Honestly I read some of “it ends w us” by colleen hoover and I don’t get the hype
#no hate to people who liked it it just wasn’t my taste#rye uses this tumblr like fucking twitter#there’s no nice way for me to put it#but it felt like a bad fanfic like#don’t get me wrong it was better than punk 57#but in the end#still not amazing#and not something that lived up to the hype booktok is doing#I read like the beginning and the end of it and I was like girl#this is so eh#esp cause I read it right after everything is blue#it just felt very mediocre in build up and feeling#and the beginning was too like I’m quirky yn and I thought I was gonna die#this isn’t hate or anything I just wanted to voice my opinion#like I’ve seen this book everywhere and people are making it seem amazing#but I just couldn’t get into it and I didn’t see the appeal#rye’s big draft blowout#I CANT remember if I made a different post abojt this but yeah#I hated this book#and my friend read it and loved it#so I think the difference is that I’ve read good fanfic and this is her first fanfic encounter
