- he'd bake u sweets and pasteries for special occasions like ur anniversary, birthday, ur parents' birthday, etc.

- ALSO talking about words of affirmation, he'd motivate u to do hw, or clean ur room; HE'D EVEN OFFER TO HELP U. he'd just write u sweet notes during class with his doodles on it and give it after school or during class or even during lunch.

- he'd cancel any plans he had on any day to hang with u

- if u were upset he'd def just softly caress ur back and listen to u talk before he talked to u and help u through whatever u were going through. i feel like he'd ask u if u wanted reasonable advice or support and comfort and he'd give u whatever u chose.

- it'll take time for him to open up to u, physical touch included. it'll take him awhile to get used to ur touch. but once he realizes that "oh shit they acc like me and acc want to be with me and hold hands and kiss" he'll want more physical touch.

- slowly once he got used to ur love and affection he'd show his face to u. he was so scared u were gonna be like "wtf ermm" but u didnt, and he cried. like hard. he was just so happy someone loved him for him.

- how u guys first met i feel like u were at lunch and he came up to u and complimented something u were wearing !! and u complimented him back and yall just started talking after that, finding out stuff about eachother like any bands u guys liked? or genres of movies? literally anything.

- he asked u on a date first, he was so nervous he couldnt sleep the night before. he like confessed his love to u and u accepted his feelings back and he just was so happy.

SaL anon here bestie, ready with the gin to endure whatever nonsense Eddie's plot is devolving into this week. God I hope the focus on Henren or Bathena so I can walk away with some sense of satisfaction. I'm not even going to attempt to say something good might come out if it, since history isn't on our side this season wrt Eddie. Tim needs to lay off his Hitchcock obsession, he did Psycho on LS last season, is doing Vertigo now, and both plots were utter nonsense. At least I got a good laugh today looking at the stills from the Oliver and Lou interview. Somebody should have told Oliver to blink 3 times if he's there against his will, though the fact that he looks like he's actively leaning towards the nearest exit probably says it just as well.

Yeah, the sooner bucktommy ends the happier I'll be. The relationship itself is fine, on par with every other BS relationship Buck was in really, but the fandom around it is exhausting and the active attempts to erase any semblance of Eddie in Buck's life is just so, so dumb (and pointless, like Buck wouldn't be the same without Eddie in his life just as Eddie isn't the same without Buck). Anyway cheers friend, we're on the precipice of something that looks both exciting and annoying, let's hope the scales tip in our favor 🍷🍸🥃.

Well, as I'm sure you guessed by my late answer, I saw this and waved at you from post limit jail, due to the d20 finale last night. I wish Tumblr would have a pop up like, "hey, you have 5 posts left before you hit post limit today!" or something so I could prepare!

So, good news, the Bobby and Henren stuff was *chefs kiss* angsty and dramatic and pulled at my heartstrings! The Bobby montage as he's giving his Captain Dad advice and having Buck cook, and calling Hen "Mother Hen" (while looking at Buck and Eddie 👀👀👀), giving the prayer book to Eddie, giving tips to Ravi, calling out orders on scene, it was all so much! And GOD, them taking that poor little girl away, and Denny stepping between that man and his sister, I was in TEARS! The Bobby and Athena talk got me too, and then him seeing his dead dad?! Bobby is going THROUGH IT and I ate it up!

As for Eddie I- legitimately do not know what to say. The whole thing was a mess, Kim giving herself bangs?? to roleplay with a stranger?? was just SO WEIRD and off-putting. Sorry I guess I'm just a hater but I think Eddie getting stuck with actresses like GW and EG means that him having scenes with anyone else feels good? but I'm not falling all over myself about any magical chemistry 🤷🏻‍♀️I hate this storyline and I'm tired of the narrative that this was some great love Eddie is missing out on when season 2-3 gave us actual canon evidence that it isn't true, and it feels more like Tim wanted Devin back and thought he could get away with it now that the audience had some space and KR spent all last season pretending Shannon was some saint (when he killed Shannon off so quickly originally because he said the audience wasn't going to forgive her and he didn't want to waste screentime on that when grief tied in with anger and abandonment was a more interesting storyline for Eddie and Chris). I'm also VERY curious about where the "Eddie realizing he's been looking at the relationship with rose colored glasses and living in delusion about it" is because GIRL that wasn't it. Eddie crying about her being the great love of his life and how they could have had it all is NOT him taking off the rose colored glasses, no matter how pretty Ryan looks when he's crying.

