Also, holy cow.
I have read both Fire and Blood and The Princess and the Queen, and really, I was just casually watching for Dragon Content at the beginning (and because I can borrow access to HBO Max from my aunt and uncle in exchange for access to one of my subscriptions, huehuehue, family piracy.)
But honestly? I enjoyed it a LOT more than I thought I would. I’m really liking the way the retelling has changed from the books; there’s a lot that the showrunners thought about and shifted the perspective on and changed up that was done WAY better than the written narrative... whether with better or worse consequences to the characters, haha.
I’m interested to see how the actual Dance will go next season, with these changes to perspective and nitty-gritty details in mind!
#sadly we've exited the politics-and-dragon-closeups phase of the story#and will now be diving back into Xtreme Goar#but I'm kind of indifferent to that#so... onward I suppose!#bring me more dragons#house of the dragon spoilers#hotd#keeping up with the tardashyans#ironically my family has history with George RR Martin#so I think I can't avoid being forever tacked to Westeros haha
