.)

One year ago today we gathered at the breathtaking Sandon Hall to celebrate one of the most beautiful days of my life—My sister‘s wedding.

The grand estate nestled in the heart of the countryside was the perfect backdrop for an autumn wedding.

The air was Crisp with the magic of autumn as gold leaves twirled down like confetti from nature herself.

It was the perfect setting for a day filled of love and joy. Every detail seemed to echo the warmth and richness of the season from the vibrant florals to the soft glow of the prestigious venue historic charm

As made of honour, I had the privilege of not only standing by my sister side but also crafting the florals buttonholes corsages and styling the entire venue.

The flowers were a mix of dried pampers grass and soap blooms carefully chosen to evoke the earthy beauty of autumn soft neutral tones blended seamlessly with the Seasons warm glow creating a look that was both neutral and sophisticated.

As I look back with so many beautiful pictures to share and reminded of how magical that day was let’s take a moment to relive the memory surrounded by the beauty of autumn and the joy of that special day.

Sandon Global sees growth in India's packaging industry

Sandon Global, a UK-based manufacturer of anilox rolls, anilox sleeves, and cylinders, is optimistic about its prospects in the Indian market, driven by the growth of the Indian packaging industry.

Sharing insights with Packaging South Asia during drupa 24, Stuart Mitchell, technical director – OEM and Global Sales Support, said, “We have been in India for five years now and the company has built a strong presence in the country. We have built a significant amount of business in India based on quality and innovation. We brought new engraving ideas to the Indian customers. We see ourselves as a solution provider. We like to understand the challenges customers face and use our technical expertise to help them improve their prints and processes.”

In India, Sandon is represented by Tinku Sharma, sales manager for India, Africa, and the Middle East. “For the last five years, Tinku has worked directly in the Indian market, also covering the Southeast Asia region and overseeing several countries in Africa. With Tinku’s efforts and the partnerships we are building with CI manufacturers and local repro companies, we are only going to get stronger in the Indian market,” Mitchell added.

Sandon Global serves the international print industry across every continent. The company performs in-house ceramic coating blends and is engaged in several 'Knowledge Transfer Partnership' projects with Liverpool John Moores University and Manchester University. Additionally, Sandon runs apprenticeship schemes to bring new talent into the industry. Its core business areas include flexible packaging, narrow web, and corrugated packaging.

“We essentially offer a full solution to enable a smooth transition from gravure to flexo for our customers,” Mitchell said.

Flexo Printing's robust future in India

In India, most of Sandon’s customers are wide web CI flexo printers. The number of CI flexo presses being commissioned in India is increasing every year. Mitchell believes that flexo is the future for flexible packaging printing in India.

“Flexo is the way forward from a sustainability perspective compared to gravure. There are significant cost savings. We have seen customers move into extended color gamut (ECG) printing instead of traditional CMYK. Overall, it wouldn’t surprise me if we see 50, 60, maybe even 70 new CI flexo presses in the Indian market each year in the not-so-distant future,” he said.

Sandon Global will exhibit at the upcoming LabelExpo India later this year. “We’ll be back later this year in India at LabelExpo. The more time we spend in the market and the more people we meet, the better they understand our commitment to quality,” Mitchell concluded.

The Avalanches - Frontier Psychiatrist 2000

"Frontier Psychiatrist" is a song by Australian electronic music group the Avalanches, that was released on 21 August 2000 as the second single from the group's debut album Since I Left You. It is built around several elements sampled from other music; Avalanches members Robbie Chater and Darren Seltman sampled music from several vinyl records in the production and creation of Since I Left You. The prominent orchestral sample heard throughout the track is sourced from a recording by the Enoch Light Singers of the 1968 composition "My Way of Life". The track also contains several vocal samples of Canadian comedy duo Wayne and Shuster, the most prominent of these samples taken from the duo's comedy routine "Frontier Psychiatrist", as well as the John Waters movie Polyester.

Only the aforementioned samples are credited in the liner notes of Since I Left You; various other uncredited samples are used in the track, with sources ranging from Harvey Mandel's 1968 cover of the spiritual "Wade in the Water", and comedy routines by Flip Wilson, sketches from Sesame Street, and Maurice Jarre's main theme from Lawrence of Arabia. The closing mariachi band plays "El Negro Zumbón", first performed by Flo Sandon's, who doubles Silvana Mangano in the 1951 movie Anna.

Upon release, it peaked at number 18 on the UK Singles Chart and number 49 in the group's native Australia, becoming their first single to enjoy commercial success. "Frontier Psychiatrist" was well received by music critics, who praised the Avalanches' use of samples.

The "Frontier Psychiatrist" music video, directed by Tom Kuntz and Mike Maguire, was the runner-up in the "Best Music Video" category at the 2002 Rushes Soho Shorts Film Festival. Pitchfork Media placed the video at number 19 on their list of the "Top 50 Music Videos of the 2000s". An alternative video was made, featuring actors acting out the 'dialogue' of the track in various scenes, including a psychiatrist's office and "Dexter's" bedroom. In addition, Rorschach ink-blots are animated to reflect various samples in the track.