ANYWAY. I was already not on board with this but the writers dragging Chris into it too just gives me the ick. And it might resolve fine, but GOD!! THE JOURNEY MATTERS!! It matters how the characters get places! And this is just...not just a mess but a completely unnecessary one. They could address Eddie's grief and delusions about his relationship with Shannon (and her relationship with Chris because don't think I didn't clock him bringing up her (shit ass guilt trip) letter but not that she abandoned her son and cut off all contact for years) without resorting to trashy soapy doppelganger nonsense and cheating drama. And it's WILD because Bobby's arc this season and his relationship with Athena, and Henren's storyline have been SO GOOD, and even though there were some pacing and tone issues, even the Madney stuff has been good (and Kenny always slays the dramatic arcs!). Buck has taken a mostly supportive backseat this season which, while I ADORE him, was needed after the mess KR made of his character and her apparent lack of interest in the majority of the other main characters and his personal storyline (the bi realization, being Eddie's partner for all the big emotional talks) is also fine, it just got hijacked by some absolutely bizarre shipping strangeness over a couple minutes of screentime. But GOD Eddie's shit has been such a weird mess! It wasn't enough to be stuck with the transphobe all season, we also had to add in this nonsense?! Thanks, I hate it. At least we might finally be allowed to let Shannon go?? I am literally begging at this point.

As for th b/t of it all, I have literally blocked it from my mind and out of my existence (the ONE perk of my tumblr app still not working and having to do most of my stuff in my phone browser means I haven't really seen my dash lately and I've been smart about staying out of the tag for once) because it's just not worth the headache the bad takes give me. I'm just...so tired. I was willing to watch it play out (felt very much like Ali as the first step post-Abby, something background setting up for more later *cries in s4 Buddie canon*) but go at this point I just need it to be over for EVERYONE'S sanity. Especially Oliver's because like, girl. Why do you look like you're trapped in that loft with MW again?! Why so haunted? Girl, are you okay?? Oliver?? And how he continues to just post Buddie/Ryan stuff?? Loud.

I'm just...tired. So tired. And I need a drink. Imma go find some absolutely filthy/funny/fun Buddie fic and drown myself in that because I have the unfortunate feeling it's gonna be a LONG fucking hiatus.

I’ll be honest, I’ve only tried apple and fruit tea out of the ones you mentioned XP I’m not a big tea drinker so I’ll drink any to be honest. Mostly have some fruit or cherry one though :)

Lunch had been provided by Maria, who made a point to stay out of everyone’s way, especially her children. Vesely stood in the doorway between the viewing room and the lobby, watching Jason as he and Will talked with Vivian on the couch. His two former lovers looked happier than he had ever seen them before. Alma walked up beside her brother with a sparse plate of food.

“Have you spoken with Viv before today?” Alma asked.

“No,” Vesely said shortly.

“She seems more lively today. That’s good.”

“May I ask why you and Enzo are so friendly with my old partners?”

“Because they’re better than you in every way.” Alma pointed at the trio. “Viv is the sweetest lady I’ve ever met, aside from Mother.”

“And Jason’s a literal angel,” Enzo said, walking up beside them. “A god trapped in a mortal form, that’s what Father used to say. You were a goddamn fool to give him up, Gabe.”

Vesely clenched his fist. “I was trying to bring him back.”

“By killing his son?”

He bit his tongue, still staring at Jason and his boy, the family Vesely couldn’t provide for him. Alma’s voice shot through him like a bullet.

“You are the pettiest man I know, Gabe. Things could actually go your way for once if you would just stop and consider the fact that you’re the problem.”

“Why, thank you,” he hissed. “Since you’re feeling generous enough to give me advice, perhaps you’d like to help out on this plan to pass on Father’s legacy.”

Alma glared at him, and Enzo stepped between them.

“That’s not fair, Gabe. It’s not her fault. We all tried to give him grandchildren, and it didn’t work.”

