Frozen Teardrop Translation
Frozen Teardrop Volume Seven Author’s Note Translation.
Translation start-
Afterword
The character Wufei is difficult to interpret, and I feel that easy portrayal is not allowed. The reason why he doesn’t appear as much as the other members may be because I feel like I’m not good at it, so the brakes are applied. Sorry. However, there is no doubt that the set will become gorgeous as soon as Wufei appears, so please look forward to his future success.
Wufei's scream, played by Ryuuzou Ishino, has some sadness in it. In addition, I feel that there is a constant fervor in the depths of his intelligent words.
Rather than what we staff intended, it was created according to the actor’s own acting plan. Perhaps Mr. Ishino’s personality is directly reflected in Wufei.
During the dubbing break, Mr. Ishino said that he had built a Gunpla (Shenron, of course) himself, but seemed embarrassed by it saying, “You may be wondering if I’m a good adult.”
The fact that he added that to the end of the story was sincere, but I felt that he really loved his work. I can’t help but feel that he has something in common with Wufei, who loved his aircraft but never told others about his feelings.
If possible, I would like to meet with Mr. Ishino again, meet with his upright and quiet personality, and reconfirm Wufei’s image from a different angle.
Continued in volume 8’s afterword.

Frozen Teardrop Translations
Frozen Teardrop Volume Six Author’s Note Translation.
Translation start-
Afterword
I noticed something while rewatching the TV series. Trowa Barton has surprisingly few shots of his back. It’s as if he said, “You can stand behind me, but I won’t guarantee your safety,” when I was trying to decide the camera angles from behind in storyboards and animations. His back was full of tension, and he was rejecting others. It’s a strange feeling that I believed even though it wasn't shown.
Trowa is full of kindness and strength at heart, even as he calmly walks a dangerous tightrope that borders on madness.
I think this is the achievement of Mr. Shigeru Nakahara, who played the role. Mr. Nakahara is a modest and soft-spoken gentleman. Somewhere in the voice that plays cooly, you can feel the positive sincerity.
After the dubbing of episode 35, I was able to join him at a drinking party, and Mr. Nakahara, who acted so calmly, said, “I’m glad I was able to return. I was relieved because I thought Trowa was dead in episode 25.”
I remember being quite surprised when I saw the difference between them as he spoke with a big smile on his face.
At that time, one of the actors, Mr. Ryuuzou Ishino, said “But the episode title ‘The Return of Wufei’ is funny, isn’t it? He’s a regular so I wouldn’t put ‘return’,” because he had said he believed it would be an inconvenience, so I tried not to make eye contact.
Actually, Mr. Ishino didn’t have more than ten moments on set.
Continued in the afterword of volume 7.
