He's 1000-1500 years old at that point, and still intimidating individuals roughly four or five times his age, as a character. That says a lot right there.

Pity Taika screwed his character and Thor's both up, and the current BTS crews like to continue in that impostor flavor: rather than try and do that or Thor and Loki any justice in characterization at all.

#just sayin #Taika was the Jenga block he said he was going to be #and kept his promise to purposely screw up every character he got his hands on #TDW was the last time we saw any of the character that made either remotely popular enough FOr Taika to have the option #and he screwed it up royally; times two films #and now we've got waldron the idiot; his clone martin; and that dummy herron #sadly I don't think we'll ever see eh real Loki ever again #they might try to partially fix it to try and scrape their way out of the corner they painted themselves into?#but we will never see the actual MCU Loki depicted in the first three films again #at least not before Tom drops his contract entirely and gives up on him #sad but I earnestly believe that at this stage #they would have to retcon all the way back to 2016 & redo Gagnarok to fix the mess they've made #and they're too lazy to do that #again; just sayin #they proved that already with the last 5 years of releases #especially and including that dumpster fire of a series