“You went to a donor bank and called it a day, and Alma could have adopted— but no, it was just too hard for either of you. Everything fell back onto me. I had to give up the man I loved to carry your weight, I had to find a solution, and that’s exactly what I did. The company works, the serums work— Father’s dream will live on, thanks to our patients. If you have a problem with our progress, you should have stepped up before I lost my daughter.”

“You’re being pathetic,” Alma said. “You can’t blame us for Paisley, or for Jason.”

Vesely rested his hands against the doorframe. “Just remember the next time you accuse me of ruining my own chances— If either of you had contributed, at all, Jason would be a Vesely.”

“Perhaps it’s best that he’s not,” Enzo said. “He seems perfectly happy without us.”

“Don’t be ridiculous—”

“Don’t be delusional,” Alma snapped. “All the times we’ve seen him, not once has he ever smiled at us the way he smiles at that boy. He’s more family to Jason than we are.”

“You don’t know what you’re talking about! You weren’t even born into this family, to begin with!”

Enzo’s hand flew to Vesely’s throat, knocking him backwards as he tried to catch his breath. The people around them gasped and ducked for cover, fearing a fight between Sal’s most powerful children.

“You don’t get to talk,” Enzo said. “Alma’s been around more than you ever have.”

Vesely removed one of his gloves. “You know better than to fight me, brother.”

“You stopped being my brother when you killed our father.”

They charged at each other, completely ignorant of the rest of their family who watched in horror. Their fists were inches away from each other… and then, they were frozen. Both men grasped their own wrists, hearts pounding in their chests as they realized they couldn’t move. Everyone’s gaze turned to the young boy in the middle of the room, with his jacket discarded on the floor, and his sleeves rolled up to reveal the grotesque disease that lived under his skin. Will had the same sharp stare as his godfather, his blue eyes full of fury.

The longer he held them apart, the heavier he felt. His knees started to buckle, until he finally fell to the floor, but he still kept his grip on the Vesely brothers.

“Don’t you have any shame?” he hissed. “This is a funeral, and you’re about to tear each other’s throats out. Does your father mean nothing to you?”

Vesely held his free hand out. “Will, you need to calm down—”

“I’ll calm down when you both back the fuck away!”

Enzo flinched. “Just do it, Gabe!”

He begrudgingly relented, and Will finally released his grip. The recoil from his powers was immediate. His head throbbed, and a bitter taste burned his throat, drawing out cough after cough. The dark, melted remains of infected veins spilled onto the floor in droplets, as though they were simply bits of blue paint spilled on the wood. Will glared up at the Vesely siblings, his voice already hoarse from coughing as he spoke. 

“You guys are ridiculous. You argue about who’s at fault, but the truth is that you’re all screwed up. If you really had a problem with your brother’s work, you would have shown up and shut it down already.” Will spit out more melted growths. “No, you’re just upset because he took your father’s power. If it weren’t for that, you’d be perfectly fine with all the kids that go missing in town for his experiments. You’d be fine with the parasite that’s eating my lungs as long as it didn’t belong to your dad.”

Enzo stared at the ground guiltily. Vesely tried to approach Will, but he was pushed back by a wave of energy that drew another cough from Will’s throat.

“William—”

“I wanted to be normal, sir. I only started fighting because you made me. I wasn’t trying to be a hero or a god… I just wanted my dad back.”

The eyes of the other guests bore into the back of his head. Now, they could see the extent of the damage that Vesely had inflicted on him, the damage caused by Sal’s vision. The Vesely household would forever be stained with this young boy’s blood.

Will’s jacket fell back on his shoulders, drawing off the chill that was starting to run through his arms. Jason stayed with him on the floor, holding a napkin to his mouth as his coughing fit subsided. He shivered from head to toe, unable to find the strength to stand again. Everything in his body felt like ice.

In one swift movement, Jason rose to his feet with Will in his arms. Lifting the boy was a painfully effortless feat. No one in the room said a word as Jason’s pale eyes fell on Vesely, filled with rage and disgust.

“We’re going home,” he said. “I hope it was worth it, dragging him out here like this, because I’m never letting you take him again.”

“Jason—”

“He’s not yours, and neither am I. The only reason I stay with you is to fix what you did to my son. You’re nothing to me, Gabe, and you’ll never have a place in my heart again.”

