Read the alt (Narry I. is min, and Narry N. is Ney's) since some of the text is really small in the comic.

Don't confuse him for being a "Tsundere" or anything. He most likely means every one of his words. Also hi @beartitled, I made something for the brudders teehee! :9

Snippet Time ⏱️

I was tagged by @neondiamond to share a snippet! and it’s perfect timing because I did a lot of writing today!! this is some heartbreak from the fic I’m writing for @1daboficfest! if you want to see the other snippets from this fic, you can see them here. 

oh, and i wrote this today and it’s so unedited that I probably shouldn’t even share it, but who cares (I apparently don’t)

“We’ve tried, pet. We tried and it only got worse.”

“But maybe –”

“Harry.” Niall got up on his knees and shuffled over to him, placed his hands on Harry’s knees. “We don’t have it.” 

Harry looked up at him and saw that he had tears streaming down his face, his cheeks were wet too. He reached up to cup Niall’s cheek, wiped a few tears away before dropping his knees down and leaning towards him, desperately pressing their lips together.

He knew that this was the direction the conversation would go, this was what he too had planned to say when he had said they needed to talk, but hearing it was so much more painful than he could’ve ever imagined.

Niall kissed him back with equal desperation, got up on his knees and moved even closer as he brought one hand up to the back of Harry’s head. The kiss was wet and salty from their tears, but Harry didn’t care. He couldn’t lose Niall, he didn’t want to lose him.

When Niall pulled back, Harry whined and shook his head, grabbed the front of Niall’s shirt and pulled him back, causing him to lose his balance and fall on top of Harry. Harry ignored how the armrest of the sofa dug uncomfortably into his back, he just needed to keep Niall close. He pushed his tongue into his mouth in a way without a hint of elegance. He licked and pushed and pressed and didn’t care that it was one of the worst kisses he had ever had.

Stanley was so tired of this endless time loop. Nothing seemed to matter anymore, not even the chance for freedom. And so he let himself slip over the edge, hoping to be met with his final death.

The narrator was so tired of Stanley, who wasn't listening to his begging. His memories of past runs were so foggy, it seemed like it all didn't matter in the end. Yet, he wanted freedom from the system that kept him trapped.

But every wish comes with a consequence. Sometimes even the destruction of what you loved most.

Welcome to the fanfiction, in which everything decided to decay and mutate into something horrible. And because that isn't enough, it holds a few special horror surprises and characters in itself!

Me: -fr just slaps a coat on him and change a single detail and calls it good-

my narrator was a divorced father who lost his daughter in a custody battle because his wife hated him (he's a good man and father, she didn't have the same goals in mind)

he got so depressed from it bc his daughter was taken away from him and was never seen again as his ex wife moved away and kept their location secret from him. in a stupor, the narrator locked himself up in his small apartment, obsessed in finishing the story he and his daughter worked on together before they were split up.

sometime in this period he wakes up in the office, granted the power to control the parable as long as he keeps the cycle alive with stories (hence why the parable never ends). even though he was miserable and incredibly lonely, he held onto the power he had as a storyteller to cope with the sadness and told himself that he'd be happy as long as there's someone who would play out his stories the exact way he meant it to be.

one day, he and @employee210 manages to find their way out of the office, back into the real world. after decades of spending his time in there, narry struggles a lot on readjusting to his new life that's without a purpose. he has no powers, he's a human being again, with no friends and family aside from marlise's company.

so he spends a lot of time post-parable wishing he could go back, and learning how to move on. with mar's help he slowly learns how to live again, to find beauty and happiness in the little things. he loves going to the park. he's at awe how every sunrise and sunset are never ever the same. he learns how to eat again and sleep again and dedicates his time learning about the world, visiting the aquarium and eventually working there to teach children who visit there.

its about loss, and making the most of what you have in life. its about grief and how you grow from it.

sometimes i think about post-parable narry and then i cry for him. as if i'm not the one who made him sad in the first place

Louis interacts with Niall plenty. And Louis and Niall have both spoken about the band often. Liam has obviously been very supportive of Louis and has spoken kindly about Harry in recent years and had said the band has a group chat. I really think you guys need to let this stuff go. We may be very focused on their friendship, but it’s not their main focus these days.

As all of them have said, they did something together that no one else could ever understand. There will always be a bond between them. I think people need to stop trying to keep score and finding reasons to be angry.
