need to get a 5 page proposal for a new program out for review asap but due to the evil machinations of my wretched enemy Brain Fog, I am Struggling.

which means it's time for the tried and true "to get mentally well, you have to get more mentally ill first" strategy: I have printed a copy of the draft, grabbed a pen, and now am locking my cat out of my office and pretending I'm Alan Wake until this draft- oh, pardon me, this manuscript - is done.

#every day is a horror story when its like silent hill up in this brain #anyway. deadline is friday and I'm barely on the second draft LMAO #i hate when this happens because i legitimately love research and writing and stuff and then john carpenter's The Fog (1980) rolls in and #ruins everything. oh thrift store mug we're really in it now #(the thrift store mug is the only emotional support allowed in the room)#☕️🥧