Jason turned to Maria, who looked at him with big sad eyes. He bowed his head to her.

“I’m so sorry for everything, Maria. I’ll try to talk to you more. Thank you for having us.”

As he walked to the door, his eyes met Vivian’s. She nodded once and opened the door for him, never uttering a word. The Vesely family watched Jason carry his son off the porch and down the sidewalk to a small black car. Will stumbled into the front seat, trying to find an angle for his head that didn’t hurt so terribly. Jason opened the glove compartment and handed something to him— his mask and medicine tank.

“I made sure to grab it when I left, just in case. I’ll sort Gabe out later for leaving it behind.”

“It’s my fault for not grabbing it—”

“You shouldn’t have been brought here, in the first place. It’s not your fault, love.”

Will relaxed his shoulders. “Thank you.”

Jason closed the door carefully and walked around the driver’s side. Will took slow, deep breaths from his mask, taking in as much air as his lungs would allow. When they were both settled, Jason pressed his head against the steering wheel, closed his eyes, and said nothing for a good minute. Will watched him as he took another breath of his medicine, over and over until the nauseous buzzing of the Infection disappeared. Jason leaned back against his seat and carefully opened his eyes.

“How are you feeling?”

Will kept the mask against his heart. “Better.”

“Good, very good.”

His grip on the steering wheel loosened. When he met Will’s gaze, a small smile started to emerge.

“I say we take the long road home,” he said. “We’ve earned ourselves something large and not at all healthy for us.”

“Like diner shakes?”

Jason grinned. “You read my mind.”

Fandom Ettiquette 101

Note: I'm not the authority on fandom, but I thought I'd make this a separate post and give tips/reminders on how to behave and enjoy your time in a fandom space.

1. Antis: Some are easy to find. They wear it proud like TERFS. (DNI if you're a proshipper/proshitter, saying we're nasty, calling us pedos, giving the wrong definition, invalidating trauma survivors, etc. are pretty obvious red flags.

2. Proshippers: We do not ship "nasty shit," that is absolutely FALSE! We support everyone's right to ship and let ship (SALS), are against censorship, and we are against harassment. Period.

3. Neutrals: They are people who don't consider themselves an anti or a proshipper, but a lot of them do take a stance. Some pretend not to because they think they are above this "fandom nonsense."

4. Your headcanon, ship, interpretation, etc. is not the correct or best one. Everyone's opinions are valid!

5. Research the terms: Please do this. Research the terms because people will give the wrong information. I'm not discouraging asking, I just think looking it up yourself would be best.

(Terms like Dead Dove, NSFW, comship, the ones I defined, etc.)

6. Please do not write a mile long DNI list or expect people to look at your carrd. Do not put DNIs on Ao3.

7. Also, if people blocked you or don't want to interact, then do not interact with them. If you're a proshipper or a minor, don't go clown around in anti or adult spaces. That shit isn't cool, leave people alone!

8. Do not spam or crosstag. Like, don't tag a ship or character that isn't involved in the post. Nobody likes that shit, and it can be frustrating to find something and end up with what you're not looking for.

9. Share content/support content creators and create some if you want to! This is how fandom lives, breathes, and dies! Oh, and don't hate or give unwanted feedback/advice! That's rude.

10. Curate your online experience. Block people and tags, filter content, ignore it, etc. If someone is causing you harm, then block/report them and don't engage. Delete asks, block them, or turn them off. Restrict DMs.

Don't be afraid to leave or take a break if you need to! I hope you have fun in whatever fandoms you join! 🫶

tbh ive seen some ppl saying sals dad dyed his hair with sal and i think thats the silliest thing ever

two things i think are pretty accurate: either he learned how to cook on his own cuz his dad's out working pretty much VERY often ORRR he orders food (mostly pizza and chinese food), but if he's lucky and lisa cooked? good lord u KNOW he's going to be munching down on her cooking

at the bottom of his jeans (due to being short and wearing slightly baggy jeans) the ends have rips he has no intention of fixing them anytime soon cuz he thinks it looks cool

tbh i dont think he rly cares much about his lil chub, he wears tight band tees with his slighty baggy jeans yk and it looks good everytime he does not miss

again talking about friendship bracelets, he has a few from past sleepovers with the gang

he doesn't wear cuffs like larry but he has a skull bracelet he wears everyday

kay his converse are severally beat up like so close to ripping a mouth

he prefers to cut his own hair, he hates the overpowering smell of chemicals but he does get advice for taking care of his hair

his hair is super soft like srsly soft

he loves wearing black sweaters and flannels tbhhh... i feel like it's his lil thang

when he's nervous he scratches the back of his neck and picks at his fingernails

kay, larry might be the cook but sal? he's an absolute baker. got it from his mom. she def wrote down recipes in a notebook before she died for sal when (the original plan was to do it when he got older) but yk erm!

Hi Barb! I just finished SALS and it was so lovely TT I love their little family and the moments with the baby are so funny? I couldn't stop laughing my ass off at the gaslighting option :') Also, the choices you wrote were all so thought-provoking! I got endings 3-5 but I cannot for the life of me get endings 1 and 2... Any advice?

Endings 1-2 are the 'super' endings. You need to encourage your kid to use their powers, even if it might mean exposing their abilities to others. 💙🦸‍♂️

It’s going to be a BEAUTIFUL day today with mostly-sunny skies and a cool breeze through to tonight at 9:00 PM, after which we’re expecting rain showers from about 9 PM - 3 AM. Be sure to keep your pets inside and safe by then!”

The speaker awkwardly cleared their throat, as if they had misspoken.

“Of course, this is a Nest channel, so our listeners from the Backstreets are already taking precautionary measures for that! This is aimed at our Nest listeners specifically. Now– for our scheduled programming on this fine morning, we have these next segments…” 

“Ahhhh… Who woulda known today was gonna be so nice?”

The personable Fixer propped his feet up on the coffee table.

“Today feels like a laundry day. Y’know, like when you go to the laundromat and sit on one of them wax seats, watching whatever soap operas or novellas on the TV while waiting for your clothes to finish drying?”

Mr. Blakeney butted in to join Helena in bullying Kuzuki.

“...Man, whose side are you on?”

“Hahah. I unfortunately don’t fight losing battles.” 

Kuzuki groaned.

“Whatever! Point is– it’s really nice today!” 

“You’re definitely right about that~! I could just go out and take a nice walk through the markets. Right, Sal?” 

Helena turned to me, who by that point was listening to the radio on the other side of the lounge room and vaguely listening in to Helena and Kuzuki’s banter. 

“Oh, well, uh… I guess? It feels like most other days, though.”

A dull response. It’s not that I wasn’t interested in taking part in my superiors’ conversation– I was just caught so off-guard that I couldn’t really add anything meaningful to it.

“Mmmm, not good!”

Helena shook her head at me. 

“Huh?”

“You can’t just say something depressing like that and expect me to let it slide. Listen: me, you, after work. Let’s go shopping!”

“Wh—“

“Of course, Fiore’s invited too~ I want today to feel different from other days for you. C’mon! I can even give all sorts of advice. Dating, fashion, self-care, Fixer stuff~”

I didn’t really know how to respond. I wasn’t even sure if Helena was being serious about this…

Kuzuki grumbled before hanging his head in resignation.

“Morning, everyone!” 

Fiore greeted everyone with a grin while carrying a bag of sweet breads.

“Morning, Fiore. You came in at the perfect time.”

Mr. Blakeney side-eyed Helena and Kuzuki.

“Huh? Hold on, what’re you two going on about now?”

Fiore inquired with a raised brow. She was used to intervening whenever Helena and Kuzuki were at each other’s throats.

But this time she was too late– Kuzuki had already been defeated by Helena.

“Ah, good morning Fiore~! We were just talking about going out shopping after work with Salieri here.”

“Oh?”

She set the bag of bread on Mr. Blakeney’s desk.

“What’s the occasion?”

“Just a spontaneous decision! I want Salieri to go outside and have fun without any sort of work obligations! You’re invited to come along, naturally.”

Fiore turned to look at me, clearly confused by my involvement in any of Helena’s antics.

“Err…” 

Unfortunately, the most I could reply with was an awkward smile followed by a shrug.

“Well, I won’t ask. But, hmm…”

She rested her hand on her chin pensively. For a moment, her expression deepened into a frown, but then it returned to her natural, confident look.

“I’ll have to pass this time. You go on ahead though, Sal.”

“Huh? But… why aren’t you going?”

“I’m not gonna be home ‘till the evening.”

“Did something come up…?”

“Mmm, sort of. It’s nothing super serious though, so don’t worry!”

“...”

I couldn’t help but frown. Ever since I became a Fixer, I tried my best to start becoming less dependent on Fiore.

It felt like the longer I relied on her, the more of a burden I ended up becoming. Both financial and emotional. So I didn’t want to press this any further out of fear that I’d come off as needy, but… 

Something felt off about Fiore today. Really off.

“Cheer up, dude! If I pay for food, then I’m also dragging y’all along to the arcade! It’s her that’s gonna be missing out on the fun.” 

“A-ah…” 

Kuzuki, who just moments ago was sulking, ruffled my hair. It’s something he and Mr. Blakeney did often, so I was sort of used to it…

“The arcade?”

Helena raised her eyebrow.

“Yeah. What, not into games at all?”

“Quite the opposite, actually~ Not only am I one of the most fashionable gals in District 16’s Backstreets, I’m also one of the best arcade gamers.”

“Hah! You’re bluffing. I’m the best gamer in all the City, period. You’re no match for my sick puck drifting!”

Helena smirked just as Kuzuki uttered those words.

“I’m not so sure about that. Everyone I’ve met who says that always end up being the most predictable, since they’re so focused on beating the puck until it slides into the goal that they don’t realize the score ratio is doubled against them~”

The two Fixers, once again, started their back-and-forth. Fiore let out a low exhale at the sight.

Kenzo is also a no<3 he's very confused as to why he likes forks

Clover, Avery and Jolie are a NO (unless its just Clover ig lol) but the three of them together are absolute bitches and will definitely set him up in a bad way

Roan probably doesnt even know what RSA is- if he gets lost, he has no idea how to bring him back, he'd also question a lot of the stuff he's collected

Pepper is a NO.

Wolfo, Creek and Poppet are also a NO. Mainly because Wolfo and Creek have had enough of RSA students making fun of Poppet and just automatically think anyone from there is gonna do the same

Seine probably actively tries to scare him at first before being friendly!

Toma probably developed a small crush on him (DO NOT CONFRONT HIM ABOUT THE DOODLES HE WILL BE VERY EMBARRASSED), absolutely head over heels about his singing, I imagine Toma accidently stabbed himself with one of the forks at some point and Cary is very confused as to why Toma doesn't feel it but somebody else does

Vysio is just a GIANT lady holding him in her hands- (I just like imagining giant women holding teeny tiny people ONSODBSLDN) She'd probably only ever leave him just outside RSA however because she's too nervous to step inside (probably introduces him to Yuta!)

Yuta is a blabber mouth, like a little parrot that wont shut up, so he's definitely rambling to him about something (wether its the most ridiculous thing or something more serious), they could show off their collections to each other!!! (Probably introduces him to Vysio!)

Astoria might try to convince him to put on the crown, especially since he seems "clumsy" or "gullible" (A BAD THING)

Elbarnes needs him to pass the clean check first (happens to everybody, including staff), but once that's over, he's more than glad to talk and be friendly! (Although if you show him the collection, he's cleaning everything regardless of how big it is)

Amos is genuinely confused about the sass/jealousy of popular singers on the surface, probably tries to help him get over it

Indira would probably pay more attention if he's with the fishes/in mer form, she just likes animals more than people💀

Torimiya probably intimidates him on accident in the beginning, but she'll slowly get close with him✨ She's just naturally a bit tough on the outside! ALSO WOULDN'T LET ANYONE HURT HIM

Asahise is definitely interested in the mer-form and probably rambling about something silly the first time they meet- Asahise is showing off their collection of plushies in exchange for getting to see his "junk" collection✨

Tokki is confused as to how he keeps getting lost- (he'd definitely try to help him out with that though!)

Jaiden would love to play the harp with his singing! Asks questions about life in the sea but also prone to rambling about space lol

Mindel is perplexed when he "steals" a fork and uses it for his hair...
